Nintendo's purple trouble-maker Waluigi will be receiving his very own PowerA Enhanced Wireless Controller on 4th June.
It'll set you back $49.99 USD, and will include all the usual features such as Bluetooth 5.0, a rechargeable battery - lasting up to 30 hours per charge, mappable buttons, embedded anti-friction rings for smooth thumbstick control, a USB-C charge cable and a two-year warranty.
As noted in the product description this controller does not support HD rumble, IR, amiibo or NFC. Here's a look:

Dang. Almost tempting. I love my Super Mario Bros 3 version though!
Waluigi is more recognized by PowerA than Nintendo.
He had daddy issues.
Tempting since I need a controller, and so I could be accepted in the Waluigi for smash cult.
A headline on flipboard said this was ugly
Damn I want it. My boy looks good on this controller. Always mad I never bought his amiibo when I had the chance in store for msrp.
That's actually really cool, there aren't a whole lot of controllers out there for Waluigi fans. This fills a niche.
Ok I really want this.
Welp, this confirms it. Waluigi coming to Smash in June confirmed. He will be announced during Nintendo's E3 stream. 😉
Ya know, I've been thinking about getting a new controller...
The bottom of the controller should have been colored indigo blue just like Waluigi's pants but they colored it yellow instead, this feels more like a Wario controller instead...
My Waluigi shrine will finally be complete!
WAH
This thing has been out for a while now. I recall seeing it at an EB Games here in Canada around this time last year.
Got one of these controllers when the only two I could find were Pokemon themed, and I went with the Shield one.
@WoomyNNYes It has motion control. Only the wired PowerA pads don't.
Fans: "We want to play SSBU using Waluigi!"
PowerA: "Say no more"
Flippin' heck, that's gorgeous.
First time I've been tempted to get a third party controller for Switch.
But lack of HD rumble is really disappointing. Does this mean no rumble at all?
Finally some Waluigi news.
Ice Climbers and Waluigi is my top 2 favourite Nintendo characters.
No "HD rumble, IR, amiibo or NFC." <- Sadly a common thing for 3rd party controllers.
If its available in the UK I'm buying it
@WoomyNNYes
Let's be honest. Not every Switch game has good motion controls.
The Power A controllers are excellent for games that don't need rumble. I'll add this one to my collection.
I’m late, but queue “Waluigi in Smash” comments...
That’s an ugly looking controller, it’s fitting I suppose.
Waluigi sucks, he doesn’t even have a proper name, should be something like wuigi
Are these Power A controllers any good? They seem like the only decent alternative to the much more expensive Nintendo offering.
Good, Waluigi gettin' some love finally.
@nhSnork LOL, that was good
@Clammy Waluigi comes from combining the Japanese word "warui" (bad/foul/evil) with "Luigi". L and R are phonetically very similar in Japanese language, and L doesn't occur natively, it's really only when borrowing words from romanized languages where it comes into play. The "rui" sound is in both "warui" and "Luigi", hence the name Waluigi.
Wait, IT'S REAL??!?!?
Hmm. I think I'll pass, but go Waluigi fans I guess.
@Dpullam Wait. There's a Super Mario Bros. 3 controller?
@Fujimoto-San Yep! I got it at my local Walmart!
@Ventilator "finally some Waluigi news"!!
NintendoLife should make a special section for it.
@Dpullam Sweet! I'd love to get my hands on one of those, so I'll be keeping an eye out. Thanks!
@N64-ROX Yeah.
Got the Animal Crossing Power A controller to replace my 8BitDo SN30 Pro, which was a replacement for a Nintendo Pro that succumbed to drift.
They're nifty little controllers. Super light and have a nice hand feel. Downsides are lack of rumble and reliance on AAs (though some might see this as an advantage, I use rechargeables).
They have some really nice designs and are often discounted if you play the waiting game. In no rush for a new one, but this has my fancy tickled.
