More Williams Pinball tables are coming to Pinball FX3 on the Nintendo Switch later this month.
To celebrate the spooky season, Zen Studios has revealed the Universal Monsters Pack will arrive on 29th October. It includes two iconic tables: Monster Bash and Creature from the Black Lagoon.
Here are the details about each one:
The creatures of the night are here, and they are ready to ROCK! Dig up The Mummy, rebuild Frankenstein, lure Creature from the Black Lagoon up from the slimy depths, let Dracula taste some garlic, give Wolf Man a full moon to howl at, and get Bride of Frankenstein wailing about her ball and chain, so you can reunite the Monsters of Rock band in Monster Bash!
Experience a Universal Studios classic in Creature from the Black Lagoon, where everything comes together: a monster flick, the fun of a drive-In movie date, nostalgia, and high-tech pinball wizardry!
In addition to this, the Universal Monsters Pack includes the following:
already implemented physical updates for the Volume 4 pack, classic, arcade, and tournament modes available, new achievements, and more.
Will you be trying out these tables later this month? Tell us below.

I know these are based off actual tables and this problem probably applies to that too, but it's kind of disappointing that despite being based off Universal's Classic Monster Universe that Dr. Frankenstein looks and sounds nothing like Colin Clive and is instead some generic old mad scientist.
@Toy_Link Dr. Frankenstein has had myriads of people voicing him over. Be glad that Zen Studios takes care for all of us pinball lovers and provides us with new, wonderful pinball tables, and Universal licenced ones this time as well.
Only 2 tables?! Why not 3 like others packs. Hope for a incentive price
Love Zen Studios. The polish on their productions is of a very high standard.
...Ugh, wished they would make some new tables instead of...well, ones that are just based off real tables. :c
You'd think we would have one for Rick and Morty at this point...or Futurama, or something...
Will definitely pick these up, but what I really want is.... The Addams Family!
Glad to finally have Monster Bash on the Switch. Hope they don't go overboard with the censorship though, which is easy to spot on the Creature table already.
Xenon, Pinbot and the like would be unrecognizable after being put through the Zen filter.
@sanya_exe The whole point with the Williams licensed tables are that they are based on actual Williams tables. There are plenty of fantasy FX3 and Star Wars tables tables already.
The Pinball Arcade have lost loads of licences, and is probably why Zen jumped onto it as they can keep licences for x amount of years.
As far as i know, no Zen Pinball/PFX table have ever been removed.
There were some console exclusive tables that did not carry over to PFX 3. I own all of those too on 360 and PS3. Ninja Gaiden, Street Fighter, Rock'n Bullwinkle, MS Splosion and maybe some more were not transfered to PFX3 due to license problems.
As of today, i own 100% of all tables ever made including all last gen console exclusive tables.
@ToneDeath Imagine if they ever tried to do the Elvira tables... >_<
@Ventilator There are plenty of Pinball FX 2 tables that didn't come over to 3, like Plants vs Zombies one to name.
So in theory they did remove the ability to get them.
@Asaki
Elvira? Yes PLEASE!
@BionicDodo
The Adams Family...
THIS MUST HAPPEN
@Rayquaza2510 Yes. I own the Plants vs Zombie table on Steam, Wii U, Xbox One and probably even PS3/VITA/PS4.
Does this game support vertical mode where you turn your switch sideways and play?
@PharoneTheGnome Yes, and you can flip it 90 degrees to the right or left.
@madmatt213 awesome! Thanks
Niiice, these will be the first Williams tables I'm re-buying on Switch as I have every table inside Pinball Arcade on my PC anyway, but Monster Bash is the best.
I’m not convinced that the developers have actually watched any of the Universal Monster movies. Apart from the design of the Monster from the Black Lagoon, all the other characters and backgrounds look like unrelated generic assumptions.
Monster Bash is an awesome pin! Played It to death on TPA on the PS3, and in real life in a little Taito arcade in Osaka oh so many years ago.
Creature is fun to play, too, but was a real quarter drainer in real life.
I most def will be adding these to my Switch later this month.
I even invested in a rotating tv mount so I can play these pins and classic “tate” type arcade games properly in portrait orientation. 👍🏼
I hope they don't charge $10 for just two tables. That's why I hardly ever buy tables on Pinball Arcade anymore.
@Ventilator yes but they never brought it to Pinball FX 3 so what you say does not count, their license expired for that table and they did not renew it (and yes I also have it on Steam in Pinball FX 2 and on my Vita in Zen Pinball 2)
@DrDaisy Years ago they only sold 1 by 1 tables, and they costed only 1.5$ each on release. They upped the price alot.
@Rayquaza2510 Yes. So you don't have any of the Xbox exclusive tables?
