Are you kittying me I just beat cat quest 2 yesterday. I'm doing endgame side quests now and I don't want it to end it's so addictive this will be a day 1 buy fs!!
Nintendo doesn't even need to try anymore to win in Japan. And that's actually a bad thing for players it means they can get away with selling lower-quality games.
I've been playing mario kart 7, pokemon x and fire emblem and few others. It's a nostalgic trip to my early teen years and will always be my favorite nintendo era.
Kamiya is the reason I played platinum games from day one. Not sure if I will buy any new platinum game in the future. The quality of their games, except Bayonetta 3, has been rapidly declining anyway...
24 total games and 408 total hours on switch Most played games: Fire emblem engage 92 hours Dark souls remastered 55 hours The Legend of Zelda: TOTK 36 hours
This was my favorite year with my switch. I made many great memories thanks Nintendo! Although now that I got my steam deck and with no interesting games on the horizon my gametime with it will be much less next year.
Seems like I will like zelda less and less moving forward then. That's like Miyamoto saying Why would we need another 2d mario again. Mario wonder is why.
Not my favorite but I would have liked super mario 64 a lot more if it had checkpoints. Especially when you are trying to get the 100 coin star and are at 90-something can't find the remaining few and then die trying when you were so close it's so maddening.
Just beat this game rn and as a huge mario and final fantasy fan I enjoyed every moment. The bizarre world, the goofy characters, the hilarious moments. Booster's castle and Marrymore is the peak of the game for me it's become an unforgettable part. The remade graphics and music are very good. I'm just glad I finally got to experience this gem of Nintendo's history. But I have to say the gameplay is pretty basic and the difficulty was too easy. The hardest part of the game is early when you don't have the full cast or the best abilities yet. Overall, I give it an 8/10
Ocarina of time is still a perfect game and has aged well so it absolutely doesn't need a remake although I'd take something like mario rpg which only updated the graphics and made it more accessible for younger audiences.
Hell yeah already preordered it! I've been planning to play this game for a long time and this remake is the perfect opportunity. Also, I just finished mario+rabbis sparks of hope yesterday what a month it has been for mario
Tbh, BOTW had a sense of wonder this game lacked for the most part, even with the depths and the sky. But if you really want to be blown away by an open-world try rdr2: there is something new to see in every part of the map.
Zelda TOTK is definitely one of the best games of the year it's a solid 8/10 for me. Super mario wonder has to be my favorite switch game of the year but BG3 takes the crown. I played many games this year but that is the only 10/10.
Paper Mario is the only game that interests me from 2024. It definitely looks like switch releases will be slowing down and that the next console will be revealed soon. Also, I bet we'll get a Mario & Sonic Olympics game and maybe a Pokemon Gen 5 remake which is inevitable in the near future.
3ds era of pokemon was the best competitively and I still play online occasionally in contrast to switch era which I haven't played since I finished violet. Also, every course of mario kart 7 has been ingrained in my head I played that for hundreds of hours and I still play that as well sometimes. It's hard to let it go.
People getting worked up over this are biased and lying to themselves. I played call of duty modern warfare and black ops games on wii and wii u and they may have been a nice experience but it definitely didnt feel right. Also they were much much inferior to other ports
Not the kind of new zelda I wanted but it's a great game nonetheless and I'm having fun creating all kinds of things. It is revolutionary. But the world feels empty and the npc interactive characters are few and far between that feel soulless and the dialogue is just childish. As a result I haven't even bothered continuing the main story since launch day. The TOTK Link amiibo is so detailed it's easily the best looking amiibo.
@jrt87 TP is a masterpiece it's not just my favorite Zelda but one of my favorite games oat. The story, cinematics, characters, and gameplay were all perfect. SS had gimmicky motion controls to blame but once you get used to it it's great. Every Zelda game has high standards and thus high expectations to meet in every upcoming game.
I don't want a switch 2. I want Nintendo to surprise me once again with some new innovative ideas they come up with. As for the tech it needs to be at the very least as powerful as the Xbox series S.
@Grumblevolcano You can get an english version of ffix on playasia (or just find it on ebay like I did) but I got it more than a year ago so the prices probably skyrocketed since.
The only pixel remaster I played is ffiii and compared to its 3d remake I enjoyed it far more def worth the money.
Bit of an outsider but my first game was crystal actually. Not my favorite and not too many fond memories but at least that's where it all started for me
Im just glad jennifer hale is bayonetta. Hope to never hear of that amateur🐍 again I bet she already regrets what she said. Her only worthy title was bayonetta and she ruined it.
I've been trying to get a good deal on radiant historia perfect chronology on 3ds since 2020 but I never find it below 200€. In the meantime, the jp and usa versions are 100€
It's a shame the switch is holding her back from maximum potential but hey I'm glad to see Bayonetta back in action after 8 years and I will get this day 1 for sure.
