@Lofoten Yes, I would. I still think there's a bit too much back-and-forth within chapters and other little annoyances (like the Trouble Center quests, for example) that affect the score regardless of whether you 've played the game before or not.
@Diogmites We use data sent to us from Nintendo, and the list doesn’t always pull from brand new releases this exact week! For some reason, Arcade Archives is always a week behind. So it’ll appear on next week’s list
@PikminMarioKirby They're very basic! There's an option to change the rumble (Off, Weak, Normal, or Strong) and to change the Brightness, but that's it
I've also removed the private link - I'm assuming XSEED didn't mean to publish this today. It was still live when I wrote the story, so I'll just swap in one when it's available
@Diogmites Yup, there's no love for the Bed of Chaos here
Honestly, I wish I'd played it before Bloodborne. Even with the frustrations I loved it and I can see myself going back multiple times with all the knowledge I have. The DLC in particular was amazing if a little short.
@Melee_Ace Yeah for sure - I love that part of X’s battle system. Octopath and Grandia also let you see the turn order (and a bunch of other RPGs I’m forgetting). The only difference with Eiyuden is that you input all of your actions for all characters before everyone attacks.
@Debo626 I think that's a fair point - "action-based" is actually a good fit, so poor wording on my part! I was thinking more "action RPG" when I wrote that, because I've never really thought of Xenoblade as an ARPG. When I think of action RPGs, I think of NieR, Kingdom Hearts, or even the Star Ocean and Tales of series (in terms of Japanese-developed ones). So that's where I'm coming from. I'll definitely edit that last sentence.
@somnambulance there are some post-game boss rematches, but they're really the only "new" things. I can't be specific on what those are at the moment, but the trailers have shown a couple of them off.
@kyliedoscope Appreciate the heads up! I have no idea what happened there - perhaps we forgot to hit the save button? 😅 The corrected map should be showing now.
@Otoemetry It sure would, wouldn't it Thanks for the info! I'll get this story updated now. We also have a pre-order guide going up for other retailers soon, so I'll pop that there too.
Late response here, but thanks everyone for pointing out the error with Super Mario Maker 2 and Daisy. I was thinking of Mario Maker and the costume. I've corrected the article now
@AltCode Thanks! All done. I must've updated this just as you tagged me and I only just saw your comment. The same statement has been provided to a lot of outlets.
@Otoemetry You haven't missed anything - it's about how Nintendo sends the data to us. Nintendo UK are only sending out highlights whereas Nintendo of America send out a full report for the week.
We'd like to bring back the Europe download but it just hasn't happened yet - browsing the eShop for new releases and tracking what has/hasn't been covered would take ages.
We hope to bring it back one day, but it just hasn't happened yet and sorry for the late reply!
