Don't mind downloads for smaller games, say, under 5gb. Problem with downloads is, eventually, they can be removed from eshop/ps store and if u dont store them on console hard drive indefinitely ... You've lost em... Forever! High price to pay for something that isn't actually yours n that u can't resell! Not to mention the fact that games on PSStore tend to be £10-£15 more expensive to download for some baffling reason!
@Kage_88 Exaggerating??? Fatal Frame is sitting at 66%. Ninty (who were already in enough trouble) have delayed all big releases to next year... They can Ill afford a zelda... Spin off or not... To be getting reviews as low as 40%. Metal Gear PP is at 95%. Kirkby Yarn was a Wii game, released 6 years and Yoshi was nowhere near as good. You might be happy with big Nintendo franchises getting "fair" reviews... I'm not. In a climate where whole Dev teams can be fired for 1 flop, and given Nintendo's current reputation, they need games to be GREAT!

Was really looking forward to this and Fatal Frame and both are subpar!! Fatal Frame was third party but for Nintendo to taint Zelda, it's most treasured franchise with this half baked trash is unforgiveable.... Given the big games coming out on PS4/X1 over the next 4 weeks, ninty really NEEDS to give its loyal fans a reason to keep playing. . . They seem more n more out of touch with each release. Course it's a sequel and it's certainly a better game than 1. Started playing 2 again last week and it's just as incredible as I remember... So many different styles and nice uses of the wii mote... Each level offers something different. Really is a masterpiece. Looking at the wii back catalogue.... It's really quite sad that it's not remembered more fondly... There's cracking games from every genre!!
My heart says SNES World.... But after starting galaxy 2 again 2 weeks ago... It has to be that. 25 years of gaming experience fine tuned and refined to a glorious celebration of all things Mario. . . Complete with new mechanics and incredibly realistic gravity system. Wow!!!
I was really impressed and so excited when I first saw this on my mates imported jap N64... The graphics blew me away. Hasn't aged nearly as well as the SNES version. The jerky graphics make it a hard game to go back too. A lot of N64 games don't play as well as I remember.... Going back to Goldeneye really wrecked my fond memories... Really is an atrocious looking game!
Amiibos are a scandalous, cynical cash cow created to fleece money out of kids and unsuspecting parents by a company who really should know better. Your average Nintendo, posable action figure toys don't exactly fly off the shelves... So we'll make rigid, unposable models... TONS of them... Pretend it does something useful with a miniscule amount of DLC (which would retail on its own for bout $0.50) and... bingo.... The kids ll be hooked! Why can't it just be about the games like the old days??!!

Snes for me. Up all night or Sunday sessions of SNES battle mode track 4 were great. . . as were the tight tracks and skilful gameplay. How bout a "normal", back to basics console thats as powerful as present tech allows it to be and with a framework that is in tune with 3rd party devs so we don't get the " Wii U's architecture is too tricky to create games for" crap.

This is stupid. Nintendo made a decision not to include any reasonably sized storage. . . so gave us external HD support. There's no prob here. Release game - people that have basic model will buy a £5 flash stick to play it! Other companies release larger games on eshop!

Can't believe it!!! Fatal Frame 4 on Wii had a patch developed that worked a treat. Maybe same kinda thing could be used here ..... although the patch took bloody ages to be developed and released. I'm hoping this aint true!!
Whoa, whoa , whoa!!! Something really fishy about having to own the 3ds version of the game to only use the 3ds as a controller on Wii u! If u wanted local multiplayer on Wii U with 4 3ds owning friends you'd need 5(!!!!!!) copies of the game!! Surely integrating the 3ds as a controller would be/should be as simple as a dlc programme to install on your 3ds to make it compatible!!!
Sorry but that is NOT what I meant when I insisted the 3ds shoulda had dual analogue. A tiny analogue nub???!!!?? Why not just give us dual circle pads. They continually revise these things and get it wrong time n time again. This fragmentation is appalling and unforgivable in the console industry.
Not sure if I like the sound of this. Too many changes. Enjoyed Link Between World's but on second playthrough I realised the new item purchasing was rotten. I like stumbling through a dungeon and trying to guess which item will be hiding in a chest somewhere. To be able to complete the game without having to use ALL items just isn't Zelda.
Nintendo should have a ROM/emulator service instead of VC. Dump every ROM from NES to N64 (without having to adapt it for VC) and provide the correct emulator and charge £1 a ROM. Cheap to do from Nintys point of view and real service at an apt price for customers.

This is stupid. Nintendo made a decision not to include any reasonably sized storage. . . so gave us external HD support. There's no prob here. Release game - people that have basic model will buy a £5 flash stick to play it! Other companies release larger games on eshop!

Damn..... The last Nintendo mag! Really sad day. Been buying this since the appallingly named Nintendo Magazine System. Guessed it was coming though coz the site wasn't exactly up to date recently. Ive been downloading my copy from Zinio. Can't believe I'll never look forward to another issue.

Can't believe it!!! Fatal Frame 4 on Wii had a patch developed that worked a treat. Maybe same kinda thing could be used here ..... although the patch took bloody ages to be developed and released. I'm hoping this aint true!!

Whoa, whoa , whoa!!! Something really fishy about having to own the 3ds version of the game to only use the 3ds as a controller on Wii u! If u wanted local multiplayer on Wii U with 4 3ds owning friends you'd need 5(!!!!!!) copies of the game!! Surely integrating the 3ds as a controller would be/should be as simple as a dlc programme to install on your 3ds to make it compatible!!!

Sorry but that is NOT what I meant when I insisted the 3ds shoulda had dual analogue. A tiny analogue nub???!!!?? Why not just give us dual circle pads. They continually revise these things and get it wrong time n time again. This fragmentation is appalling and unforgivable in the console industry.

Not sure if I like the sound of this. Too many changes. Enjoyed Link Between World's but on second playthrough I realised the new item purchasing was rotten. I like stumbling through a dungeon and trying to guess which item will be hiding in a chest somewhere. To be able to complete the game without having to use ALL items just isn't Zelda.

Nintendo should have a ROM/emulator service instead of VC. Dump every ROM from NES to N64 (without having to adapt it for VC) and provide the correct emulator and charge £1 a ROM. Cheap to do from Nintys point of view and real service at an apt price for customers.
