Yaaaaay
sees its Europe
Awww...
SteamWorld Heist for $6 is a steal
Finally time to pull the trigger on some resi evil
A discount on Octo Expansion? I may finally check that out.
Edit: I nabbed the expansion for just £2.31 by using my saved up Gold Points.
Worth it since I seldom buy digital.
Please I need a u.s saleeeeeeeeeeeee
Finally Mark of the Ninja on sale, will get it now together with Captain Toad DLC.
Resident Evil 4 on sale but still more expensive than PS4 base price so I will wait for a deeper sale.
@ryancraddock why not in alpha order
RESIDENT EVIL 4!
Stupidly sold a phyiscial copy of Octopath Traveler and now I want it back... think I'll go Digital!
@jockmahon It's in the order Nintendo lists them. As all of their major releases are near the top, I assume it's based on popularity or what they're hoping to promote 🙂
Really nice to come home from a frustrating day to find the BOTW DLC on sale (which I'd literally been planning to buy tonight anyway). Now to decide what else I want... that 75% off Rayman is great but there are several other options I'm interested in. Great sale!
Why does Europe get all the good sales?
Tons of Gamestop I’ll buy if this comes to the US
And Mario + Rabbids Season pass isn't on sales once again... Stupid Ubisoft.
NoA...you fail us yet again. 😡😞
Planet Alpha. So good they included it twice.
Man what a sale!! Hmm looks at bank account... looks at backlog... hmmm. Adding another 2 or 3 to my ever growing backlog won’t harm anybody!!!
Yay ! Naruto, Sundered and SP: Fractured But Whole me thinks... probably Super Bomberman R as well.
Also hoping this comes to the US...
Que the onslaught of condescending "just change your region" replies, as if we should have to bother with doing that...
This sale needs to come to the US. I’ve been waiting on a Captain Toad sale since it launched on Switch. I can’t justify buying it a second time at full price, but I want it.
MGS 3d for £8.99 is tempting. Always wanted to play that version with the upgrades. Anyone know if it's worth it ?( even though already have HD collection)
Hopefully this hits US. I'll buy that Castlevania Collection discounted
Holy Hell, there is a lot there, will go through it tonight. Not really into digital games, but hmmm
Noice, although a shame that only Switch 1st party titles are on sale.
I'm gonna pick up One Piece Unlimited World Red.
Man I'd love to get the BOTW expansion pass on sale, but I'm not in Europe
@Kalmaro @Kang81
It's only 7AM at Nintendo HQ, sometimes it takes them a couple of hours to wake up. Though a lot of times we do miss out on these, I think American spend more freely.
Glad to see EU in the title at least, sometimes they forget.
Shin Megami Tensei games are a good deal on 3DS. Atlus generally always had good sales on the 3DS. Rayman Legends and Puyo Puyo Tetris don't look too bad either, although I probably won't buy Rayman as I already own it twice, and I am still trying to platinum it on PS4.
great to see the resident evils in there, £20 doesnt seem as bad as £30 each for 0,1 & 4.
Not bad at all.
Baba is You!
Hellblade!
I was planning on having a break from gaming for a couple of weeks till Fire Emblem arrives but now I'm not so sure.
good sale! i'm going for Katamari and Baba is You. Mario+Rabbids for £11 is a steal
@ryancraddock
It's actually sorted alphabetically by publisher, after the Nintendo picks.
Great sales, no RE4 yet as it can go deeper, I know it. Lots of other games on sales in the PR too !
Persona Q2: New Cinema Labyrinth for under £25 is a great deal considering you can't buy physical anymore (unless of course you have a spare kidney you can sell to afford the prices on eBay)
Splatoon DLC on sale, at last! But I'd like to know how much is it on South Africa and it turns out it's not sold on the eShop anymore. Does anybody know the price in rands? There still isn't any DLC price comparison website.
Skimming through my wishlist, I'm gonna pick up Octo Expansion (30% off) and A Robot Named Fight (80% off, only €2).
I'll also seriously consider the oft-praised Mario + Rabbids, Wandersong and a bunch of others.
I wasn't planning on buying any games this month...
I say we give it sometime fellow North Americans. I find sometimes, these sales are announced for Europe. But then silently are activated here as well not too long after. It would be nice if Nintendo did a better job letting us know officially these sales were coming.
And if it does come to NA, I might finally spring for Mario + Rabbids.
@putosaure So it is! That makes sense 🙂
I had Switch for only 3 weeks, and by end of the day i have over 40 games for it..lol
Gonna buy these too. Mario Rabbids Kingdom Gold Edition, Splatoon 2, Fast RMX and probably more.
Wallet is on fire.
@BacklogBlues They need to work harder in order to earn our precious euros, so It's no wonder.
Really nice sale. There are lot of great indie games for great price too but they are on sale more often so I think I'll go with some of these for now:
Steins;Gate is pretty much a lock but I'm not sure which ones I end up with otherwise. Taiko is still a bit pricey considering I could get the three other games for almost the same price but then again, I think Taiko is the one that won't go on sale for a while if I don't pick it up now. Going to recommend some games for my sister as well.
@Ventilator haha wow, 40 games! Have you picked up Yoku's Island Express? Great game and 50% off right now.
Crapola. I was going to take a month off buying any games after splashing out all over Mario Maker 2, but bare minimum I'm gonna have to get the Octo expansion, and there's plenty of other stuff in there worth closer consideration.
@citizenerased Yoku is a great game, but i already bought it on my Xbone One already.
I have already re-bought some games on Switch which i also have on Xbox One, Wii U, PS4 and PC.
@Ventilator Good to hear you've already played it! Got any recommendations for games that have flown under the radar?
@sikthvash The game itself is also only a few weeks old, so for a fairly new title it is a bargain. I didn't realise that physical is already no longer available though, yikes.
@citizenerased Yes. Fire Emblem Warriors, Captain Toad Treasure Tracker, Fast RMX, Urban Trial Freestyle to name some.
Q-Yo Blaster is just released, but 50% off if you own one of their other games. (Reminds me of Cuphead).
A high rated, lower priced shooter.
@MS7000 Yeh, it was instantly sold out and I missed out as I didn't pre-order. Wish they'd make more copies to cope with demand!
It seems almost every week I see some major European eShop sale. North America had an E3 sale but that was it. I feel like Nintendo of America (which is responsible for all 3 jurisdictions of North America) is really dropping the ball.
@Ventilator Thank you! Already in love with Treasure Tracker and Fast RMX, so I trust your judgement regarding the other 2!
Yay! Now the digital games bought trough the store are the same price as retail ones here in switzerland!
@citizenerased I have to say one thing which i forgot.
I already own Hyrule Warriors on Wii U, so i only have Fire Emblem version on Switch.
Hyrule Warriors is the best one because of Zelda theme etc, but if you want more i would also get Fire Emblem Warriors later.
I also named Urban Trial wrong. Its Urban Trial Playground.
It might feel hard at first, but after you only unlocked like only 2+ stars, you suddenly have unlocked 10 more levels with various goals early on.
Urban Trial were recently 80% off, so wait for it to go on sale again soon.
why can't they offer a cheap expansion pass for kingdom battle, I don't need the gold edition
These deals are not impressive.
And I am not jeolous. I live in Europe.
Hard pass for me.
@MonsterHunter You should always buy Gold Edition of any UBI games on any console on sale instead of waiting for season pass to drop in price. UBI have best discounts including game.
@BacklogBlues
Because it sells in america, in europe they need to put in more effort to get our euro's
@sikthvash Ow, that is rough. I have got a physical copy, but I am surprised that the physical release was so limited. I did look on Ebay out of curiousity and saw plenty of copies going for buy it now £50 and up. Quite a few people were charging £80-90. It is strange since I think you can get the original game physical quite easily.
@putosaure not completly PLANET ALPHA by team 17 is at the top of the list, just lower case everything and then sort
@MS7000 On the release day, eBay was the only place I could get it and they were going for around £80-100+ which was really annoying. Yeh, strangely the first game appears to be in stock in a fair few places, albeit at around £40 - picked it up digitally in the end when it was on sale last year for about £13 sighs Maybe they'll do a restock further down the line?
Last year the US had the Winter Summer Sale at the end of August until mid September.
I think they did it to keep the sales season active until the end of Christmas.
@lemonjellydude even cheaper if you buy from Australian eshop (£14.67).
https://eshop-prices.com/games/2267-resident-evil
Still I have to wait for a discount on the Donkey Kong dlc for Mario + Rabbids, despite the main game and gold edition being on discount again.
I only just picked up Dragon Ball FighterZ! Oh well...
I will finally get Captain Toad, Octo Expansion and Octopath Traveller.
Yay first time katamari and everspace have been in the EU sale
@Moroboshi876 While it doesn't do comparisons, this site does seem to list DLC prices: https://www.dekudeals.com/items/splatoon-2-octo-expansion
It's apparently 227 rands at the moment, working out to about £13, so the UK £12.59 is surprisingly cheaper.
@bluesun Thanks a lot! But it's not surprising actually. I understand prices in South Africa have increased, at least for first party products.
@sikthvash Unfortunately it's the publisher causing the shortage it seems, all of the late 3DS JRPGs since Deep Silver started publishing them have had low print runs, and ended up with high prices on physical copies.
Taiko no Tatsujin, a game I've wanted for months, is only on sale in Europe?! Darn, you guys are lucky.
@Kalmaro why don't you change your region in accounts.nintendo.com and buy the games?
@tonyhoro That's a thing? Can you change it back after?
Can anyone pass comment on Katamari, Surgeon Simulator and Worms for me please ?, Just wanna c if they're worth a punt...
And Tricky Towers ?...
Mark of the Ninja is awesome and a bargain at that price. If you like Metrovania’s and Ninjas get it!
No sale on season passes/dlc for DB fighterz, mario and Rabbids, starlink and no sale on sega 3d classics 3ds
Woah.. Some genuine bargains there! 😍
There's just too much choice!
@BacklogBlues
because they have your money already
So tempted to buy Strange Journey and Apocalypse after loving PQ, PQ2, P3 and P5 recently
Man, there’s some stuff I really want on that list but I’m on a buying hiatus after a few costly house issues. Good for catching up on my backlog!
There will always be other sales, I say through gritted teeth.
Wow, the resident Evil games go on sale to be more expensive than they released for on other consoles
@Ventilator
I bought the physical game back in the day
I might go back to my 3ds and get 7th Dragon III Code: VFD and Radiant Historia: Perfect Chronology but I am on the edge
Super Mario Party isn't on sale on the Australian eshop. I was going to pick it up because my friend lost my copy. 😤
Anyone know if North America is getting any of these? It often will happen.
Definitely going for Baba Is You.
Definitely getting Rayman Legends.I haven't played it since i disliked the escort mission in the Wii U demo. But for just ten euros,I can deal with it and have fun with the other levels.
Will also get octo expansion, even if i don't have yet Splatoon 2(i want it physical).I got a switch just few months ago.
On my list are
But I am also debating picking up TRAVIS STRIKES BACK for the price of admission, or Owlboy; but there are soooo many more gems... and than I might just get Fire Emblem... ;___;
Ah, kataari is nice at this price... and again mario+rabbids? they should finally discount the dlc for once.
Starlink Atlas
Planet Alpha
Tales of Vesperia
Mark of the Ninja
That'll keep me going until Link's Awakening
Excuse me but why so few first-party games, you know, the games someone would want a Switch for?
That’s the best sale they’ve had in a while. Though it is worth noting almost everything I want is cheaper elsewhere apart from Castlevania Collection which is cheapest in the U.K.
Gonna get Starlink Deluxe, Castlevania Collection and Yooka-Laylee. Probably the original Valkyria Chronicles as well.
What's the biggest bargain on here d'ya reckon
Wrong title, you list Wii U games, but forget to mention it in the title:
Nintendo Hosts Huge Summer Sale, Up To 70% Off Over 180 Games On Switch And 3DS (Europe)
You need to say:
Nintendo Hosts Huge Summer Sale, Up To 70% Off Over 180 Games On Switch, Wii U and 3DS (Europe)
@Karsten And all the good stuff (Mario stylus)!
Personally Dragons Lair trilogy is what I want been after that for a while. Now with the discount it will be mine:)
Considering how old some of these 3DS games are, the sale prices are laughable.
@Kalmaro sorry for the delay. Yep, you can do it as many times as you want to.
I always check eshop-prices (a website) to see what eshop is the cheapest, change the account to said country, buy the game (may have to deal with different language in this step), and then, after downloading it, I change it back.
It's specially useful for me since we don't have a proper eshop here in brazil.
@tonyhoro I'll try it out, thanks!
I can wait for Resident Evil 0, 1 and 4 to become much cheaper than this before I buy them. If they fixed the poor load times in 1 or added motion control to 4, I would be more inclined to overlook the obscene prices.
I hope they start the American Summer Sale, because I want to buy a couple Sega Ages games, which in Mexico are the cheapest even without sale. In other words, now I could grab Alex Kidd in Europe, but it's the same price as in the Mexican eShop, so whenever there's a sale in Mexico, we have the lowest price for Sega Ages games.
Still torn between a few items here, like BotW SP and Resident Evil, and the previous aim to hold the money for Grid Autosport - said "summer" release still has no release date or, more topically, the price I could orient my spendings by. Maybe I'll take a shot at the pass after all; RE games seem likely to get another discount in a few months as Halloween draws near.
And speaking of expiring sales, TODAY is the last day to get Syberia 3 at 80% off if you have the two previous games.
got 'Baba is You' love it! such a mind**** but so rewarding when you work it out
Does Nintendo just had NA? We never get deals like this, i would totally pickup Toad for that price.
At what time is this sale ending?
I won't be home till tomorrow (25th), and hopefully I'll still be able to pick up both south park games
still waiting for the US summer sale, myself
Why is it only in Europe everytime? This is getting lame.
Hmm Maybe:
@farmer_humpf I suggest hunting it out as cheap as you can again. That’s going to be a valuable game in years to come.
@darthstuey I did go for a digital copy in the end, I had some store vouchers that I could use to buy eshop credit with - it just made sense to go digital. Lesson learnt!
