Re: It's Official, Switch 2 Has Sold Over 3.5 Million Units Globally In Its First Four Days

Honestly i think everyone needs to get over the $80 price thing. it want even $80 if you bought the bundle so i really don't understand what all the furore is about. Things are more expensive now, its just facts, from coffee to pints to your car insurance. Thats just the world we live in whether you like it or not, I do not understand all the hate nintendo is getting for this when we all know things like GTA VI are going to be $90 likely. Its not their fault. Nintendo have brought me so much joy over my life i don't want to see them fail, I want them to remain profitable so they can bring me more joy, whether through movies games or theme parks. A world without them would be a worse place and if £10 extra is the price to pay for that then i'm fine with it. Fake internet rage is so passé.

Re: Opinion: It's Been 20 Years Since I Was This Excited For A Mario Kart

Yep. I think this was a great move because MK8 was basically the definitive version of all the Mario Karts that came before, so there was no place for an MK9 that did the same thing with just some new tracks.

This is the natural evolution of the series and fits it into the gaming landscape of 2025, with online hangout play for friends and a world to live in. Nintendo will have seen from animal Crossing (and minecraft/fortnite etc) that this is how kids want to play now and its frankly what they expect from their games now. It looks like an absolute blast.

Re: Warner Bros. Doubles Down On Its Commitment To Live Service Games

Utter morons. How can the takeout from making the best selling single player game of 2023, the first to beat Call of Duty in like a decade I might add, making well over a billion quid, to be to convert it to a failed live service like Suicide Squad, which has like 400 players on steam.

These execs have never played a game in their lives. I'm just sad that Hogwarts Legacy will be the only good Harry Potter game i'll probably ever play. Let's cherish it. What a crying, crying shame.

Re: Analysts Doubt 'Switch 2' Will Be Able To Top Switch's Mighty Sales Numbers

Don't see how on the one hand analysts keep telling us video games are the biggest growing industry in the world, and then saying no, no growth possible with Switch. Have they not seen the success of the Mario movie?

Nintendo has the most valuable IP in all of gaming, and ever other investor like Embracer are just destroying the value of their IP. They'll be fine. We're three theme parks deep already.

Weird.
