One game a lot of people would really like to be able to play on Switch is Monster Hunter World. Capcom has already explained how the game was built ground-up for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One, but that hasn't stopped the question from popping up at least once a year on average.
Most recently, at the Japanese company's 41st annual meeting of shareholders, Capcom's management was asked once again if there were any plans to port the latest Monster Hunter title to the Switch. The response to this was an outright "no".
Fortunately, it doesn't necessarily mean we won't see another entry on Switch. In a follow-up question, Capcom was asked if it would consider developing a new Monster Hunter game that's popular with the high school age bracket. The answer to this question was "yes" - although no details were shared.
As Siliconera highlights - Monster Hunter World wasn't quite as popular with the younger video game market in Japan as Monster Hunter 4 and Monster Hunter Generations, most likely because it was restricted to the home.
"logic dictates they’re talking about a game for a portable device like the Nintendo Switch"

I'm down for a new Monster Hunter game for Switch
I played 4U way more than World to be honest, the content was incredible and the 3DS totally suited MH even with the somewhat awkward controls. I’d much rather see a dedicated MH Switch than a gimped port of World.
Monster Hunter Stories 2 please! I'd love to play a good Pokémon style game on Switch!
Capcom says no to monster hunter world on switch.
Capcom says no to Resident Evil 2 and 3 remake on switch
Capcom says no to Resident evil 7 on switch
Capcom says no to Disney afternoon collection on switch
Capcom says no to Street fight V on switch
Do i need to keep going? You suck Capcom! You really suck!
I’ve played MH4U and MHGU for hours on end, yet I can barely get into MHW. I’d love to see a sequel to MHGU, or something along those lines, much more so than MHW port.
It's probably for the better since the game has high hardware requirements.
An exclusive MH on Switch would be well worth Capcoms time. As of now 15.5 million copies of MHW has sold for PS4 and Xbox combined. I’m sure an exclusive Switch release could hit 10 million when its all said and done
That's fine, how about a game built from the ground up for Switch? There's something like 50-60 million potential customers.
If you say that's not enough - you're lying or a fool. Let's say you build a game from the ground up and it only sells 1 million copies. And you only make a profit of 1 dollar per game, are you saying 1 million dollars in profit is too little? I'm talking profit, as in money made after the costs of production.
And 1 million copies is only 1 out of even 50 Switch owners.
And do you really think a new Monster Hunter game, built for Switch, would only sell 1 million copies? It would probably sell 1 million copies in Japan alone in the first month!
I played monster hunter 4u religiously all throughout high school, it's so great that Capcom is making a game for that exact group of people!
Monster Hunter 4 is a MUCH better game than World. My dream is they're developing MH5 for Switch. That'd make them so much money.
Generations was cool but still not as good as 4U.
Stop pretending that everything can be ported to Switch. MHW is a beautiful game having a big open world. It is just impossible to put in to Switch.
4U was just a better MH game for me compared to World...
In World there was way too much running, the maps were too large and complicated (ugh...Coral Highlands...and that stupid tree in the Ancient Forest), and the monster ai were just...annoying sometimes. Not to mention monsters like Diablos were toned down by a lot, I felt like I was fighting Diablos's grandma or something.
If there's one in development, good on them for not leaking it.
If there isn't one in development, there's good business sense for them for not developing one. Capcom has been doing great financially so their management are making sound decisions so far.
What I don't understand is why nothing has been shared on the new Ace Attorney that was announced years ago? At Tokyo Game Show 2018 to be precise.
Capcom says no to putting anything original or new on the Switch.
Shame that people out there say that Capcom is in the "golden age" again, they barely deserve the praise.
I'd much rather play MHGU than World anyway so this doesn't bother me in the slightest. I'd like to see a new more traditional Monster Hunter game built specifically for Switch but unfortunately after the success of World, any new game will probably be more of a casual game like that.
I'm down for a new monster hunter game on the switch.
I never bothered with World. Just from the trailers something felt... off about it. I don't know. Either way I don't really feel a loss if they don't want to port it over. They put so much focus on GRAPHICS that they'd probably have to make far too many compromises to make it work. I'd much rather have something made for the Switch from the ground up. Though I honestly wouldn't be surprised if this ends up being a mobile phone game instead with how willing Capcom seems to have been to make Switch games.
That doesn't necessarily mean it's going to be a switch game, it could be another mobile game or a monster hunter stories remaster
I bought generations but ultimately didn’t like it much. So I’m not bothered about Monster Hunter unless they do something different with it that interests me
I don't blame ppl that cant get into mhw it was hard for me to get into the game don't like it much now, would really want a new one for the switch only.
I might be wrong but I can't think of any new games released by Capcom on the Switch.
Everything from them that we have are ports from old games. Nothing from this gen.
Unless they start to invest more time and $$ on the Switch we will keep having ports.
@Incarna ultimastely though its not enough when so many people claim it to be the best mh game ever but throw in the fact supporters would argue that the 40$ expansion adds plenty of content avoiding the price that is.
I don't play Monster Hunter games, but as i realized some developers / publishers still persistent to not port their games to Nintendo Switch, i have learnt something.
I will not cry or angry or keep pestering a port for Nintendo Switch.
I have learnt from EA situation too for The Sims 4.
I bought the console version that available in the market and it saved my day.
Monster Hunter is popular because of Nintendo. Now they don't take the Nintendo seriously. Greedy Capcom.
Guys, I never play a MH game and I'm thinking about buying this in this sale. Is it worth it for single player? I'm not interested in online
@Zeldafan79 When did they outright say no to any of those other than MH? Just because it hasn't been announced doesn't mean it won't happen.
@tourjeff Ultra Street Fighter 2 was new and exclusive to Switch... Yeah, I went there...
Oh Mega Man 11 was properly new...
@alexybubble
I'd say there's a pretty good chance most of them won't. Though disney afternoon collection is puzzling. I know the switch can handle that one and they were even originally on the Nes. What more reason do they need to port it?
MH4 was incredible on 3DS, but then I couldn't help but feel disappointed when MHGenerations came around. I do keep considering getting Generations Ultimate for Switch though
[insert AAA game company] said no to bring their games to the switch
Seems like Capcom nor Sega don't like money...
New MH for Switch = $$$
Remake HD of Phantasy Star Online = $$$
facepalm
@Varkster - While I wouldn't go as far as to call it a new 'golden era' Capcom have been putting out quite a few good products in the past few years (DMC V, Resi 2 Remake, SFV, Monster Hunter World), it's just that, because the Switch isn't powerful enough to run these games properly, it misses out on a lot of them (Mega Man 11 being the exception). Is this arrangement ideal? Of course not, but just because most games aren't hitting the Switch doesn't mean Capcom aren't putting them out (and it's not like the Switch has a drought of Capcom games full stop, just new ones).
It's about time Switch owners got some 'new' proper AAA physical 3rd party games, maybe even exclusive one's. Instead of being feed four and five year old ports, mostly dumbed down to fit.
@gaga64 lol, yeah SF is going a bit low 😂
And I forgot about Mega Man even though I don't consider that an AAA game.
At least you can say that they have these '' 2'' games as new 😂
I played Monhun World on PC for around 10+ hours, then gone back to Monhun Generation on Switch for then next 600+ hours. I will buy a new Monhun game on Switch day-1 it comes out for sure.
I've recently bought MHGU for the Switch during the sale, and was surprised how easy I could find hunt partners. I played MH3U and MH4U during my University years, invested a lot of hours, good times.
The Arts gimmicks in Generations is less "game changing" than I thought it would be! I would love a new Monster Hunter made for the Switch
I have played World and I didn't like it compared to Generations, Tri etc.
I would much more prefer a new entry with the same mechanics as Generations.
@PretendWorking story proved that Nintendo handheld system + MH = $$$
So yeah.
@FullMetalWesker I would argue that Devil May Cry 5 is the only Capcom game in recent years which blew it out of the park. I played through Remake 2 and I felt as if the game played it very safe, Monster Hunter World felt like a game crafted just to make it out of the niche and create a much more accessible version of an existing franchise (aka. Oblivion vs Morrowind).
Maybe I'm a jaded old gamer but Capcom is far from a "golden age" and their Switch support has been absolutely abysmal. Maybe I shouldn't have expected them to even try porting their games over, but at least develop smaller projects for the system. The current state of Capcom's library on the Switch is just laughable.
A new game would be much better. MHW would be horrible on Switch, IMO. Barely runs on the base PS4/XBO as it is.
That's fine, Switch can't get em all. Monster Hunter 5 for Switch would be great though.
@Varkster
I'm a old (40) gamer as well but I actually think they are in another golden age. I found Remake 2 to be fantastic and better than the original despite missing a few bits. 7 was fantastic as well and 3make was just alright but still enjoyable.
I actually like the design and gameplay of MHW more than the older titles. The bigger world and faster more varied combat is everything to me.
If you're a Nintendo only gamer though, I can see why some would think otherwise. My advice as someone that was Nintendo only (I still am console-wise but rock a powerful pc as well) at one point is to build a cheap PC or get a PS4Pro/5 and try to enjoy everything. You'll have an overall better time and won't miss out as much.
A built for the Switch only MH5 would be fantastic and would probably sell like gangbusters in Japan.
@PretendWorking then you'd add a handheld MH (not world) =$$$$$$$$$$$$
Capcom is just lazy. If games like the Witcher 3 can run on the Switch, so would MHW be able to do it. There is absolutely no reason.
Monster Hunter is juist perfect for the switch.
I also want a new street fighter to appear on the switch.
Well yeah of course as it would be too demanding for Switch to handle, i would rather have a new exclusive MH game to be honest for Switch then a limited port of World.
@TurboTEF I have a gaming PC. Clearly I'm not a Nintendo only gamer given I just said I finished Remake 2.
@Zeldafan79
Remember: Capcom hates money!!
Pretty much an online only game on Nintendo servers ? 😂
I take a new game over a port of a game I already own any day!
@Zeldafan79 MHW is way too demanding for Switch. The RE games and DMC5 are made with the RE engine an engine designed for PS4/X1 and for next gen only, i doubt the Switch could handle it. SFV has exclusivity rights for PS4/PC only hence why its not on X1 either.
Monster Hunter Stories 2
Lets go!
Thank God. Switch would dip a lot in FPS.. sorry I'm with capcom on this one
Looks at my 550 hrs in Monster Hunter Generations Ultimate
Yes, I would want another Monster Hunter game thank you.
Preferably one with zones and flash bombs.
Mission failed , we'll get em next time
Still no? I can see some reasons right now, but the game's really immersive. And If fans are really THAT interested on a Switch version of the game (I would love to see one, too), then a porting company could help Capcom.
That said, maybe Capcom was considering a Switch version, but instead decided to make a new Monster Hunter specifically made for Switch.
Last year, there were some rumors about a new Monster Hunter game, and that it would come to Switch. I would love a Switch-tailored, but please don't target it for a niche audience. Make it worthwhile, the closest thing to MH: World on Switch at least!
That also brings me to mind something like Monster Hunter Stories 2. Well, that would be cool, but I would still prefer a traditional, new MH game.
I've said multiple times that MHGU will be my "swan song" for the franchise. I absolutely loved that game (4U was amazing too!) but those games just ruin my ability to play anything else. It's video game heroin for me. All I want to do is questing (offline and online especially), upgrade my various gear, farm monster(s) to get that final piece to finish the project, rinse and repeat, etc etc etc. It's so much fun yet I completely lack the ability to focus on anything else! I upgraded to the New 3DS XL for 4U and literally bought a Switch for MHGU. In both cases I barely explored any other games until those were completed to a point where it was mostly just cleaning up remaining straggler quests and helping others. I'm approaching 1000 hours in MHGU!
So with all that as much as it would be awesome for Switch to get another entry it's really going to test my will power to stay retired. I just know that if I get it I'll be just how it was for the other games and be a MH "junkie" again. I'm actually nervous about a new game because I know when they start marketing it I'll be getting the sweats and shakes LOL.
Monster hunter 5 same format as 3-4-GU but with voice chat like 3U! Day one purchase! Capcom. You know it makes sense!
@ItsOKToBeOK Are there any non first party titles (and not including the name Mario) that have sold 10 mil?
@Zeldafan79 It'd he super tough to port those to Switch and it might not be worth it
Great MH game, Already own it. I could get it for $15 right now at Walmart if I did not. Zero need for another copy on Switch
Make something new for the Switch.
I’d only consider buying a new Monster Hunter game for Switch if it has the QOL improvements from World. I tried going back to Generations Ultimate after playing World, and it was near impossible getting used to all the old stuff again.
I don't think we'll see any exclusive Capcom games on a Nintendo console ever again.
Not sure why but for some reason Capcom went from supporting Nintendo with exclusive content, to giving Nintendo overpriced old ports, the flip was quick too, from 3DS to Switch.
My guess is that something happened behind the scenes between Capcom and Nintendo. Might not have been an outright falling out but probably some disagreement of some sort.
They use make multiple exclusive games on the 3DS and even the Wii U, their games on the 3DS alone sold over 20m, we haven't had a single exclusive game or even a good current generation game from them on the Switch. Just old ports that are over priced on release.
I wouldn't hold my breath on anything other than old ports.
This is the right call. The Switch is a terrific, but it can't handle a game like this.
@Zeldafan79 Aside from the Disney Collection, the Switch couldn't handle any of the other games. They would play at 5 frames per second and reduce the Seitch to a bubbling lump of molten plastic.
@Razer The thing that happened was Nintendo insists on gimping their consoles with mini disc formats are cartridges or 10 year old technology and Capcom isn't interested in creating more dev teams to develop for two generations ago when they are focused on the next gen.
Third party developers haven't focused on Nintendo since the SNES. Not sure why Nintendo fans haven't figured this out yet.
Played world as my first MH game, enjoyed it. Got generations played about 5 hours of it, couldn't stand the controls, delayed movement, and cubical environments, it was like playing a 3 dimensional game on DOS.
I have little doubt that a proper monster hunter title is coming to switch. They lost a bunch of the Japanese market (millions of copies) with world being a home console exclusive, so I’m sure they’re looking to get them back. And with the American market finally taking the monster hunter franchise seriously, there’s a ton of potential.
MHW will be way too huge for the switch and it can lag, load a lot in the game because of the size if it went on the switch and no matter how hard they try to make it smaller. The Switch already got MHGU, they don't need another one.
Like l said Nintendo always trying to get these big games on the switch even when they always end up with problems. I say, why not just add MH3U and MH4U.
@StevenH Yeah those big games will have problems on a switch. Nintendo needs to wait until they make a new and better console.
@Mr_Persona I agreed
@WallyWest True, so true!👍
@Zeldafan79 no. no, I'm pretty sure the switch hardware is what sucks. Why compromise the game to the point they would have to just to get it running?
At least they say no, unlike Bethesda who keeps stringing along switch owners as if doom eternal is actually ever going to release.
@Ambassador_Kong it took me up until Wii U to finally figure it out. Up until Wii U i was a nintendo only gamer. Man, do i ever regret it. I missed out on so many good games.
My switch lite, which was a gift at that, hasn't been powered on in weeks. I haven't played a game on it since I downloaded Doom II.
I doubt Capcom is just being mean and anti-Nintendo by refusing to port MHW to the Switch; more likely it's the game's PS4/Xbox graphics that didn't translate well to the Switch's mobile-class hardware. I'm pleasantly surprised whenever a PS4 game like Dragon Quest XI makes it onto the Switch, even with graphical downgrades (actually in the case of DQXI my main reason to play it on Switch is because it adds 2D mode which previously was only available on 3DS in Japan!)
That being said, Monster Hunter thrives on handhelds, so I expect we'll see another Switch iteration – it just won't be Monster Hunter World (which is actually an excellent game, just not handheld.)
yes..... and it's overdue!
I was super excited to play MHW, even though I already had MHGU on both 3DS and Switch, but in the end... I ended up not even playing MHW half as much as MHGU. After the Franchise went mobile on 3DS, it just didn't make sense to play it on a home console, I'm not sure why but that's just my feelings about it. I really don't want to see another MHW game, but would like to see another MH: Stories on switch as well as a new core entry on switch.
MHW is the kind of game that is only a lot more fun with friends. It doesn't really tailor itself to single player nearly as well as 4 Ultimate or Generations. If it came to Switch I probably wouldn't pick it up again seeing as how it's practically a perfect fit for PC as is
@Zeldafan79 I actually do think the Resident Evil games and DMC 5 will be coming over soon. Remember the E-Shop related strings in RE 3make? Also, why would they have bothered bringing over the masses of RE & DMC games, only to not capitalize on the new fans? And if Doom Eternal and Witcher 3 can run on one Switch, I think RE engine games can. I know that different engines have different requirements, but from what I've heard, the RE engine can work on decently low specced computers.
Having played through MHW quite thoroughly including the Iceborne expansion (though not nearly as thoroughly as I played MHGU), I don't care whether they port MHW to Switch or not at this point. I will add another point in favor of seeing a new MH game built from the ground up for Switch.
One of my biggest memories from the SNES era was SF2. At the time it was huge in the arcades as well. Fast forward to today, Capcom where are you? As a Nintendo fan, I miss you.
@Duncanballs those were the days when Nintendo made hardware that was on par or better then their rivals. I miss Nintendo's glory days of exclusive first party games and great third party games.
@Zeldafan79 Honestly, can you blame them? The switch is underpowered and Capcom has been pushing the envelope with many of their new offerings. Why sell themselves short? I personally would like a monster hunter game developed for the switch but unfortunately (for switch owners) Capcom has been pushing the limits for their games recently.
Just to be clear i want a new MH on Switch, having MH on the go is something i loved about the 3DS games as i could play anywhere, i recently got MHGU in a sale a few weeks and it reminded me what i lost with Worlds and that's the portable side. All that said though Capcom doesn't need Nintendo, MHW is the biggest Capcom game ever and has been printing money for them ever since release and when Iceborne came out, that shows that MH is no longer a niche series confined to an Nintendo handheld, not only that but the RE remakes have done well and so has DMC5, i expect RE VIII will do very well as well especially if that amazing trailer is anything to go by. I want Capcom to still make games for Nintendo consoles but sadly right now they don't need to.
Monster Hunter World has great graphics, good action sequences and great monsters to hunt....but it lost all the charm that previous monster hunter games have. Even multiplayer, what's the point of that lobby room when no one is there? also no one joins your hunts unless you send a flair, the party disbands after just one quest????Do you know how many internet friends I made in MH3 alone???? That was the best community! I logged in, join a server with 1-3 people in it and we talked, hunt, we took breaks without logging off, we hunt, we helped each other out. World you either hunt by yourself or send a flare if you want to hunt with people, and yet after the hunt everyone leaves.....so what's the point in playing multiplayer then? I might as well just hunt solo. World sucks I'm confident the portable team will fix that
@Zeldafan79 hmm nah they’re pretty good actually.
@BlackenedHalo
Yeah, after reading a few of these comments now, I don't think too many people are hung up on that. Most honestly don't seem to care. Anecdotally even outside oh here, most people I know big into MH seemed to like the older games quite a bit more. They certainly applaud the graphics of MHW, but seem to enjoy & spend more time on the older titles more. It's certainly not that big a deal to most it seems lol.
@Shiro28 Maybe the drop rates where different in the past, or jewels where easier to get, have you ever tried farming attack gems? I got 1 after the initial one they gave you in the 800 hours I put into the game. That with weekly quests you need to stock up on supplies, the people who join your quest just to sit back at the camp and walk away from their controller, or the consistent booting of players from quests (because of survivability) is the reason why people don't sit around taking breaks or disband after one quest, a lot of people where in a rush to get into the good events, if they didn't have the proper gear, they where either left behind (with no idea if the event was coming back) and that made the community the way it is. That or the consistent begging of all the newer players who couldn't put 1+1 together made people isolate themselves.
The generation you grew up with is gone now, I hope you enjoyed it. Either way world did not suck, I was fun jumping on monsters crawling around and taking them down, being able to last second dodge a huge attack from a monster while your hurt teammate megapotioned, or running around the map letting with monsters fight each other and finishing them off because of your lower level gear.
I may be in the minority here, but I'm glad they're not trying to cram World onto the Switch. The base PS4 can barely run the game as is.
@SpaceKaren it's like looking into a mirror. I was a Nintendo fan until the WiiU and Nintendo's lack of respect for their fans turned me off. Bought a PS4 instead of a Switch and have been catching up on a ton of awesome games. Got a Switch lite during the pandemic but honestly don't see why everyone is so enamored with it. It's a showcase of all Nintendo's design arrogance and antipathy of its userbase. Underpowered, cutting edge design for twenty years ago, and a selection of first party software that had me wondering what happened to Nintendo hard.
It's okay but certainly not deserving of all the praise it gets.
Bring Monster Hunter 6 Capcom, exclusive on Switch. You can port it on PS5 after
@nessisonett totally agreed, base it on the older structure and design. Spruce up the areas and add effects suitable to Switch. The memory bump compared to 3DS might let them go open world (a few loading corridors perhaps), but if not, just using the feature set of Switch on smaller areas will make for an immersive experience. Perhaps add weather/event variation to alter areas depending on monster or time of day/season. For instance Flooded forests could actually flood over time in heavy rainfall, or dry out in summer revealing alternate routes and supporting different monsters. There's literally hundreds of ideas Capcom could introduce to keep the game feeling fresh.
@RPGamer MHW is the "beginner friendly" version of this series.
@Ambassador_Kong Is there another cutting edge handheld that runs the kind of games Switch runs that sells for $300? Sure there's GPD Win and the like for $1k. Not exactly the same class or price point. I can understand "I don't like handheld gaming and care about cinematic experiences", and I can understand "I have tons of extra money and am willing to pay any amount of money to get the best available, which is much better than Switch". But I can't understand not seeing what's appealing about a commodity priced baggable console that runs lots of current and last gen console games in a half inch thick slate.
I agree with some of the comments saying make a MH for the Nintendo Switch specifically maybe.
The Wii U and 3DS games were great. Just continue the Nintendo support here please?
Can someone ask them about bringing more Ace Attorney games to Switch?
@Zeldafan79 do you now why? it wouldnt run on the switch getting really tired of people thinking the switch is as powerful as a PS4 because its not. it would take too much work to downsize all the nos. why do you want EVERYTHING on the switch? like its ok to have more than one system!
@dimi dream on
@Ambassador_Kong exactly! i love my switch i play my couch games and have a PS4. its like these switch bots wont let their mommys let them have more than one system let alone a PC! like MY GAWD! oh no!
@blecch being mean? oh no i hope that mean bully at school didnt take your lunch money! im so sorry!
Yeah, ok Capmon ಠ_ಠ
@NEStalgia I don't care if the Switch is "technically impressive" for a handheld. I only care that it isn't powerful enough to run the games it is attempting to run well. This is exactly what happened with the Vita. It was not powerful enough to provide console gaming on the go and ended up being the loli / shovelware indy console before limping to an early grave. Nintendo is notorious for their gimped consoles which are generations behind and I really don't care to defend this practice with the excuse "but it's portable."
But I could forgive the lack of raw horsepower if Nintendo was designing great games. Unfortunately, Nintendo games have become highly derivative of their past and all of them play like baby's first game with zero challenge. I just played through Super Mario Odyssey and felt the game was way too easy for it's own good. Nintendo has gone downhill in game design over the last 20 years. How you go from Ocarina of Time to a shell of an unfinished game like Breath of the Wild is a mystery to me.
@Ambassador_Kong On the hardware front my disagreement if stronger than on software.
For hardware it's nothing like vita. Vita was truly not powerful enough to run actual console games. It was just psp2 with a fancy name. Switch can and does run real console games. Not current gen that well which is fine. If portable devices were as powerful as stationary devices, the idea of stationary devices would be obsolete. But it can run pretty much anything from last gen.... Which is truly a first for a portable console. If they're were a superior competitor behind hobby grade enthusiast price self imported stuff like the GPD, I'd own it. But there isn't. Switch isn't a PS4 competitor, it's a handheld home console monopoly. It's a more powerful PS3 that fits in your bag. There's nothing at all to sneer at there. Sure outer worlds runs dodgy, but dragon's dogma remastered, saints row, DQXI (current gen!) Run great. The hardware delivers on the promise. There's also no reason mhw wouldn't run on it, technically. The engine is pure garbage and runs like trash on ps4 pro and x1x, too. The failure here is capcom and their choice of terribad engines that sucks on pretty much everything. (Iown it on pro and x1x.... It behaves best on 1x.... But still stutters too much. That's just sad.... The maps aren't even that large.
Software i can agree nintendo has behind too derivative. I disagree that a game that's easy can't be fun, and it that odyssey wasn't balanced in difficulty. Long time gamers get jaded. Add you skill ceiling rises you expect the game to keep up in challenge, and that's not the role of a games. Nintendo makes general audience games, and "nintendo hard"was accidental, not intentional. And that's fine. I also think ocarina gets to much rose tinted glass views. It was also half finished in many areas, and was also derivative. It was more or less Link to the Past 3D. But it seemed so new. It's a product of it's time.
@Fido007 yeah I agree on some points, specially the one where low level hunters were always in need of help, but that was part of the fun. you help each other achieve the objectives. I got a lot of help form high rank hunters, and most of them were nice people. when I beat the online, I concentrated in collecting every possible weapon. I help low rank hunters from time to time, you know, it was fun hunting with other people and befriend them and stuff. And yes I jumped the gun when I said World suck. The game definitely is good, but to me it lacks multiplayer drive, what I mean is, it doesn't push me to join other people's quests, except when it comes to Arena quests. But as you said, the generation is gone, I wish I could have enjoyed it more. I still pay world but I don't join quests and no one joins my quest, even if it's open. We'll see how the next Monster Hunter game will be
@Incarna Geezus, Finally a True Hunter I totally agree and this coming from someone who bought a xboxone just to be disappointed by the water down version , high graphic eye candy. To be fair they did want to cater to new players so i guess is ok. But we do need a real Monster hunter now on the switch =;D
@SupaWaluigi Why is that??? Generations is incredible, dont get me wrong love 4U, especially after they added the new sweet combat art styles giving weapons diffrent combos, it made me use weapons i never found fun before. not to mention it had every region from old monster hunter series plus one if not the biggest library of monsters to date even Worlds didnt come close to this much content =:3
@Ambassador_Kong Um....You are extremely wrong I dont even believe you have even played any of those games at all =
@Zeldafan79 Resident Evil 7 is on cloud on Switch and Japan. Also all these "nos" are reasonable.
