I already have multiple fighting games that I don't play... I think I'll wait for Crystal Crisis.
Looks really interesting.
love these kinda fighting games. Feels like street fighter 3rd strike. Loved that game.
This just doesn't look good to me. Neat idea though.
This is not a day-1 buy for me yet, but I’m keeping a close eye on it. Back in the day, I used to have all the Mortal Kombat moves and stuff memorized (and I still wasn’t very good, haha), but these days there’s not enough space left in the ol’ noggin for useless information, so I’m liking their control scheme for this game. Games like this, Smash, and Roof Rage (when it comes out) sound great - easy to pick up and play, but with enough depth that you can really master your chosen fighters. I look forward to the reviews on this to see what the general consensus is.
Why Shovel Knight looks so tall!???? He's suppose to be a tiny knight!!
I think this looks pretty neat so I got this pre-ordered as an import, as far as I'm aware I don't think it's coming to Europe, at least I haven't heard anything of it.
Thank goodness for no region lock.
Any word at all on an EU release?
I really like the look of this.
Wow, I went from hardly having any fighting games on the Wii U to can't even keep up with the releases of them on switch. I'll add that to my ever-growing wish list.
Fingers still crossed for that port of Rivals of Aether. Aaaaany day, now....
@0muros That was my first thought, too! Most other NPCs in that game are a good several pixels taller. That being said, Shovel Knight is the main reason I've been keeping my eyes on this game.
Not a big fan of these proper fighting games (unlike the more accessible Super Smash Bros series) but this actually looks really awesome. It’s hard to say no when you see these awesome indies! I’ll probably get it.
Yes Yes and Yes.
No European announcement, why?
This looks REALLY rad. Totally pre-ordering.
Nicalis, huh?
Can't wait to get this game in Europe around 2020.
Can't wait!
Sweet!
Meh was looking forward to it when it got announced ages ago but then went off gunvolt Inc this game a lil while ago... Don't do fighting games anyway, looks abit meh
Preordered
Cool. I’m in
@Desrever seriously I don't like that Shovel knight is that tall. Don't makes sense with the game. You don't like Isaac and Gunvolt? I would like to see Hyper light drifter and Runbow in that game too.
I'm on the fence with this one. It sounds neat, but we're getting a lot of fighting games now and in the near future. I can't master them all or afford to buy too many, so I'm going to have to wait until there is a consensus on which ones are really worth it. The gimmick of an "Indie Smash Bros." is lost on me since I don't know most of the characters.
Gosh, Code of Princess takes me back to 2012.
@Royalblues In terms of fightsticks I got a Mayflash f300 (I think that's what it's called) and a usb a female to usb c adapter so I could play with a fightstick in portable mode. The fightstick I mentioned isn't too bad in terms of costs (it ran me around $60)
Surprised to see all the pessimism surrounding a solid-looking game coming to the system. I guess when companies stop taking the system seriously and not making games for it is when we'll start asking for and wanting some of these kind of games again. You'll likely then start to hear a whole bunch of "why isn't this on the Nintendo Switch?" or "there's no excuse since Switch can handle this" when it's not there. Just like we have heard about so many other games when tgey say eff it and skip the system. And while I can ubderstand something not being your thing, butwhen I start to see all this seemingly sudden apathy from Nintendo fans I just shake my head and laugh a little.
I will say this as respectfully possible: let's not start getting cocky Nintendo fans! Ir is not to far off ago that you could see people ready to tar and feather companies that bypass the Switch or outright say eff the thing and it's fans wants, feelings & opinions. And honestly, given the fact that at the end of the day this is a business, you can see why some of these guys wouldn't go all the way in, making excuses to avoid the platform or remain reluctant given how fickle and blase Nintendo fans can be at times.
