@Marios-love-child "Why is it that whenever you read an article on this particular subject it always seems to show a picture of the right joy con instead of the left"
Why isn't Nintendo outsourcing Switch ports of many popular 3DS games to extend the Switch library?
Start with all the small first-party games like Box Boy, and do the larger games later. I can understand why Nintendo keeps supporting the 3DS and its huge install base, but why not develop Switch ports of these games?
Spring is scientifically from March 20-21 to June 20-23 or so depending on the year, in the northern hemisphere, so seasons and quarters largely overlap, but not completely.
The Switch doesn't even have account password protection.
Nor does it use a user-created, publicly visible, global identifier for players. The Nintendo Account User ID is just an optional way to log into your account settings! What a waste!
Wii U had all of these account features... at launch!
It is surprising that there are a dozen or so features lacking on the Switch which Wii U had at launch! Password protection on accounts would at least prevent other people to accidentally delete my Zelda save data!
This has annoyed me since launch and is a tremendous oversight. Why doesn't the game require the current save file to be deleted before starting a new game like all Zelda games before it?
Will I get prompted at least three times if I'm sure I want to overwrite if I by accident select "new game"? If not, this is UI design is worthy of the "Game Poop Award of the Century"!
Can you please ask the developers of Snipperclips why that game doesn't support the Pro Controller? I have four of them for a reason, and the game does support handheld mode and Joy-Con grip, so there is no reason why Pro Controller support should be left out.
I'm sorry to say, but the 3DS is not as powerful as the Wii.
@JLPick "Eh, there were many that stated that the 3DS was not as powerful as a Wii...which the 3DS had Wii titles ported to it with more added (Xenoblade Chronicles for one). 3DS even shows it can hold almost a whole Wii U title (Mario Maker and Wooly World with some features left out and HD not a part of it)."
But since many old Star Wars games are being re-released on Steam, and a few on PS4, it could maybe happen on Switch too.
@nab1 "FYI for those who care, a port of the n64 Rogue Squadron is available for PC on Steam, http://store.steampowered.com/app/455910/. I didn't know this and was pleasantly surprised."
After using the Switch for a week, I like it. But I do miss Miiverse, Virtual Console, and a browser.
But there is one huge issue:
Friends' friend codes are not visible, so there is no publicly visible, global identifier on Switch players. How does that work in online gaming? Everyone can call themselves The Pope, and no one can disprove they actually aren't.
Can you ask the developers of Snipperclips why Pro Controller support was omitted? I can see no reason that games supporting the Joy-Con grip or handheld mode should not support the Pro Controller.
I want Snipperclips but would like to use the best controllers available, especially as I bought four of them, so I won't buy the game for now.
Can you ask Shin'en why they pretended in your interview that Fast RMX is an upgrade over Fast Racing NEO, when in fact the game doesn't offer time trials and the option to play with friends online?
"I'm hoping Nintendo break their 'one Mario Kart game' per console rule for Switch! I'd be disappointed if this was it!"
I agree. But I don't even consider MK8D "one". Not even a half, actually. It's a port with a tiny bit added.
If MK8D counts as one, then Wii U got 3 Zelda games.
MK has arrived with a new iteration regularly, every 3 years, and I hope it stays. If Nintendo followed its earlier pattern, MK9 would arrive in 2017, and MK10 in 2020.
"Also new to the series are the Inkling Boy and Inkling Girl from Splatoon 2, who bring new vehicle parts and the new Urchin Underpass course for battle mode, all based on the multiplayer shooter."
Darn! Urchin Underpass, Splatoon's most boring stage, seems to be confirmed returning in Splatoon 2.
I want Rainmaker! And I want Camp Triggerfish! And I want them confirmed now, Nintendo!
I read the news Nintendo is "selective" on Switch, but this is a quality game, and look at that mobile-like farming game that released same day as Switch, that does not look like a great game.
Shin'en lied and told Nintendo Life in an interview that RMX was an upgrade from the NEO, when it lacks features like playing with friends online. Why weren't they transparent? Maybe ask them that, Nintendo Life!
Also, where is the option to change from imperial to metric units? Not having km/h is stupid.

Let's hope it stays an issue for a "small number" of controllers. The last thing Nintendo needs now is expensive hardware that doesn't work!

Re: ARMS Listed For June 23rd Release On Amazon Spain
Really? No first-party releases in May?
Well, this does sadly make sense with the August rumour for Splatoon 2; Nintendo would want even spacing between games.

Switch has a long way catching up to Wii U!
Re: Nintendo Approached Cyanogen For Switch OS, But Was Told To "Stick It"
@Pazuzu666
I'm of course talking launch Wii U versus launch Switch.
Re: Nintendo Approached Cyanogen For Switch OS, But Was Told To "Stick It"
There isn't even account password protection on this stupid OS. Nintendo released a turd, although in this case, the turd can be polished.

The sarcasm screams "edgy teen".
Launch Wii U beat launch Switch on everything but speed.
Re: Seiken Densetsu Collection Announced For Nintendo Switch
I've heard such great things about Secret of Mana, so if this comes to the west, I might try it for the first time.
Re: Nintendo Approached Cyanogen For Switch OS, But Was Told To "Stick It"
The Switch is good on one count: speed.
On all other counts, Wii U wins every single time.
Good job creating a stinky OS, Nintendo!

Re: Nintendo Download: 16th March (Europe)
How did the TurboGrafx-16 support up to five players back in the day?
Did it really have five controller ports?
If it did, it's a peculiar number; why not six?
Re: Nintendo Download: 16th March (North America)
So now it's
Switch > Wii U > 3DS?
Wii U was at the bottom for the March 2nd download update, but I don't remember its placement last week.
Why was it switched around?

"If you didn't purchase the DLC, then definitely. 200cc is like a while new game. The 8 extra courses are great too."
Sixteen actually, not eight. Each of the two DLC packs had eight tracks.
The MK8 DLC was the best value I have ever seen in DLC!
(SSB4 was the worst value.)

MKW: 2008

MK8: 2014
MK9: 2017...? sadly, no!

Yes. I won't buy games that doesn't support the Pro Controller, unless the game needs double Joy-Con motion control inputs.
