I see you deleted your message, I got the alert. You re-read my message and realised I was correct?

@bolt05
"dude it takes less time now to get your special. This is a buff. Nerf would be taking more time to get your special."

Re: Nintendo Switch Has Sold 4.7 Million Units Worldwide

BornInNorway81

I've seen the Switch in stock in many stores here in Norway since very early in May. The Switch was only really hard to find for 2 months, so for about 2.5 months everyone that wanted one, could get one!
However, certain controllers and accessories are still hard to find.

@Steel76

"I don't know if the Switch isn't selling as well over here in Sweden or we're just being lucky when it comes to Nintendo shipping units over here, as it's in stock everywhere, both online and in stores."

Re: Retro City Rampage DX is Coming to the Switch eShop Soon

Does anyone have more on this, how certification works with Switch?

"As for Shakedown's release, don't worry! This surprise port hasn't lead to any sort of delays with that. If anything, this'll ensure that once ready, Shakedown gets through Nintendo Switch certification quickly, since our road's been paved by RCR:DX."

I hope you're right, but what about the closed DSi store?

Where did you read this? I'd like to read about more.

@bloodycelt

"I think the DMCA (or similar law) requires that a company continue to make available digital purchases (if under DRM) for a customer, or if unable provide a way for them to back up their purchases and disable the DRM.

This is why when Sony disabled PSP eShop access, you can still backup and download your digital purchases from your computer or a PS3."

Re: Editorial: Satoru Iwata's Vision for Gaming Continues to Shine Through Nintendo

I always remember this date. I did last year, as well. It's so sad.

I never thought I could get attached to a president of a company, but I did to Iwata. I think his Nintendo Direct broadcasts made him feel more real, perhaps?

I grew up with Nintendo, and me and my siblings got our first console in 1992, the SNES. Ever since, I have bought every console on launch, giving me gaming experiences I cannot find anywhere else.

I'm grateful for Satoru Iwata's input on Nintendo's games and hardware.

PCs have always been more powerful than consoles. PCs didn't pass consoles "years ago", like you claim.

@PanurgeJr

"Thank you for pointing out that PS4 and X1 are also fairly weak at this point. I don't understand how there can be so many people who don't realize that PC passed consoles by in terms of power years ago. There are many reasons to prefer console to PC, but power is no longer one of them, although personally, since Sony and Microsoft have spent the last three E3s showing how PC-like their consoles are, they've convinced me to just make my second system this generation an actual PC."

Re: Splatoon 2 Nintendo Direct Announced For 6th July

BornInNorway81

Did you even play Splatoon?

If so, please explain how this would work:
"the control scheme should be completely covered on a single joy-con"

I think you will come up one stick and four buttons short.

@ThatNyteDaez

"The first game allowed local Split-screen co-op. I can't imagine they'd take that out in what's supposed to be a much more fleshed out sequel. I think you're covered! Especially because the control scheme should be completely covered on a single joy-con."

Re: Splatoon 2 Nintendo Direct Announced For 6th July

BornInNorway81

I said so 5-6 weeks ago. I said we'd get a Splatoon 2 Direct. We had the Nintendo Direct on April 12th, showing Switch and 3DS games plus bigger ARMS and Splatoon 2 segments. We then had the ARMS Direct on May 17th, focusing only on ARMS, plus a short Splatoon 2 trailer at the end. It was only logical all along we'd get a full Splatoon 2 Direct, as well... and here it is!

Re: MotoGP Could Be Coming To Nintendo Switch, But Not Until Next Year

BornInNorway81

Please read my post again; I said "independently". How do you accelerate and break simultaneously? You can't.

Nintendo said bye-bye to GameCube Virtual Console and third-party racing games by having triggers without pressure sensitivity on the Switch.

@NinjaBadger

"yes it could work. In fact the original moto gp on the ps2 used this very control scheme.

Push stick to accelerate pull back to brake. Think remote control car."

Re: Pokémon GO Cheaters Get A Nasty Surprise In The Latest Update

I don't care about Splatoon 2 now. Not for another four weeks. I want the inept Nintendo to fix Splatoon, the game they sold me at full price that I cannot fully enjoy because of cheaters, thank you very much.

@NEStalgia
"You can't back up your saves or access the web browser on Switch. I think Splatoon 2 is learning that lesson"

Re: Nintendo Apologizes for Switch Shortages, Promises an Increase in Production

BornInNorway81

@SwitchVogel

What are you even talking about? The Nintendo Switch can be found everywhere; large electronic retailers, record stores, even supermarkets!!! And it's been like that since the beginning of May!

The Switch was not in stock for the first two months. That's it. If you've wanted a Switch, you can easily find one here in Norway. Controllers and accessories, on the other hand, are more difficult to come by.

Re: Video: Check Out This Nintendo Switch Joy-Con Mod for Those With Grown-Up Hands

BornInNorway81

Use two grips, one for each Joy-Con! It works great!

@shani
"If I put the Joycons into the grip, I don't have these problems, but the whole benefit of the Joycon/Wiimote+Nunchuk setup is that you can lay your arms independently from each other on the sofa or whereever you want.
The grip (or the Pro Controller) eradicated this wonderful benefit, because your hands have to be in the middle, which is a lot more strenuous in the long run."
