Makes sense, although for a hit game like a new main Pokémon game, I doubt you’ll find a retail copy of the base game for a reduced price any time soon unless they hold a sale.

I understand why they felt they had to censor it. But if they felt that way, then I’m surprised they showed the trailer at all. It would have been more appropriate to edit out the offending shot than to visually edit it.

“change”? “changing”? That’s an odd way of putting it. It implies they are changing something that already exists. I can’t imagine what they meant by that.

I like fitness games, but between Fitness Boxing, RingFit Adventure, Jump Rope Challenge, and the upcoming Fitness Boxing 2 (which I’m really excited for), I think I will have enough for this system.

I think it’s really cool that they’re doing Game Trials for 3rd party games now! I wonder what game will be next!

I hope they don’t release a 4K Switch! I don’t have a 4K TV yet lol. I’ll buy one whenever Nintendo releases something that supports 4K, be it a new Switch model or their next system (which I’m expecting to launch 2022~2023)

Awesome! Treehouse Live is what I look forward to most every E3, and since we didn’t get it this year, I’m really looking forward to watching this later today. Treehouse Live has successfully managed to convince me to buy games I previously wasnt impressed with, including Tokyo Mirage Sessions #FE which I ended up loving. I’m not convinced right now that I want to buy Age of Calamity, but I’m excited to learn more about it!

This is why buying used products makes me uncomfortable. I’m taking something away from someone else just for money. If I got a letter like that after buying something, I would probably never buy a used product again.

Mario Kart is really exciting, the prospect of being able to set up a race course anywhere is really cool. But I live in America, so it won't be safe for me to go out and buy it until next year at the earliest.

I like it when a group of about 30 people refers to themselves as “Everyone”. It’s things like that that remind me to think carefully before I say and do things.

I think sticking to the hardware cycle is one of the things Nintendo has going for it right now, so even if they could break it, I bet they won’t.

I think I speak for many Nintendo fans when I say that I care far more about the gameplay.

I don’t think these reports are accurate. The pin set should only be available to those who have completed all the My Nintendo missions, which is impossible before 9/29

@WoomyNNYes No, they are on separate game cards. You can see on the spine that there are pictures of both game boxes. Looks like it's just both games, but in a box just big enough to contain the two smaller boxes.

The Nintendo 3DS is my favorite video game system of all time. It had two of my favorite games of all time (Pokémon Y and Animal Crossing: New Leaf) and my favorite online game of all time (Luigi's Mansion: Dark Moon). The 3D effect was outstanding, and I enjoyed seeing it in every new game for years and years. The StreetPass feature surprised and amazed me, and I still remember being the first one among my friends to discover there was a limit to the number of games you could have StreetPass on for at any given time (and of course, it was when I was playing the Bravely Default demo, so I had to use up one of my limited number of plays to go into settings and make room for it lol). This system really helped me get through high school and the few years of uncertainty in between high school and college, and I'm so glad it was as successful as it was!

@Olliemar28 Maybe you all would have been better off ditching the numbering system for reviews back when you reported on another website doing it. It makes perfect sense to review those aspects of a product, but very little since for the product to score lower than another product that is exactly the same but only 1/3 of it. Hence the lack of consistency I mentioned. Those two numbers are both review scores, but one is for a game and one is for a product; they can't be compared because they are inconsistent.

There's very little consistency in Nintendo Life's reviews. The original Nintendo 64 and Wii versions of Super Mario 64 and Super Mario Galaxy each got 10/10 by themselves, and yet a collection containing both of them only got a 9/10.

This is weird and confusing. Did they not have the ability to “print” their own cartridge from scratch for the prototype? Why would they cut open and existing cartridge for that purpose?

For those of you who don’t watch Nintendo Minute regularly, Nintendo Minute has incredibly awful editing. I don’t know who edits their videos, but I’m amazed they’ve not been fired after all this time. I’m sure that was just a poor choice of audio for the YouTube video

I don’t like saying that I don’t like things, since I know other people do like those things. But, I’m not the biggest fan of Super Mario 64. I’m really excited to replay Sunshine and Galaxy, which is why I’m getting it. That said, I do plan on playing 64 first because it just makes sense to play them in order

I think that’s good. If everyone can download it for free, it’ll be easy for you to connect your personal Switch to someone else’s Kart for a quick game. Maybe eventually I’ll get more than one Kart so I can play it with any of my friends

I really want to get it. A 3D Mario game with online multiplayer? It’s pretty much what I’ve been dreaming of since I learned what online multiplayer was. And I played the Wii U version by myself so I already know it’s awesome

I don’t think there’s anything inherently wrong with a single fictional character saying something like that, but it is really important for a writer to think about the overall message the end product says. Without anything else in the game to counter what was said, it does seem to come off as offensive and I’m glad they’ve decided to change it

Why did Nintendo describe the third game as a special Mario version of Ball? Is it not just Mario the Juggler?

It’s bad enough that Fortnite is a complete and total ripoff of PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds, but now they’re blatantly violating the terms of their agreement with Apple so they don’t have to pay them? I wouldn’t be surprised if it got removed from other platforms just because they’ve proven themselves untrustworthy.

It’s probably a temporary removal. There must be some strange programming thing on the back end that we don’t understand that makes it better for them to temporarily remove a Wii U version as soon as the Switch version is available for prepurchase

Is it not possible to find out for sure? Would a company closure in Japan produce some type of public document?

That first one is literally a Wii Classic Controller. It even has a +Control Pad, which is patented by Nintendo.
