I would get MK8D but maybe when they have a sale on it or more likely as a discount (gold coin) for MyNintendo more than a year from now.

I'm happy that they continue to update the game with new contents and features. Makes the $9.99 more worth it for me.

I still play miitomo regularly with friends, so seeing that work with Mario Run makes me hopeful that the Nintendo switch could also work with it.

I am hoping Kirby Planet Robobot will have a sale in NA, me and my friend will buy that in the quickness.

NOA tend to leave out the newer game at times and have the 2+ year old one that almost everyone played or own.

I wonder if they give you the gears up front or do you have to earn them completing challenges like in the first game. Also what about Callie and Marie.

Nope, not tempted. It would be better if they didn't have games that were released at least 3 year ago. At this point most people already own and beat those games. I would of got the Pikmin dlcs but I live in NA (sitting on 100 expiring gold coins).

I'm still not ready to jump on the repeal MyNintendo (make ClubN great again) bandwagon, but there is so much they can do to make it better. Like more "free" dlcs and games when you use gold coins and selections from 2016 at least.

I for one am very Eggcited for this event (who can resist egg puns). Ever since the Thanksgiving event last year, I been preparing and hoping this will make a comeback someday.

With 20 Lucky Eggs, 14 Egg incubators (most saved from that incubator daily giveaway), and a whole lot of Pokémon to evolve, I may reach lvl35 months sooner than expected.

Looks interesting but I'm still planning to get the neon color joy-con when the local 4 player time comes, and to match colors with neon ones that came included with the switch.

I could use the battery pack grip to make holding the joy con easier separated when I play games like BotW, but it's not enough incentive for me to buy since I only run out of power in handheld mode

Part of me want to use my 100 gold coins expiring this month for Fire Emblem Fates: Birthright since I been procrastinating on getting it for over an year. But with Fire Emblem Echoes coming out next month, my interest is being swayed for the newer game.

Wish gold coins can be more useful towards the dlcs like with the Mario Kart 8 pack 2. At least it should be more useful than platinum coins since they are more valuable and still expires.

5 million is still pretty good, especially given the unfriendly weather around fall and winter. Also people general interest in certain things tend to fade after a while. Even if they release Gen 2 & 3 Pokemon last year, there would still be a drop since new games will come out and distract them from this one.

I still play daily mainly for the goal of reaching lvl 40 or at least 36 (currently 33). A goal that would take another year or two to reach.

Line was long yesterday (just passing by) but they hand out wristbands so that's reassuring.

I would love to get an bunny Camilla, not because of the bunny outfit (still a bonus) but because she the only flying unit I current know with range attacks. Makes for a more diverse team setup.

My friend drop her Samsung Galaxy 6 Edge less than 5 feet on a tile floor accidentally and the back crack, they literally use their switch as a frisbee and the only thing to come out is the kickstand which can be popped back in. Points for durability.

Unless I walk into a store and buy it on impulse, I'll pass on the LE and download the game. These days I find collector's editions are only worth it if it have something I'll use more than once, like a carrying case.

Edit: just scanned it 13 hearts, though it would be more. Now I'm jealous of the people who got 20 hearts without playing Twilight Princess (allegedly).

Good guide. I really love how they don't limit you how many amiibo you can scan in per day. Besides the 10 LoZ themed amiibo, I can use the rest of my collection in one day and be useful. I wouldn't do that of course since scanning 75+ amiibo would be a cheat at that point.

Nice guide, can't wait until you guys cover the amiibo guide. Was able to get Sheik’s Mask from scanning Sheik, not on the first try though. Was a interesting surprise.

I only read up the section on where it talk about what it does. I like the location/requirement to be part of the mystery.

While I won’t deny Christmas is a good time for sales since it gives reason to spend, people tend to forget that late February is the time taxpayers (NA) start getting their refunds back. I know I used part of mines to pay for it.

Granted I know there are those that owe money, but chances are they are in a better financial state in general.

I understand Nintendo put that on the site to cover their tracks legally, but it's like one of those things that makes you wonder.

One of them must be the characters hack. Pretty much when you battling in the Arena, you can see some people using characters that is impossible to get without cheating like a level 40+10 Alfonse or like Srabbit said Takumi 40+10, sometimes more than one.

I know it's only natural for a game to be hacked by people, it's one of the reason why games like this have to be "always" online. I just hate it when it ruins other people's fun and the user of the hack justifies their actions like the creators of the game is the bad guy.

Got my Neon Switch around noon today (besybuy.com). Even with all the info and videos prior, I was still surprised how small the system and joy-con is. It feels weird but I'm slowly getting used to it.

I haven't played any of my games yet since I promised my girlfriend I wouldn't without her, so I just been navigating through the settings. I'm two hours away from breaking that promise

One day I'll get a second dock, but for now I'll just switch the one I have from one room to another. Worked for my Wii U and Wii.

Yep that's one of the thing I love about New York, the passion. If I didn't pre order my Switch online (best buy) I would be on line for the wait as well. Granted if it's anything like with the Wii U launch, I'll join the long line 5 hours before midnight and get it close to 3am.

I can only imagine developers like Ninja Pig Studios and TreeFall Studios were the leading reason for this.

I’m just remembering with the Wii U, how people were saying that Nintendo shouldn’t include Nintendoland with the system because it adds to the cost of the system. This looks like a reverse scenario with the same buzzed reaction.

I'm on the fence getting it. It's great to show off and play with my very casual level family and friends on a equal playing ground with the pick up and play (only one with gaming skills). It's just the $50 cost is holding me back a bit with the depth and replayability.

Ever since the Pokemon Bank update (+1,100 BP saved), I lost incentive play the battle tree. This will be a nice way to get back in the swing of the game since I mostly play to check in on the Poke Pelago currently.

The way I see it is if you haven't bought a Wii U prior to Nintendo switch March announcement, you wouldn't buy it now. Why buy a current-gen when the next-gen it's just around the corner.

As for the NES Mini, Nostalgia is a hell of a drug, a drug that plagues the US (make gaming great again).

And my friends and mom call me nuts for going outside in the cold claiming gyms (at least 5 a day) just stockpiling coins for months.

Kind of relieved that the worldwide launch celebration have been extended. After beating the story (normal), I mainly been grinding the Training Tower, knowing that the half stamina will soon end. Guess now I can focus on getting orbs.

FYI, the Valentine's Day event ends today at 2pm est, but the 6 hours lure module have been extended to 2/18 at 7pm est.

Awesome news. I been playing solid since they fix the server issues they had over the summer. Caught 11,325 Pokémon since then. Now we get this huge update vs just the 2nd Gen Pokémon. Wonder how the Dynamics of the gyms will change.

In that case, both of you would have to be connected to the Internet, even if you're in the same room since the 3ds could only connect through either local connection or wifi Internet at one time.

With download play all player have to be in the same room. The one with the game host from the download play option by talking to the match master and the other 2 join from the download play app (3ds home menu).

If 2 people have the game and one don't, the one with the game (non host) can go to the match master and select join from the download play option.

Tbh this was one of the games I played with my friend to convince her to buy a New 3ds during black friday (was using my old 3ds xl). Then again she's not much of a gamer and she like to play co-op with friends, more so locally. I doubt this would sway him but worth a shot

Btw everybody have to have the same system update to play together. Learned that the troublesome way.

Seeing as I only have 1,455 feathers, I can really use the extra boost.

Only have 1 five star (Takumi). Even though I wish there was an easier way to unlock potentials for 4 to 5 stars, I can understand that it's not there to overshadow the orb summoning which is the main draw for powerful characters.

From what I can remember you can talk to the match master after you have one friend joined online to recruit an random.
Edit: Ok I double check it's in the game manual as well.

If I wasn't region locked to NA, I would join in to help. Lately I been playing locally with the download play.
