Re: The Planet-Hopping Xeodrifter Will Touch Down On Nintendo Switch This February

You’re both right.

@NinNin
“By the way, did you know that Nintendo allows transferring Virtual Console games from a Wii to a Wii U at no charge?”

That is correct, although you have to play it from Wii U’s Wii menu.

@faint
“Also yes they up charge you if you want to take vc game from the virtual wii in your wiiu to use them on your wiiu.”

This is also correct. Transferring VC titles from the Wii U’s Wii to native Wii U and its new emulator, will cost you money. The fee is about 15-20% of the full price of each title, but I don’t remember the exact price.

I am sorry for both of your losses.

I don’t have children, but hope to one day have a family. But thinking that one of my future children might die before me, that’s something I’d never even consider. I cannot even partially understand your pain, but I hope you find the power to endure. Find strength in family and friends, and the good memories spent with the lost ones.

I wish you all a good Saturday.

@imageform

I absolutely love all your games! I am so happy for my neighbors in east... go Sweden!

Well, I have yo admit I never played the first SteamWorld game, so now onto the question I've asked you several times on Twitter using the same name as on here, with only cryptic responses sent my way:
How about a SteamWorld collection for Switch, but not only two games this time, but all four?

Does one have to be as skilled as the creator to be allowed to criticise a creator's work? That's a stupid argument.

@Shiryu
"My heart is breaking from all these "it looks bad" comments, mostly because:

1) I know YOU could not do better.
2) I know a single guy did all of this.
3) F-Zero X on N64, the template for this is just as barren."

I've been against piracy my whole life, but I'm changing that stance these days. Any console shutting down their store, so I can no longer retrieve my games, will become a piracy machine for me.

Steam lets me own and retrieve 15-20 year old games. Why don't Nintendo keep the DSi store open on a server farm that can scale between their different infrastructures?

Are you complaining about people "whining"? Doesn't that also make you a "whiner"?

@WhistleFish
"Tbh i couldn't give a toss e-shop was down, there are more important matters in life for me to even let something like that bother me. Can't understand why some ppl are still whining about the past, it's up and running now, suck it up cry babies and get in the real world, S#+T happens"

Re: Video: Animal Crossing: Pocket Camp's Delays Reportedly Caused By Development Challenges

BornInNorway81

Animal Crossing: Pocket Camp is the worst game I have ever spent more than an hour on.

I wasted 10 hours on this pile of trash code, expecting the tutorial to end, when in reality, what I played was the actual core gameplay cycle. I gave Nintendo the benefit of doubt, and thought if someone could make a game for telephones, its developers could, but they cannot.

Save yourself, folks...
Value your time...
Stay away!

Re: Worms W.M.D Will Bring Havoc to the Switch on 23rd November

I did the humongous mistake of buying Worms Revolution on PlayStation 3 on launch day 5-6 years ago. It was a ridiculously bad game - so much stuttering, frame drops, low resolution, and jaggy polygons, that I immediately regretted my purchase. Add to that, the UI was a mess! The smallest and simplest change in customisation menu when setting up a match could take anything from 5-20 button presses, and 10-30 seconds.

Of course, the developers never fixed the game.

Donkey Kong Country Returns, a Wii game, looked and performed far better!

I am not buying any Worms game on launch ever again.

Maybe on a sale.

But likely never.

You're lousy at responding on Twitter. For months I asked about the lack of Pro Controller support, and why we couldn't use all our controllers. I never completed the game because I couldn't bother to detach a single Joy-Con from the docked Switch and play the game in a worse way than what should have been possible. I just dislike playing on a single JC. I only played the game for 30 minutes in undocked mode.

Well, PC support is here now, finally! Perhaps I'll finish the game now?
