There are three guarantees in life: death, taxes, and a Capcom sale every month or two.
@SorridoSnake ...and that they will always be at the same prices
Might finally snap up Ace Attorney Trilogy
Edit: I did
I feel like my complaining helped get you guys to show the 3DS sales and I thank you for showing the 3DS sales again. The 3DS may not get new games, but it is far from a dead console. It was hard to keep up with the 3DS backlog and I still have quite a few games to play on it. I just wish Nintendo would offer sales on their 3DS games now.
I see they didn't put MHGU up on sale, afraid the old gameplay puts people off grabbing Rise I suppose.
Interesting that they didn't discount Monster Hunter Generations Ultimate on the Switch unlike every other Capcom sales, but it makes sense due to MH Rise releasing so soon
I already have the najority of games on both lists, so...
Interesting that they didn’t discount the RE Nintendo switch games.
Anyway I might pick up Phoenix Wright Ace Attorney or DMC 3 SE though
I think I’m finally gonna take the plunge and get Okami and Devil May Cry. I’ve been putting it in for so long but I’m kinda in the mood finally, especially for the latter.
Is it weird that I’m a little tempted by MH4U on 3DS? I know Rise is just around the corner, and I’ve bounced off MH in the past - but I’ve always heard MH4U is the best one...
Anyone know differences between Onimusha Warlords and Genma Onimusha for Xbox?
Not complaining but what’s up with all the sales? Fiscal year?
@Ryu_Niiyama Possibly. Capcom does a lot of sales though.
Oh my goodness. I haven’t had my 3DS out in years!!! Until now, just for the Spirit of Justice sale. It’s so cute and little!!
Edit: and totally forgot I bought the trilogy on 3DS at some point...
Edit 2: Apparently I bought the game some time ago and never downloaded it...
bummed out that Resident Evil 6 on the eshop for the Switch isnt on sale.
But at least Mega Man Zero ZX Collection is marked down a little bit but still a little spendy.
Highly tempted to grab Apollo Justice for that price, but I can wait if it'll go on sale again.
@Lordd_G Onimusha Warlords was the original PS2 version. Genma Onimusha was an enhanced Xbox version. Better visuals (not drastically so doesn't matter these days), more and modified content (new enemies, new weapons and new armors, new items, etc.), modified progression (door X will need a key on one version but not the other, etc.), new mechanic (green orbs that make enemies go berserk or allow you to go invincible).
Can't remember everyting but there was a lot of small enhancements that added up basically. Genma Onimusha was by far the better version, but good luck playing that one today (used to be bugged on X360, not sure if they fixed it since then, maybe it runs well on Series S/X).
Amazing game either way. One of Capcom's best IMO. Pretty short, but a blast from start to finish, and one of the games I've replayed the most through the years. Highly recommended (using d-pad for movement sucks though and sucked even back when it first came out, not sure if the remaster supports the left stick for movement).
Usual Capcom games with the usual Capcom sale. And I still haven’t gotten Okami yet. 😑
That deal on MMX Collection 2 was great, thanks for the heads up!
NINJA APPROVED
If you have even the slightest interest in the Devil May Cry series, I highly recommend the Switch version of DMC3SE. I played through it recently, and it's the best version on ANY system.
Guess I'll have to play Devil May Cry finally...
I was about to celebrate Monster Hunter 3 finally being on sale before I went to the eshop to find it still at 39€ and realized this was for North America....
@Merry_Blind thank your sir. Never had an OG Xbox to play it back then but I remember the commercials where the announcer would emphasize the “Genma” part of the game’s title.
Already have:
Not interested in the rest.
@Krull MH4U is still my favorite overall.
@Lordd_G You're welcome
Just to be clear, if you're interested in the game, don't be discouraged of playing it just because you don't have access to the Xbox version. Warlords is still absolutely worth playing and still essentially the same game.
Capcom brings a lot of new stuff to switch owners but we never get any more RE on switch!!!!!
With the monthly Capcom sale comes my usual recommendation to play the Ace Attorney games. You won't regret it!
Dammit it had to end after March 31, 2021.
Perfect!! I have just bought Phoenix Wright Dual Destinies/Spirit of justice. It was about time...as we don't know the future of 3ds Eshop.
I bought the entire main series ace attorney games on 3ds yesterday for under $50. I played the original trilogy a few years ago on mobile and now I’ll replay those on 3ds and then continue with the other games.
