Xenoblade Chronicles is my favorite video game of all time. That said, I think Operation Rainfall was just awful. They were trying to get what they wanted by being rude to the people they wanted it from. I’m willing to bet Nintendo released Xenoblade in the Americas in spite of Operation Rainfall, not because of them.

This will probably only be for the one in Japan. Still waiting for info on the US version

@hemonecrophagia Super Mario Sunshine was never released on the Wii U. It remains to this day a Nintendo GameCube exclusive.

@KBuckley27 Oh shoot, this is my first hearing this. Maybe it's just taking them longer to work on the Switch version so they haven't announced it yet. Maybe they want to do something special since the Switch has more features

The Mac and Linux versions of Tomb Raider 2013 were ported by UK-based Feral Interactive. But regardless, the Tomb Raider franchise was originally created in the UK, so it makes sense that they would want to embrace any and all installments of it regardless of where that specific game was developed.

If a future exists where cloud gaming is the norm then Nintendo's specs will be the same as everybody else's and therefore Nintendo will be objectively the best game company, if they aren't already.

The original No no Kuni was released on the DS in Japan only. The Switch release was just the first time Nintendo fans outside Japan got to play it.

I love that so many great games made the list, including several that are typically overlooked like Dragon Quest VI.
That said, it is A-stounding that neither Skyward Sword nor Pokémon GO made the list, and that there’s not a single Wii U game up there.

I haven't seen much about this game but what I have seen has been pretty disturbing. I can't imagine it's very high on the list for Switch fans

Astral Chain was published by Nintendo, not Platinum Games. At least, in North America, where the box art depicted is from.

That’s part of the reason there has been such a gap since the last Animal Crossing game since they made 2 Splatoon games, and now they’ve stopped major updates for Splatoon 2 with the new Animal Crossing only a few months out

What do you mean first in Japan only then worldwide by the Switch release? Here in North America, we’ve had those controller charts on the back since the GameCube era

It seems like they tried to list the 10 most popular games rather than the 10 best games. Otherwise PUBG would be on the list instead of Fortnite.

@Cotillion Yep, this is the one that has been ruined by somebody who has no respect for historic gaming artifacts. Despite its modifications, it is unfortunately still the only one floating around, so it is still valuable.

Piranha Plant was announced at a Smash Direct, Joker at the Game Awards, and Hero and Banjo at E3. Then Terry was announced during a Smash Direct. With a minimum 3 remaining, I suspect the next one will be announced at the Game Awards, and the next two at E3.
