All for retro flash carts. Especially when considering the pricing of 25 yer old games. Very happily play full romsets on emulators on Wii U with no guilt whatsoever.

Really enjoyed Majoras Mask but at the time I remember thinking its not a game I would ever want to play again. Slightly too many quirks for my liking n its all a bit of a chore remembering who's around and at what time.

Best in the series.... A 3ds version would suit me. Revelations is a very handsome title on 3ds.... GC remake could really play to the 3ds's strengths.

Yeah.... On "vwii." Everything works from the Wii homebrew channel. . . been around for quite a while now. Really Cool ... U can use gamepad as screen for all homebrew apps.

My first console. (Im 36) . Just completed Wonderboy in Monsterland yesterday on Smsplus on my WiiU.... Rock solid.... Can't believe anyone could complete it without relying on save states!!! Rastan, Shinobi, Psycho Fox, Gangster Town, Fantasy Zone .... All still rather playable today.Great console.

It is fruitless. U can't stop illegal downloads. If I was a pirate who had his internet blocked.... I'd simply stroll into Starbucks n use their internet.

Um .... No .... Because Its not portable (mine can't even make it past doorway never mind into bedroom), its not touch capcative = HUGE drawback. U can't store fave cartoons on it. I like the gamepad but my Nexus 7 buries it when it comes to entertaining my son ... and beats it in every other category apart from ... Um ... playing Wii U games.

HAS to be A Link to the Past. Just a completely gripping story packed with every emotion AND the structure hasn't been changed (until the Wii U version allegedly). Hadn't played anything like it... used to race home from school to continue the mammoth adventure. That's the thing with Ninty.... U get experiences rather than just games. Had a Megadrive too ... But u just didnt get gripping pageturners like ALttP or Super Metroid on other systems.

God of War 3 on PS3 was best in series. The incredible visuals n design were watered down for Ascension.... If they had ignored spending time on multiplayer and created an incredible solo experience fans would be happy. They didn't .... They tarnished a legacy, sales were poor and members of the dev team were rightly laid off... All because some dimwit wanted to include a pointless multiplayer. I wouldve liked resi 5 a lot.... If it was just Leon in solo game without having to babysit Shiva. Dead Space 1+2 were both far superior to 3 ... WITH NO CO-OP!!!

Please not co-op.... My fave franchises, Dead Space and God of War were ruined with co-op. Single player in Dead Space 3 suffered and main campaign in God of War Ascension wasn't up to scratch as devs were spending time n resources to include multiplayer. Co-op Zelda doesn't sound necessary at all.

I'm guessing the reason Mario Kart 8 doesn't offer separate screens/streams to gamepad and tv (what possible reason would Ninty have for not including this) as opposed to the tv mirroring they opted for, is that the Wii U simply isn't capable of pumping out separate streams of Mario Kart. For the first time we have 2 separate screens (something I've wanted since the SNES game).... And Ninty decide to give us split screen on an already small gamepad display. Baffling.

Very much ahead of its time in the 90's with the cinematic production and fluid, rotoscoped animation .... Sure lots of kids today will wonder what the fuss was about.

Nothing for me here .... Nothing!!!! Have a long wait for Wooly Yoshi and Zelda .

Displaying the same screen on gamepad and tele is far easier to do do than pumping out two separate streams. Combined with the level of detail in MK8. ..which must be close to the max of what the Wii U is capable of ... I think it must be too much of a strain on the circuits! There is simply NO reason not to accommodate this functionality if it were possible.

Why does the gamepad get such a bad rap? .... Its comfortable and works. Yes, the uses so far haven't been great... ZombiU was the best use and a very enjoyable game. Given that Mario Kart 8 doesn't even have separate screens for local multiplayer (like in Black Ops 2) ... I'm guessing the Wii U isn't powerful enough to pump out 2 screens of MK8 at once which is disappointing. The WiFi distance is also appalling. Apart from that its great.

Zelda HAS to be like the tech demo!!!! Please!!!!!???

Stunning game... Love playing it with my son .... and a free game too... We chose Pikmin 3!!! An absolutely charming delight!!! Never played a Pikmin game before. Highly recommend it (unless you've not got Wind Waker yet!!!)

I was in the top 1500 World at War players.... Not that impressive until u realise the top 1000 were cheaters with 99999999 kills and 0 deaths. Gonna miss it and Mario Kart 2. The release of Wii Mini looks rather sinister and calculated now.

Can't wait for this but not separating pad and TV for local multiplayer is shocking!!! A flagship franchise NOT utilising the main feature of their flagship console is completly unacceptable..... It CANT be an over site ... Wii U must've struggled to chug out seperate signals for this game!

I love games from Big Fish inc Ravenhearst on my Nexus 7. Part of my bedtime routine. Great for a £1.50 on Android .... Prob doesn't provide value, look or play well on 3ds.

Great game. Not for everyone and young gamers today probably wont "get it" without nostalgia tinted specs! Very trial and error and lasts about 25 mins from start to finish.

Do Naughty Dawg keep churning out the same thing???? They did .... until they took a bold step and bravely created a new IP ...... TLOA ... was only the biggest success of last year!!! My most beloved game of all time now prob!!!!! Come on Ninty

A grisly Dead Space type with a Metroid design sounds like a winner!! Wish they'd shock us and give us an adult game. Had my Wii u 18 months and only adult themed one has been ZombiU.

Shocking fan service.... Ninty harped on and on bout asymmetrical gameplay ... and don't integrate it when they can..... I'm not even talking about online ... just make it possible for 2 local players to enjoy!!!! But no. Its little things like that, that would give the doubters a reason to still believe in Ninty!!!

Cracker... Oh .. . that pesky Tyrant on the plane!!! Almost gave up. I'd love an original, old style, traditional Resi on current or last gen console. . . complete with pre rendered graphics and tank controls (which were never all that bad after the quick turn was introduced and made the game more tense.) GC remake still my fave in the series. A boy can dream.

The original still handles like a dream. I miss the short tight courses of the SNES version. If u master it, its a dream to play. Rainbow Rd at 150cc ..... Wow..... Even if your last with 1 lap left u can reach the front if your skillful enough.

Hardly surprising when Yoshi is released to rotten reviews..... That was one more title they couldn't afford to slip up over.... They did!!!! So few 3rd party games ..... They have to nail EVERY first party one!!! If Ninty can't justify owning a console from their own franchises.... it will start looking even grimmer!

Can't remember Sega's last stellar title. Everyone of sonics last few games have been below average at best. Don't know what happened to their quality control but they don't really come across as particularly talented/conciencous devs and are only too happy to charge kids full price for the inferior experiences they create!

Meh. The SS art art style worked because it was in SD. Everything looked like a swirling portrait from a distance. Still not as good as the Wii U Zelda spider demo!

PS ... Have u even played DKCTF? U don't have option to turn off gamepad.... If u play it on TV the gamepad switches off automatically!

Lol... Gamepad wouldn't work as an accessory! As soon as u make it an accessory ... Few developers would touch it due to fragmentation... Too risky for devs! Seen it with PS Move (7 compatible games or something).... With Wii - motion controls were a necessity so thats why it was successful. Loved Zombie U and WW HD that really benefitted from pad. Need some more creativity from Ninty..... Sure well get something soon.

Gamepad support is available in Wii mode. . . Obviously using gamepad as monitor and Nunchuk n Wiimote for most games. Can't use gamepad for games designed for motion obviously!!

Its a question without meaning???? Buy VC games on Wii U. . . . Play them on TV or Gamepad!!! What else is an option?

Sure they could do it as a DLC update. Just a tweak here n there. Same graphics n game... Just balance out the characters abilities.

PS ... "Without rubber banding" ...... This is the ultimate game for rubber banding.

Come on!!!! Update this with online. No bells or whistles.... Just 8 Player online of original Mario Kart!!! I'd pay £25 for that!!!! Come on Ninty..... Bit of fan service please!!!!!

No.... I'm saying they owe us stuff for unfulfilling THEIR promise of 3rd party support! I'm not asking for new free games..... I think as a token of appreciation for OUR SUPPORT (I know many Wii U owners who wouldn't have bought one if they knew about the games drought), a few free 12yr old games wouldn't be too much to ask.

I don't know why Nintendo aren't giving these games away for free or charging £1 for them. No third party support, a slow trickle of 1st party games - after Mario Kart when's the next big release??!! They've really not done enough to reward the people who are sticking by the most under supported console in years. Yes.... It won't make as much money for Ninty but giving Nintendo diehards a console with only a handful of good games is completely unacceptable!!!! I had a look on eShop yesterday and some of the Wii U launch games are still full retail price?!!???!!! £40 for a 16 month old game!!!!! Scandalous!!!!

I had a look yesterday n was totally gobsmacked!!! Some Launch games on eShop were still full price. Why? Darksiders 2 price has came right down at retail!!!! Why is it still £40 in eShop!! Its 16 months old!!!!!

I think these games companies shouldn't be charging full price for crap like this..... There should be an independent review board.... If a games average is under 70% ... It goes straight in the bargain bin.... Why should u pay full price for an inferior experience!! Devs might opt for a tad more playtesting and quality control if that was the rule, instead of fleecing kids.

This is downright shocking from Ninty. The production team deserve the boot! Yoshis Island is a well loved franchise.... Is this what they call fan service? At a time when their stock has never been lower they NEED to release quality ..... They don't!!!!! Completely unacceptable!!!! I can only hope they raise their game for Yoshis Yarn.

Wish they would integrate online 8 man multiplayer into this. Would be relatively cheap to produce and ratings would go through the roof. How hard could it be to deliver a bit of fan service.

Sneaky way to boost Wii mini sales. pretty shocking decision though.

The twilight hack was only patched if u updated your official firmware ..... Which u never had to do (even to play online!!!)

My Wii U has been hacked for months in Wii mode... Not for piracy ... For homebrew and mplayer media player.

Its getting a few average reviews as well. 82% average isn't exactly Game of the Year material..
. and at this desperate stage in the Wii U life cycle, nothing less than a classic will do.

Of course it didn't boost sales. Its NOT a system seller. They picked a game that we've seen too many versions of recently. A steller Metroid title with a 95%+ average on Metacritic was the only way to sell significant units and boost hardware sales. Just who is making these decisions!!??
