Super Mario Maker 2. It’s just the worst/one of my personal favorites

I chose The Minish Cap because it's really simple and does a good job of introducing the themes and gameplay mechanics of the series. If you are only doing the 3D ones, then I'd choose Wind Waker for the same reason.
If you've never played Zelda before and for some reason are committing right now to playing all of them, then I might choose Breath of the Wild just to get it out of the way early since it's so bad.

I don’t know why you included the phrase “there's no doubt that Kit and Krysta's story is true”. They’re just two people who said something, and as far as I know, nobody has even made an attempt at verifying their claim.

I’m not sure how it works in a legal sense, but in terms of doing the right thing, it seems very simple to me. If staff members who worked on the game aren’t credited, it’s plagiarism. If this story is true, I hope Nintendo takes it off the eShop until Bandai Namco fixes it.

I think presuming all the Mario characters to be straight is absurd, especially considering that Peach kisses Toadette in New Super Mario Bros. U Deluxe.

I think we all understand too well how defamation works nowadays. These videos are not made for kids, the people who made the videos said so themselves, which makes the statement "Made For Kids" a lie, and also this is clearly negatively impacting the creators.

I like that Lindholm said that his source was an independent third party, when his original comment clearly implied he had more than one source, at least one of which worked for Capcom.

Of course I’m brave enough to disagree. I wouldn’t even call Breath of the Wild a Zelda game, let alone the best one.

Mine of course has to be the Switch launch. While I couldn’t possibly miss the launch of a new Nintendo console, the only game I got with it on launch day was The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild, which proved to be one of the biggest disappointments in gaming for me. I assumed it would be another 3D Zelda game like Wind Waker and Skyward Sword, but it’s almost as if they only put “Zelda” in the title so it would sell more copies.
In the end I’m glad I got the Switch because it has some of my favorite games ever on it now, but I really had nothing to play in the beginning.

If only we had the technology to generate renewable energy, then we wouldn’t have to worry about that kind of thing

Probably none. Skyward Sword HD was a nice surprise, but Nintendo seems to have completely abandoned the Zelda series

My favorite is the four separate directional buttons on the Joy-Con (L). As a platformer enjoyer, it is nearly impossible to play platformers with the Pro Controller.

Yep, the Breath of the Wild soundtrack definitely does fit the game

Yes. The Switch has some great games, but the Switch itself doesn't have any of the cool features the DS had. I would love for Nintendo's next main system to be more like the DS. At the very least, it should have two screens.

@TheDragonDAFan If we are taking what the purchase page says at face value, "you will receive a discount determined by the number of days remaining on your individual membership (no Expansion Pack) ($0.05/1 day)," then the price actually increases by 5 cents per day, not decreases. It will cost the most money when your current membership is near expiration

It shouldn't be annual fee. It makes no sense at all as an annual fee. I'd gladly pay a $30 one-time only fee for it.

I bought the game at launch, so I got Piranha Plant for free. I bought both Fighters Passes, and I bought all 3 Mii Fighter costumes that came with music. I hate this game. I wish I had self control

Obviously I don't know if any part of this story is true, but here's what I think: If somebody works on a project for 11 seconds, and their work isn't removed from the final version, then they have to be credited. I imagine a great number of jobs take less than a year to do.

Well the 2D Metroid games are sort of open world, aren't they? But I'm glad they scrapped the idea. The only open world game I've played is Breath of the Wild and oh boy do I not want to go there again.

There’s no chance at all that that‘s happening. That game used the unique features of the Wii U, it wouldn’t run on the Switch.
