I expect a couple of more remasters probably to pad out 2025 for Switch, then that's it. I'm looking forward to Switch 2 at this point, but not before we have one last Christmas with the Switch.
That's still a solid list of upcoming games. Titles for August, Sept, Oct, Nov, Jan + 2 more for 2025. Comapre this to Microsoft or Sony and then consider the Switch is in it's 8th year, we are being treated well. π
Luigi's Mansion 2 HD is still holding strong in the top 5. What's the next physical Nintendo release, I guess Splatoon 3 with the DLC included, then Emio β The Smiling Man: Famicom Detective Club (Limited release) then Zelda, Echoes Of Wisdom for September.. The Switch release schedule is moving along nicely to Christmas.
@KimBread Except the backlog will still exist.. π€£ But yes I see what you mean. With what I have still left to play, plus outstanding games on other consoles I might be ready by the time Switch 2 has been out for 4 years at this rate. Still plenty to play.. π
@OctolingKing13 They haven't released a physical version other than in limited quantities from the official website here in the UK which are sold out. That's why it hasn't entered these charts. I had to import a copy in the end...
@B238ben I agree. It's clear a great deal of effort has been put into this port. It's clearly pushing the Switch to its limits. It's an end of life cycle release for the Switch, too. It probably doesn't make much business sense to release this, but they have (Bandai Namco) so I applaud them really. π
@Vyacheslav333 It's very comparable to the Xbox One version but with less foilege, it has a bit more pop in too.. It's a great port considering the hardware I would say. It's obviously expensive at launch, but I would say certainly well worth picking up cheaper down the line. Obviously, each to their own. π
@Haruki_NLI Hmm, the Switch version usually costs a bit less regardless, but I still think we might miss out on some of the new modes that PS5/Xbox Series get..
I've got a physical copy on order (import) so am looking forward to playing this. It's as expected really, it could have had a few more bels and whistles but it should be fun.
The single player passed all my expectations, it's a real return to form. Certainly up there with the old classic Super Monkey Ball games. It's also (currently) a Switch exclusive, so really well worth picking up. π
@John_Deacon The Switch version is good, EA finally put effort in this time. That might be why the Switch version has sold so well this year. If you like football, it's well worth picking up.
@Mana_Knight Me too, so few have played it and with it releasing over 20 years ago making an HD version for Switch would be ideal. A completely new game for most people...
Endless Ocean Luminous for the event dive and some Super Monkey Ball Rumble.
I have just picked up Warioworld for the Gamecube (It wasn't cheap)... So, hopefully, it's good. π
@andyg1412 This a great update. Fantastic to see they have kept the updates coming. A few new tracks would be good, although I can't see that happening now.
@DanijoEX-the-Pierrot Exactly, Super Monkey Ball Banana Rumble is a great game, too. It deserves higher than the 16th. I was hoping it would sneak into the top 10. Well, hopefully the digital sales were strong. Anyway, I'm very happy with my copy π
The comments for this should be interesting π
It's a solid game regardless in my opinion. I got it for a good price at launch, it's a solid port, so it's an 8/10 from me.
@Moroboshi876 I hadn't admittedly, that's another avenue to consider. With it being more readily available elsewhere (even if it's not in the UK) will make it easier to get a copy. That's all I'm after is a standard physical version so that seems like a good idea, thank you.
@Res462 Thanks, I'm UK (England, near London) We could only pre order off the Nintendo UK website here. If I get a copy it will likely be one from the US it seems π
@_Figo_ Same here, Super Monkey Ball Banana Rumble has been great so far. The multiplayer is solid too. It's well worth picking up for those on the fence. A return to form for the series really.
I just want a normal physical version of this without having to buy an overpriced copy on Ebay from a scalper as I missed out on pre-ordering it. (A physical copy will be mine, one day )
It's the best way to do it if you want to go digital. I'm still physical for Nintendo first-party releases. Just picked up Luigi's Mansion 2 HD for Β£38.99 with a free poster at launch which still bests these digital offers, plus you get a poster π
@Jiggies Me too, literally just started playing it on single player which seems great so far. Glad to hear you have enjoyed the multiplayer, I'll try that out next. π
@FoxyDude It certainly is, sometimes it's soon after a games release, other times it's like they forget then remember a few months later. e.g Why an F Zero event now ages after release. Not that I'm complaining mind you π
@Jiggies I would like to think that The Thousand Year Door will get one soon, perhaps next. Although they could go straight onto Luigi's Mansion 2 HD...
@Jiggies I enjoyed Banana Blitz too, and 3D was certainly still worth playing. The single player for this should be the best of all of the three and the racing multiplayer game looks great inm my view. I'm sure it will be fun. π
@Jiggies I've watched a few gameplay videos on YouTube. It looked great fun and the testers were having a blast. They even seemed to enjoy the multiplayer modes too. It looks like a solid 8 to me.
@GrailUK Exactly, I'm getting it for the single player too so it's good to know it'll be worthwhile. You can get it for a good price on release also, which always helps π
@Maubari Same here. I'll enjoy the new single-player levels. The previews were looking good. My copy has just been dispatched, so hopefully, I'll get this tomorrow, too π
"Pardon my tongue darling" π€£
"Forget about it"
"Oh no, I'm too young to have a second childhood"
"Plenty more where this came from"
"A little tongue now, a lot of tail later baby"
"Lickin my way to the top"
"Reminds me of Halloween at Rick Taylors"
"Judo chop Baby, yeahhhh"
Dark Forces Remaster and of course Gex Trilogy would be great to have physical for meπ
Beyond Good and Evil too, although as I've completed it on my 360 it's more of a want than a need. I just wished these didn't cost so much... π

@Vyacheslav333 I believe it's 720 and 30 docked. Very occasionally dipping in heated moments..

Re: EA Sports Reveals FC 25's New 5v5 'Rush' Mode In First Trailer
So the Switch will get parity with the PS5 and Xbox Series versions then? If so, that's good news π
Re: Review: Nintendo World Championships: NES Edition (Switch) - Speed-Focused And Slight, But Addictive

Re: Reminder: Zelda Switch Lite 'Hyrule Edition' Pre-Orders Are Now Live, Will You Be Getting It?
No point for me as I mostly (95%) play docked. It does look great though. π
Re: Retailer GAME Is Reportedly Ending In-Store Pre-Orders
This gradual drip feed of bad news after bad news regarding Game is not a pretty sight. They are now just a husk of their former selves.
Re: UK Charts: Luigi Runs For Cover As EA Sports FC 24 Scores Another Winner
@John_Deacon The Switch version is good, EA finally put effort in this time. That might be why the Switch version has sold so well this year. If you like football, it's well worth picking up.
Re: Play Mario + Rabbids For Free In Nintendo Switch Online's New Free Game Trial
Finally a good gametrial. They should have put this on long ago, but better late than never. Well worth picking up.

Re: Talking Point: What Are You Playing This Weekend? (6th July)
@gcunit Exactly, games like that seem to be out of fashion now, it's a shame. An HD port on Switch would go down a treat, but seems very unlikely.
I still need to pick up Nintendo Switch Sports. I will have to get it sooner or later before attention moves to the Switch successor.
Re: Talking Point: What Are You Playing This Weekend? (6th July)
Endless Ocean Luminous for the event dive and some Super Monkey Ball Rumble.
I have just picked up Warioworld for the Gamecube (It wasn't cheap)... So, hopefully, it's good. π
Re: Switch Online Exclusive F-Zero 99 Updated To Version 1.4.0, Here Are The Full Patch Notes
