Definitely getting for Switch 1! Who wants a game key card anyways!

Yeah with over 75% being game key cards, I would say it has the LOWEST line up for me and those who only by physical... Sad...

And another set of games I wont be playing due to the GKC nonsense.

@KociolekDoSyta Yeah it was such a great System and the 2 just disappointing as a physical collector. I canceled mine as soon as the whole GKC issue arose...

@Kraven I will actually stop buying games. I have done so in the past with games I would have bought but didnt as they were download only or required a download, i.e. Hogwarts Legacy. I just dont spend money on stuff I dont own. I have more than enough to play so I am okay with this and I will continue to buy the games that have true physicals

Was excited but I am sure this will be GKC so it is another game I will not play...

@HammerKirby I would have no matter what as I dont support Key Cards but as it has a free upgrade that helps even more so

@JohnnyMind Well thats the thing, I do not buy digital at all and I canceled my Switch 2 pre order when the whole Key Card issue arose. I am just saying that a graphics downgrade is acceptable for me as long as I have the game fully physically.

The downgrade in graphics is so worth it if I can get the game fully physical! The Switch 2 Version is a GKC and I dont support that crap... Will be buying all games on Switch 1 since the 2 has mainly GKC...

@Not_Soos There is already a physical in Japan for Switch 1. West release was canceled. You could ave imported as I did, because I dont buy digital. Play Asia and Amazon JP have it.

I did order one as soon as I was able but canceled it when I saw the whole Game Key Card crap and the fact that the Switch 2 may need a patch just to run. No thank you.

I am happy I can sit this one out as I canceled my preorder weeks ago due the whole possible online dependency and those horrible game key cards...Why buy a console for which I do not own the games truly?

Ahhh it is alway a great morning when I get to read cry babies crying about LRG. I for one love their stuff as they help us physical collectors get games we normally would not buy digitally. Switch 2 seems like a lost cause for us physical collectors but LRG may be the solution... We will see.

This is just so sad... Switch 2 is already a lost cause for me as I only buy physical and it looks like its going in another direction... O well... Maybe Ill get one when its cheaper but now its not worth it at all...

Yeah the Switch 2 is becoming more and more uninteresting due to this. Dont regret canceling that preorder....

I actually canceled my Switch 2 Pre Order two weeks ago because of this crap. I already don't buy any digital games due to you not owning anything, but this just takes it to another level as so many publishers seem to be going this route. No thank you. Ill stick with my Switch 1.

Yeah due to this I canceled my pre order for the Switch 2 last week. This is not worth it to me.

I hope this version will be without DRM so I can finally check it out

To complete my Switch collection, I just want Fallout 3 and Oblivion on it!

@MontyCircus Hm well these are all smaller games I assume as I never heard of them, so that would be why they are only digital. Indies are mostly digital. but even so, I wouldnt buy them as you dont own digital at all and my hope is always that someone like LRG picks these up. Then I will buy it.

@MontyCircus of course not. This is sadly a misconception which many believe. With the Switch we have around 85% physical, playable 100% off the cart with no internet required. www.doesitplay.org is a great place to check this.

And this is why I will always buy any game I can physical. You can never trust digital, let alone streaming... if I cant get it physically I wont buy it.

I never got the hate for this game or the soundtrack. I find this game was the best in the trilogy and the music was just so perfect! I was upset when the GBA did not have this and even though it was Wise doing that version, I find it was his weakest.

I have 0% digital and will never buy it. If we were to get a pure digital console, I believe I would end my gaming career I have enough backlog... I just cannot spend money on something I do not own. Just like SundanceKid said, I will not buy a game if it only has digital, like Tomb Raider.

@victordamazio I wanted to go over some of your points here, as I am a 100% physical collector and will never buy digital, even if it is the only way to get a game...

Of course a game can be lost or break but digitally a game can be taken from you without a pre notice or so. A lost game can be found or bought again but a digital game if its gone its truly gone.

What is recent when it comes to discs? I know BluRays can last up to 50 years if treated right.

While the aspect of the hardware is true, you can always buy a new console, or used to play your collection of physical games. Now, try to buy a console that needs internet just to play your digital games and you're SOL if the servers are offline... So again physical still wins here.

And here too, games are going up in value that is also, and sadly true. But once you buy it it is yours and no worries it may disappear in the future... Can you resell a digital game... nope.

Okay arcades have nothing to do with physical as it is a totally different thing... its the game and the hardware in one and of course its expensive... I do not understand how this has to do with the Digital vs. Physical argument.

Okay this last point so many get wrong and falsely use against physical... If you buy a game and it requires no download or patch and is complete on cart or disc then it is no "digital key" or so. It is your 100%. Only on Xbox and PC is this an issue... NSW and PS it is not. You can be 100% offline and play almost everything, minus those games that need a download or so. That is why I always check this before I buy any games... there are sites that check exactly this! does it play is one that makes sure the games do not need a download....

Physical is for me the only way to play and if it goes away I will focus on my back log and won't be buying anymore games. Digital is just you throwing money out the window imo.
