I'm just happy that it's coming out period. I never would have imagined that this will come out on the Nintendo switch (closest is 3ds), much more any of the other Final fantasy games that were never released on a Nintendo system.
I am so eager to get this. Would wait a few month and hope some store have a sale on it. I also have to think about where to store it but I have time to worry about that.
Wellp, can’t say that Nintendo isn’t diverse on what games come on the Switch (especially outside Japan).
I was interested in learning more about the HD rumble & gyro-controls and how effective it is since it's 2/3 of the game's main draw, but the review seems to gloss over that.
Well at least when a Switch game comes out with no cloud save, we know who to point the pitchforks at, well at least the people who reads the updated article.
I was expecting more of an on-rail shooter instead of stationary shooter. Even though I have an arcade FPS itch to scratch, I’ll play the wait and see game for this one.
The weird thing is I now know about these apps because they are on/coming to the Switch. Still not interested though; more if an watcher then a reader when it comes to stuff like this.
I always imagine that touch controls would be the superior option for this game. Although I am interested in trying it with the Joy-Cons just to see how well it plays. I'm just thinking one controls Neku (touch/motion) and the next controls his partners (buttons).
Guess it would be easier to play with individual controls in each hand compared to one altogether which would make multitasking controls harder, not unplayable as far as I imagine.
This is actually much cooler then I expected it to be. Even the custom control option opens up even more possibility if you want to play in a much different/crazy way (that exercise ball boxing/glove combo is inspiring). I can imagine you can even customize it to use with toy-con 01 and 02 kit.
This is the first Labo kit I feel an urge to buy and not wait for a better sale or price drop like I was with the first 2, months or years later.
Play since launch (lvl 39) and as a New Yorker I always come across at least 3 other players on my commute. It got better since they revised the gym system and introduce raids. It give everyone a fair shot to get coins and finding rare Pokémon is easier, catching on the other hand varies. A lot more to do now besides "complete" the dex.
Well at least I get a chance to see why people online go crazy for Diablo III. Maybe they will consider Overwatch too since it will also grow money, unless they figure that Paladins got a hold on that tree.
Can't say I ran into any cheaters online (granted I mainly play Salmon Run, followed by Turf War) but it's nice that they are working on this behind the scene. I wonder if they are waiting until next month when the paid online service is up. Would seem risky to cheat when you have an account tied to a paid service.
I'll likely get it but it'll be at a point in time where it's on sale for $20, just because I still have Dark Moon to play and it would take me years to clear some backlogs for me to justify buying it.
Well I feel like the weird one. My first (maybe second) thought wasn't that he got x_x but that he can now fight ghost on a even plane like Ichigo in Bleach.
That would make for an interest game gimmick. They can be sneaky on Luigi becoming a ghost like they did to Zelda in LoZ: Spirit Tracks. Not dead, just seperated from the body due to dark magic.
Now I'm wondering if Z-Moves would also be in the game as well. It would be perfect since the 2 cover Pokemon have their own unique Z-Moves and the game's graphic would really make the moves more glamorous.
I end up getting the Anker PowerCore 20100 PD last month off ebay for $28 (one day sale). I haven’t truly test the limits on my switch but its crazy good on my Samsung S7 edge when I was out all day playing Pokemon Go during Articuno Day; kept it alive with ton more energy to spare.
So this 70-year-old man can work at least 9 smartphones at once and get some exercise, while my 70-year-old dad refuse to learn any smart devices and sits & watch court shows and msnbc all day. Well my mind is blown.
I would have thought that free to play online multiplayer games like Fortnite and Paladins would need a subscription and games like Dawn of the Breakers and GALAK-Z: Variant S (also Hulu to a different point) gets a free pass since its single player games checking in online for the moment at certain parts. I wonder if the exception to the rule is that the games have to be on its own server and not Nintendo Network to work.
Good week all around. I downloaded Dawn of the Breaker a few days ago, pre-purchased Overcooked 2, and pre ordered WarioWare Gold at Best Buy since it's one of the few games I'm willing to share around so my friends can try to beat my score.
I already been burnt twice with the go-tcha with the same issue of completely dying after two and a half months, so don't mind me being skeptical on this one. I'll just stick with the first party, even if it's a bit more manual effort.
Well that explains a lot. Normally when I play, I'm usually the only or sometimes 2nd to only switch player in a team. So far today I had at least 2 other switch players per game (even a full switch team). Guess everybody was waiting for it to be free to play. In which case welcome, the more the merrier.
I do enjoy playing Deemo and VOEZ from time to time. I'll keep an eye on this one for my list. Loving the flow of rhythm games the Switch been getting.
It is nice that Niantic is showing that they're not playing around with cheaters anymore. When shadowban was first introduced, people still cheat and bragged online. Now it's like "try me boo boo".
If I had to choose between Nintendo being more open to developers vs being more restricted, I vote the former. There will be more games I (to each their own) think is crap, but there will also be more games that are good. Thank Arceus I can weed them out by using a smart device or pc to go on the internet and research.
At least we don't have to hear that X developer won't release Y game(s) on a Nintendo system because of their restriction process anymore.
Know this will sound obvious coming from me on which Pokemon I want as a Funko Pop but...
<---
The only Funko figure I have is Mei from Overwatch since she's one of my favorite female gaming characters. I much prefer amiibo with the dual function/fashion thing. Although one day I do want to get/make a Funko pop of my likeness.
My 128 GB is up to the task. Still got a good 36.7 space and I can always archive the games I don't play anymore. Easier to manage my digital hoarding than it is to manage my physical one.
I must be the odd one out with the takeaway of Eevee now having a gender tell (tail). Would this apply to all Eevees and if so, will other pokemon get a similar treatment?
I thought they wouldn't fit this game with motion control since they wanted to make it fair to the Xbox crowd with the stick aim. Now I'm even tempted to download the game.
Well Hi-Rez Studios (Paladins) time for you to follow suit on motion aiming.
While certain traditional gamers wonder how f2p games like this make money, some casual gamers wonder how those people can spend $30-$60 to play a game that have stuff like loot boxes for additional cash.
Wow, I went from hardly having any fighting games on the Wii U to can't even keep up with the releases of them on switch. I'll add that to my ever-growing wish list.
@itslukec yeah that was a funny/weird one since Target was the one that acquired Zellers and they were one of the top chains in Canada that I remembered as a kid.
@JoltingGamingGuy I wonder too, never thought of an Canadian PTC account till now. I know the code would work since I did the opposite (US to Canada) with my cousin's game.
I'm just happy I can still get these legendaries even if I don't have the Ultra version of the two. It's kind of funny that this would be one of three reasons I would step inside a store like Target or Gamestop due to online convenience. Feel a bit guilty.
Interesting that Canada will get them through the Trainer Club Newsletter.
Like I did with Pokemon Shuffle for the 3 DS, I'll stick to the switch version. Got too many mobile games I've been playing lately anyways, at least this way I can play that and the switch at the same time.
I would be too surprised if this was one of the ideas that were brainstormed during the make of the Wii U and 3ds but wasn’t possible.
With that said, I’ll say the almighty coincidence. I guess because fans can pick apart anything now a days to have a hidden meaning (watch too much YouTube connection videos).
I don’t see it being likely to that number in four years, maybe 85-90%. Now that I think about it, if PC and Mobile games are included in that analyst, it would be likely near that amount due to quantity and ease of the games being released.
With the advancement of online streaming, affordable large storage space and other tech., I see it becoming more possible compared to 4 years ago.
I think it will happen impact but not as drastic as some will think. I imagine the $20 will mostly turn off people who game online too little to justify the price and people who don't care for it to begin with. Also with the way those same people currently game, they likely won't be online that long for other to even match make with them, in a probability sense compared to somebody who play online games a lot.
Also it will give parents more control over what they kids do online since they will need to pay for the service. If they don't approve of the kids being online, they can't play online, unless you have to type that are smart or disrespectful enough to go behind their parent's back and do it anyways.
Pretty much loving it. it really scratch that team shooter itch I had. It did take me some time to adjust since I was so used to playing OverWatch on PC with motion control aiming and almost every motion shooter on a Nintendo system. I wonder if they did it this way to even the playing field against Xbox owners. "Bright side" is I now know that my right joycon analog stick is messed up.
It feels like I am playing a closed beta though since I usually getting disconnected from the server and experience weird glitches even with wired connection. Hope they iron it out before the free version comes out.
Also the loading time is killer long but I don't know if it's a switch thing or overall console thing.
