Saying that it’s delayed indefinitely is really misleading. If you read the quote, all it says is that it’s delayed, and that construction is on hold indefinitely.

@tech7 Definitely. The Lost Levels was not initially released outside of Japan because it was too hard, but I beat it relatively easily compared to our own Super Mario Bros. 2. I don't know what it is about that game that makes it so hard for me compared to other 2D Marios.

I’ve done it 7 times and haven’t caught a single Pokémon. I imagine kids would just get frustrated with it. I have no idea what I’m doing wrong, if anything. The game doesn’t really explain how it works.

Xbox might benefit from that but Nintendo is just fine without their help. The Nintendo Switch offers a unique experience and tons of awesome exclusives. The power gap isn’t much of an issue, especially since Nintendo still adheres to the 5 years per console tradition. The other next-gen consoles will probably be around for ages, so this increased power gap will only last until about 2022, when Nintendo releases their own next gen console.

Super Mario Land 2 is the only game on this list I haven't beat. I'm usually very bad about actually playing and beating games all the way through, but I sure do beat Mario games apparently.

I played the first 4 games for a full year each. That’s an entire 4 years of my life. During my New Leaf year, I /sometimes/ played Mario & Luigi: Dream Team, but nothing else. I haven’t been playing New Horizons that much for some reason. It’s not the game, I think it’s great and have no complaints about it. Maybe it’s just because I’m older now.

The highest ranked one I haven’t beat is Super Mario Bros. 2. One of only 6 main Mario games I haven’t beat l, and the only one I gave up on because it was too hard. I even beat The Lost Levels.

@Dezzy the order of the games also isn’t told in-game, so you can invalidate that question too. The release date of Majora’s Mask isn’t given in-game either, just the copyright year. It’s easy to invalidate a question when you get it wrong.
