@TheWoy I came to say the exact same thing. I cannot believe they haven’t created a Nintendogs game for mobile yet. It would be the perfect IP to put on the phone.
Where are you finding this press release, and the photo of the different variations? You’re the only site I see reporting on this, and you don’t even know what’s up with it…
I seem to remember people theorizing it was running on a switch pro/switch 2 when the game was first shown because they said it looked too good for the OG switch…
I live walking distance from Universal Hollywood and I cannot wait for this place to open. There was a rumor a while back that Saddle Ranch steakhouse in Universal’s City Walk was closing down and a new Nintendo Store was going to open on its place. If that’s true, my bank account will forever be empty.
How this series never made it into a mobile app is beyond me. They’re perfect for the platform. You could literally take your Nintendog for real world walks similar to Pokémon Go... seems like a missed opportunity.
Did they say if this was going to be a standalone announcement from the Pokemon company, or can we get our expectations unrealistically high for an actual direct next week that this will be a part of?
I want the ability to craft a tool without first having to craft the flimsy version as long as I have the required materials that would be needed for the flimsy one plus the standard one.
@SmaMan @thesilverbrick you absolutely can still re-download any game you purchased digitally from the Wii shop channel. I literally just did two days ago.
Disney Afternoon Collection, Both Mega Man Legacy games, Street fighter Collection, and some RE love. I know for certain that some of them are already in the works.
Target went up and is already out. Had one in my cart. Every time I tried to check it out it kicked me back until it was automatically removed from my cart and I am without one.
It seems to me like a lot of people are confusing "shipped" numbers with "sales" numbers. I don't believe the "20 million shipped," but I think "10 million sold" is a reasonable estimation.
I've been to E3 a couple times in the last several years and these booths are the exact size and places the Nintendo booths were during my experiences, one of which was last year's Breath of the Wild showcase.
@-DEMISE- #69 I just want to point out that the word "Nintendo" doesn't show up ANYWHERE in the game. Not even in the terms of service section. I agree with the point you were making, but I just found that to be interesting.
Trying to limit my choices to only 5 was incredibly difficult and goes to show that the Gamecube was an amazing little box with so many amazing titles.
CAN PEOPLE PLEASE STOP CALLING THIS AN ENDLESS RUNNER!!
I see zero indication that this is ENDLESS. It looks very much to me as though there are different levels with specific challenges and goals. A runner, yes. Endless? No.
I was lucky enough to check out the demo at e3. It lasted about 50 minutes with the first 20 having you just dropped in the middle of the map and told to explore, and the next 30 minutes started from what seemed like the beginning of the narrative. It was both classic zelda and completely new at the same time. I didn't get very far in my exploration because I needed to look at everything before I moved on, but what I did see was incredibly refreshing.
I think it's fairly obvious that this is hinting at Mario Kart 8 DLC. The Kalamari Desert clearly hints at Callie and Marie from Splatoon showing up. How anyone can think this is a meaningless post this close to E3 is beyond me.
I really hope that Nintendo isn't offering a lot of the same titles on both Wii U and 3DS because both virtual console services will be combined in the NX. That way all of the snes, n64, gba, nds, and wii games on the Wii U and the gb and gbc games on the 3ds will be available under one roof with only the NES titles the ones that people ended up double dipping on.
Just played your chase. It was pretty fun and I really appreciate all the work you out in to make the level appealing to the eye as well. My only critique would be that Bowser's actions and flame pattern are pretty unpredictable making me die several times. But it never came off as you trolling the player. 👍🏼
@Nego awesome! I was thinking about doing something like that too. What's the code? I'll check it out.
@Crunch85 I'll definitely give your levels a spin tomorrow. I'm very eager to play the levels of people who actually take time to make something cohesive and challenging.
@Aneira thanks I'll check them out. I'm afraid that even if they added a better filter for the games I would still be forced to watch a bunch of "don't touch anything" levels because for some reason those ones are getting tons of stars. I'm also trying to make actual levels that challenge players, but are still (hopefully) enjoyable. Here's one and you can check out my others if you like it.
I would LOVE for them to add an option to sort through the automatic "don't touch anything" levels so I never have to play them again. I admit they're cool to watch once or twice but in my last 100 Mario challenge half of the levels just required me to not touch a button. I want to play this game, not watch it.
I think people are probably more willing to go all download in this day and age. First of all, the millions of mobile phone gamers are already used to download-only games, and many other gamers are following suit.
Have all of the games in the bundle been released in all regions? If some of the games haven't been released in the eShop in some regions that could help explain why this was only available in the Anericas.
I much preferred "dolls". I have to assume that the change was made because there is the impression that western males are afraid of being emasculated and playing with "dolls" would somehow do just that. I'll probably continue referring to them as dolls because I'm comfortable with my masculinity and sexuality.
