If you are planning to pick up a Nintendo Switch Lite this weekend, you won't want to miss these outstanding bargains on micro SD cards from Amazon UK. The Nintendo Switch comes with only 32GB of internal memory which will get used up quickly once you have download a few games. It's a great investment to boost your Switch's storage space with a micro SD card from day one.
We've rounded up lots of options for the best micro SD cards in our handy guide, but we are particularly impressed at the all-time low prices for the 128GB micro SD card for £13.49 and the 200GB micro SD card for £22.29.
While there are bigger micro SD cards on the market, the 128GB and 200GB options will suit most people who download only a moderate amount of games.
We even checked the prices on Amazon price tracker CamelCamelCamel and it's fascinating how the prices have tumbled down over time.
Do let us know if you are planning on picking up a Switch Lite this weekend along with one of these lovely micro SD cards.

I filled my 200 GB to the brim so I got a 400 GB one last week. It's badly needed considering how many games that I want are coming out at the moment.
Breaking News: Memory is cheaper than it used to be.
I don't think 128 is even big enough anymore, and 200 is getting the same way.
Like when I got my first digital camera around 2003, it was a 4 megapixel Olympus. Started with a 32mb XD card, then a 64, then I bought a 128mb XD card, then by the time I cared about digital cameras again, mobile phones became the norm for general photos and we don't even care about taking 30 min videos on those these days.
the price is good, the make... not so much. I've only had trouble in the past with SanDisk
@Rhaoulos I have had issues with everything except SanDisk, it's my go to brand for SD cards.
I'm a photographer and gamer used only SanDisk and had one failure in 10 years....
We need 1tb to be price right so we save our sd space.
@alpacatears Yeah, I also had to upgrade to 400. Not a bad price, though!
I hope the price of the tera one tumble down soon as it seems more and more third parties making games for Switch are cheaping out of making physical copies and either going half digital or all digital releases.
I predicted this in the past
Currently have an 128GB one in. Actually noticed last night that it was practically full (like 2GB left).
It's not much but I just ordered the 200GB one. I suppose it is just under double the size, though it should keep me going since I don't tend to buy that many big releases.
I'm waiting for a 1TB card to reach the 100-120 dollar range.
My 400 gb is now full up, have archived a few games to save space, now waiting for 1tb to drop in price
So if the price is way down, does that mean that NL gets a smaller cut when the affiliate link is used?
Sad 😭
Waiting on 1tb to drop in price. My 512gb won't cut it anymore longer.
I've got over a TB spread across four cards. I'm good for a while I reckon.
Oh and all SanDisk, never had an issue.
I cracked and bought the 1TB card last week. Fire Emblem pushed my 400GB over the edge!
I have a 128gb one. While i certainly would like to have more space, the truth is i don't need it. I have something close to 32 games installed at the moment. Of those, the only one I've played (to death, by the way) is dark souls. All the others are part of my backlog (of shame).
So i actually think it's not that important to upgrade my SD card since i won't play more than 2 or 3 games at the same time (and then you can just erase the ones you know you won't come back to and download new ones).
Eurogamer posted this 2 days ago.
Then I saw it on another site yesterday.
Now here.
Affiliate linking articles feel like they're beginning to choke the web.
I'm holding out for 256gb, FYI.
Yeah, saw that on Amazon as well. Might get a 200GB along with that Japanese Piranha Plant amiibo.
I lived in a country where Amazon is almost out of reach. But looking at these comments, I just wanted to share some info, please excuse me if I am talking about the obvious.
1. You can change micro SD cards. I lived in a country where memory is still an expensive thing, so I just bought multiple micro SD cards instead of one big micro SD for my Switch. Just don't forget to completely shut down you Switch before swapping your micro SD cards.
2. Be careful of counterfeits! As far as I can tell, there is almost no way to know what you are buying, if you are buying online. Check how to recognize counterfeit products. And lastly, according to SanDisk, "The best way to ensure you are purchasing an authentic SanDisk product is to buy from an authorized SanDisk reseller."
Cheers
I'm over here needing a 1 TB card. Can't believe I've almost used up a 400 GB card, but that's what going almost all digital does for ya.
Waiting for the 1tb's to drop. Started out with 128gb, now on a 400 and it's getting awwfy full.
Filled my 400G so has to delete some games! Waiting in the weeds for the 1TB to drop down! 😂
@DinnerAndWine Free website in affiliate links shocker.
@Xelha That's obviously a fake card.
Just like 90% of micro SD cards on Ebay.
There are two important rules of buying memory cards:
1. They should be a well-known brand.
2. Only buy them from trustworthy places.
I’ve been holding out for a deal and got excited when I read this article but my 256 is already full and loads of games archived so I need a 512 (or 1tb) and that’s still £170 odd quid
I’ve just recently bought a 256Gb integral card off Amazon for £26. Gives about 230Gb of space and works a treat so far. That plus my 128Gb and 64Gb SanDisk cards have me covered at the moment. I’m beginning to go digital more and more.
Waiting for the bigger cards to tumble in price, or for Nintendo to release a switch with more storage. Even buying the vaste majority of my games in physical form. The updates, and DLC, are already filling up my 128 gig card
@Xelha I wouldn't buy a 1.TB for 40 bucks today unless it were from a reliable brand.
got 400GB gonna wait for black friday to switch to 512 or even 1tb
considering amount of games available and sd card sizes, maybe they should release next switch model with two sd card slots
I'm going to buy a 500gb one, 128 gb got full too fast.
i get the physical copy of the game in order to avoid storing data on a MicroSD card. however, a lot of data still gets stored on the card. when are they going to release a low price MicroSD card with a 512GB capacity or higher.
I got a 128gb card for 13€ a few days ago. Gonna use that for demos and smaller games I don't play a lot.
Just picked two 200GB ones. Hopefully it’ll be enough for all the switch games I’ve downloaded.
@alpacatears I actually did the same exact thing. Crazy how cheap storage is now a days!
@Lordplops "I've got over a TB spread across four cards. I'm good for a while I reckon."
I rather have 4 1tb cards like that then spreading my cards. With one card I have less chances to loose where I put the sd cards.
@Predator "Just picked two 200GB ones. Hopefully it’ll be enough for all the switch games I’ve downloaded."
For the price right now you should've gotten at least two 400gb. I filled a 200gb in no time with my collections and updates.
Main reason I buy physical is because the game is mine and less storage used. I have a 400 already and still have well over half of it available with over 100 games bought. I get the whole wanting digital thing but be prepared to use storage space.
I'm on a 64GB card with 40GB still free. Obviously I go physical. I doubt I'll ever need a bigger card and would likely delete or archive stuff if it gets full.
The 256GB for $37 / £30 seems to be the sweet spot.
Be careful. I bought a Sandisk 400GB off them a few weeks ago and it was fake. Packaging and product looked 100% legit. I only discovered it was fake when it was formatted and was still 400gb. Turns out it was only a 32gb card.
Nice logarithmic timescale to make the drop seem faster.
Although I guess the price is better than ever, no matter how you spin it.
It really is crazy how quickly Micro SD prices decline. When the 500GB card first dropped it was like $400+, and now that same card is under $100. And it's a card that hasn't even been around 2 years yet.
@SwitchForce yes, and more chances of breaking one
@Lordplops anything can break including your Switch. The more cards the more chances to break them as well or breaking the sd slot Switching(pun) them out.
@SwitchForce well, it won't matter when you break it
