This is a much welcoming update, one that I send a feedback on in the past. Prior to this I took screenshots and send it to my phone. More work but it got the job done.
The only thing weirder than playing a racing game without looking at it directly (not counting Kirby Air Ride) is being in front of the table holding the system yet behind the system itself.
Wow, Hulu arrive on a device before Netflix. that's like Yahoo getting first pick over Google, granted I view my Hulu more than Netflix currently.
Perfect time for me to try it out since I'm on break in Florida visiting my dad (old fashion) and the only gadgets I bought with me is phone, 3ds, and Switch with dock. The switch will now replace the Chromecast, Apple TV, and Wii U until then.
Oddly enough I'm happy that it has English audio as an option too, versus only Japanese. For the most part game producers wouldn't waste the time and money to get English voice actors for a lot of Japanese games to localize.
The one part I really dislike when it's come to sub is that they don't sub the battle command parts in a game while fighting. Ex. Fire Emblem Warriors have some interesting support Warrior attacks dialogues that I would miss if not for the English audio during the fights (Freddy Bear). With Japanese audio, only unknown chatter if you don't understand the language.
Sooo many questions come to my mind with this (design, the voting fan, altus, why). My top one is what are it's attacks, and how it's executed (on female characters)
I can see it as possibly. With miitomo and Super Mario Run connecting to each other through MyNintendo, as with Splatoon 2 and the Nintendo Switch app, I'm optimistic that game to game is possible with this through the Switch.
I sometimes imagine if they went the f2p route, extra Rally Tickets would have been one of the things that have a price on it. At least this way you have more in-game currency and item than you can handle compared to f2p games.
I hope that Nintendo will still be generous with in-game currency and items like they have with FE Heroes, Super Mario Run, and somewhat miitomo if they didn’t charge for extra poster spot in a room. Bonus point for using MyNintendo coins in its place of cash, but not too much.
I go both ways with the switch (snicker), But depending on what I'm doing in-game I play one mode more than the other.
Ex. for collecting, organizing or any task I can play and watch tv at the same time, portable. For actions that requires more undivided attention like a battle, docked. So for FE Warriors, I'll battle on the big screen and for timely work with the camp, portable.
Super Mario Odyssey but as a retail because of the deal best buy have. $47.99(with Gamers Club Unlocked) plus $10 Reward Credit and a Collectible Cappy Coin. Too tempting to pass up with that deal (forgive me again DigiGods)
In a alternate world where the Switch experience a Wii U like launch drought, I would of gotten Nights of Azure 2.
As much as I want to play it now, I'll wait. Got too many games distracting me to the point I can live in a cave (with electricity) a year after Friday.
That is another interesting secret tucked away with the 4.0 update. Guess Amelia was hiding something with that whole hiding a secret line. Wonder what else she is keeping from us.
I'm just curious about the person that discovered this. Was it datamined, info on the inside, or they have the adapter with GC Controller connected to the switch since day one. Just testing it out with each update in the hope that it will one day be supported. With fandom, nostalgia, and stubbornness with some people, I'm leaning on choice 3.
It's nice that they're taking it slow with this versus going full blast and having a bunch of possible bugs and glitches to fix. Don't want to brick that system too soon.
30 seconds works for me to get my highlight moments. In this fast-paced busy world, I'll be lucky to find somebody with an attention span/patience of one minute. With that said extra time could make for better edits.
And that's one of the things I love about amiibos, it works for a variety of games in a minor way and is not mandatory with 2 (or 3) exceptions. As long as future games support them, I'll get my money's worth. Some way more than others (Link vs. Bayonetta)
Due to being drained with Skylanders, I never got the chance to play Lego dimension but I always admired how they did their game different from the other toys to life. Maybe one day I'll catch it on sale on the Wii U
I see with the update yesterday they included two new medals, Legendary raids and Hoenn encounters. Crazy you have win 1000 legendary raids to get the gold. Unless they rule of raids, It'll be as obtainable as getting a gold medal for unowns.
I would be sticking to my much preferred English dubbed. It puts me at ease when I can understand what the character say, especially in an action or fighting game where there's too much action going on to read or they don't even put up the subtitles for call out attacks.
A good add-on for those who prefer Japanese though, they should be very pleased.
The only deal I went for is 40% off Xenoblade Chronicles 3D (120 gold coins) since I missed a similar one the first time. Seeing as I brought that and there is soo many other games out/coming this holiday season, I'll just have to put it on my wishlist.
To think that me being on Team Vampire was only due to winning a game of Rock-Paper-Scissors with my friend who prefer Werewolves (glad I won both).
Kind of surprised that Werewolf didn't take the popularity vote. I thought Furries and Marina fans would flock to that side. Can't believe the loud minority I guess
I first thought this game would be $10-$20 by the looks, style, and feature (and video). Seeing it as $30 seems questionable to the point of hard pass.
I remember last year Halloween event I spent my whole day off taking advantage of the Candy boost (2x Catch, Transfer, & Hatch, 4x Buddy) and the leg pain that followed. Highly doubt I'll do the same this year to that extent.
I may get Deemo since I like rhythm games, but I'll do some research to see if I like a good amount of the music. Maybe wait for the review too just for the 2 cents.
Seeing how much Nintendo NYC and the Pokemon Center website be charging for the merchandises I know it's going to be pricey, yet I know I'll be down over $150 if I ever go there.
Such an eventful weekend in New York. First the New York Comic Con and now this. Kind of wishing that I didn't get Saturday tickets for NYCC so I could of watch this instead/too. NYCC is every year but I'm not sure if this will be the only time NWC will be in New York.
Fans ask (long while back) for daisy and a better price for the full game and they get both and then some on the same day. I hope all those that were holding out for this would get it now, otherwise Nintendo would find more to not listen to certain online noises.
Got the $10 one. Seeing as there was exclusive timed events between the release and now, and the coins, toads and items I gained, I'm not too bitter. Wish I could play it offline, but with dishonest people willing to gain the upper hand in "competitive" games, I kind of see why not.
Since they got rid of the one at Times Square, it have been off my radar (easiest for my commute). I have brought stuff online from them since they do have great sales/clearance on toys-to-life products.
I hope they don't end up going the way of Circuit City. One reason is there would be less competition with similar retail stores for our money, the next would be less stores to stock certain products. Be it the hottest holiday toys or a chance at getting a mini Nintendo System, options will become limited.
I'll be double dipping since I'm a sucker for Pokemon and I could benefit from the new features the Switch version have. Only thing is, it comes out the same day as Dragon ball Xenoverse 2 and I can only play one new game at a time. Since I never played Xenoverse 2, Pokken will have to wait.
Haven't played it as often as I used to since Splatoon 2 came out. With this update and the season getting colder, I'll be back on the wagon and staying warm (active motion control user). Worked up too much sweat playing in the Summer.
Never crossed my mind they could talk about Nintendo until I read this Talking Point. Thinking back they have announced Super Mario Run and Pokemon GO for the Apple Watch, so it is a possibility. I do enjoy the mobile Nintendo games for its pick up and play for short burst and quality more so than my other mobile games.
Funny thing, I was watching GMA this morning and most of the time when they were talking about the new iPhone, they were showing off Pokemon GO, even talked about the gameplay and success for a bit.
This is a nice addition. Granted I'm a motion control player, it would be nice to have guard assigned to a button. Also the analog stick to move but that's wishful thinking on my part.

Unless they had a mission to check off, it would be troublesome to find 3 other players for a stage/difficulty. A good idea for Nintendo is for them to make a new Animal Crossing game with the same traditional gameplay as the past ones for the Nintendo switch that uses the AC amiibos in a useful way. Good, getting better. Hopefully we get the same thing in NA too, especially before the month ends. About time that we get "free" games with the gold coins and not mainly discounts and to a lesser extent dlc.
@SnowFox I'm thinking the same thing too since I scanned the purple squid today and got only the helmet (level 18) but when I scanned in my Splatoon 1 boy and girl amiibo Friday and play awhile, I got the other two outfits (top and bottom) at once and something for the arcade.

That sounds pretty fun or annoying depending on your mental state. Thought oversea have the app too but apparently we get it sometime next year.

Getting Fire Emblem Warriors (switch), but as a physical since that's the only way I could get the collector's edition.
With the way I been buying games this month, I probably spent close to $200 even with the discounts on some of them. Bittersweet for me and my wallet.
