If a team can make Wolfenstein Youngblood run well, then surely this 2.5D game with MUCH less complicated gfx can run well and look good right???

Don't get me wrong, I love this game and I am glad it is coming to Switch but it seems there is little effort being put in. For being such an old game the LEAST they could do is have the Switch render it in 1080p because it should be MORE than capable. I would have loved to see the remaster instead though. If it were a remaster then maybe 720p would be acceptable.

This is why Crapcom is ridiculous. Release an old game and have and give an ultimatum to expect it to sell as well as a new one and then dangle a new one like a treat in front of the consumer. The only reason I will buy Dragon's Dogma is because I have never played it and only if it is a good port. Not everyone is in that same boat.

If they are going to do this, the least they could do is upgrade the graphical fidelity for the Switch version. The Switch is capable of so much more than this as a Launch title Doom looks far better and so does Wolfenstein 2.

Crapcom sucks now. I would rather see more Monolith and Platinum games instead...or even Square support. Octopath was fantastic, now bring a good Final Fantasy over or even a new Crystal Chronicles.

I could think of worse performance issues than 45-50fps. I am glad they are working on it and may pick this up soon. I have heard it's good.

What happened to unprecedented 3rd party support anyway. The 3rd parties are missing the bus right now because Switch games are selling well. Just look at the Amazon best seller list in video games, it is dominated by switch games and hardware so imagine if the 3rd parties had some switch software in their in addition to what is on the charts. Crash Bandicoot is selling better on the switch than xbox one and ps4 at the moment according to that list at least on Amazon... I trust this list as a good snapshot of overall sales because who goes to gamestop anymore...

There is nothing big on the list and I don't play Pokemon so my year is lame except for Octopath. Luckily I am still clocking Xenoblade hours. I am up to 150 and it has taken me many months to get there. Fantastic game!

Why do people keep saying re-make? I played all of the 80's 90's era games on their respective console with exception of some that were never localized. How about new exclusive games for Switch or multi plat titles?

Xenoblade 2 looks better than this in my opinion and it is running fine on Switch. Stop making excuses for SE. Monolith is far better. Where there is a will there is a way as they say.

@diwdiws Similar graphical qualities just as I would say Ni No Kuni on the PS3 and Ni No Kuni 2 on the PS4 could easily translate to switch. Why are people always so angry on the internet? People are allowed to have opinions.

Visually the xbox and ps4 version do not look that complex. If they can do Dragon Ball then they can do this easily. Just drop the poly count here and there.

That is fine because I am 111 hours into Xenoblade 2 and maybe 60% into the story....SO MUCH CONTENT that I barely have time for. Not that there is anything wrong with that. I just don't mind it not having extra

I love this game! I am 58 hours and only on chapter 4 I think. Which ever one you travel to Rex's home town. I have been doing all DLC content and taking time developing cities and farming crystals. I got Kos-Mos about 10 hours back.

Crapcom is a little bit too slow to respond to demand for my taste.

Just excuses Square Enix. Where is the Square Enix of my childhood. I remember great games coming out of both studios such as FF 6 (3), Chrono Trigger, The old Dragon quest games and many more. SE is mostly a letdown nowadays and hugging Sony's leg... I refuse to buy a PS4 because I have a PC and the only console/portable I play anymore is my Switch. No Switch version = no money to SE for me. I may think about a HIGHLY discounted Steam version but I rarely have time to game much on my PC even if It would look nice on the 1070.

Have you guys played the octopath traveller demo? It's fantastic! It moved it into my top 3 choices. The game is top notch. I love everything about it. Oh and xeno 2 , mario odyssy, wolfenstien, doom, dragon quest builders, skyrim have me excited. I hope other 3rd parties follow suit.

@EDF Smaller user base ONLY because it has been out for under a year but the POTENTIAL user base is quite large. They are missing the boat. Square has a stick up their butt and they have since the 2000's. I have been playing Square games since the NES and it has been since SNES and PS1 that they have truly released something great. If they remove the stick, they may do something worthwhile for once.

Totally understandable considering how long it has been in development for the other two consoles.

This actually looks really cool however I hope there is options for non toy buyers because I don't buy toys AND I hate clutter in my house. I think I will very likely get this if it is good.

To Codemasters: Ya'll are stupid. The Switch is already a success. I'm tired of the dumb attitude besides Ubi. As much as people complain about them, I respect their effort and I supported almost all of their Wii U games. Too bad others did not.
