Zombie U is the only one that seems to have created an enhanced experienced.... Was a good (if not great) game! Gamepad integration seems to be too much of a risk for even Nintendo to take... Their flagships (Zelda and Mario) games only have very uninspired uses! Want something creative to play on it! Come on Ninty!!!

Give up on Sonic! The Sega team have completly ruined their legacy with all the crap Sonic games after umpteen attempts!!! The team must be exceptionally incompetent to not even make improvements!!!

They should be refunding the entire cost of the game! Its all getting too much now. Nintendo should release a SNES/Nes/GBA emulator for Wii U And dump EVERY Ninty published game to download for free! Wouldn't cost them anything in production (ignore gamepad compatibility)! Sounds extreme but would boost hardware sales BUT still wouldn't make up for the trickle of games coming through and lack of "promised" 3rd party support. Sorry but having a NEW 330 quid console with a handful of games is completely unacceptable!!!

While not exactly risky, not sure there's much credibility to be found here. I have a smart phone n tablet n don't mind the odd hidden object adventure or endless runner but have no desire to see ninty characters on it.... I've got a 3ds for that! Playing games on a touch screen is rotten, although android has great SNES,Nes emulators which play great with the dual shock app.... That's not really what ninty would be aiming at! Stick to your guns... If the Big 2014 games don't make a dent in the market... Maybe revise your approach next year!

Maybe Nintendo should honour its fan base by bank rolling the production of these games!!! That "promised" 3rd party support was a massive draw for me (although I was always getting a Wii U regardless)! Still, a Wii U with 10 great games is pretty short change for my initial investment!

Thank love!!! Everything Sega touch turns to crap ... A reverse King Midas if you will!!! U just have to look at what Sega have done to Sonic and compare it to the recent Mario games!!!! Not to mention the fact that Colonial Marines was awful!!!

I don't understand this confusion nonsense!! As soon as the Wii U was announced as a "new console" - I knew it was a new console??!!? A 3 second advert with a Wii U pic and a voice saying "Wii U, the new console from Nintendo" would kinda say it all!!! Its not nearly as confusing as calling Xbox 3, Xbox One!

Great game... Always did slightly prefer Revenge of Shinobi for the boss fights and locations. Still, this will look great in 3d. Will prob pick it up.

This looks frickin crap. Like Resident Evil Mercenaries (which was frickin crap) set in Hyrule. I want the Zelda game showed off in the Wii U tech demo with the big spider!!!!!

Sublime! Feel sorry for those experiencing it now with video gaming moving on so fast it prob won't have the same impact. This was the first truly great Zelda, an epic masterpiece. Back in the 90s, to a 12 year old boy, this was an incredible experience. Hadn't played anything like it at the time. Used to rush home from school to continue the quest. Loved exploring the dungeons and finding new gizmos. Enjoyed Link Between Worlds but after pondering for a while I prefer the good old chest way of finding new items in each dungeon rather than renting them. Perfection!!!

From my point of view I can dip into classic games like Mario World/Mario Kart/ALttP/Super Metroid and enjoy the experience as if it was almost new to me... They've barely aged a day. On the other hand I dip back into Sonic and get bored after 10 mins.

Meh. 8 is pretty generous! Was overrated back in the day, not a patch on Mario World and hasn't aged well at all.

Can't see Nintendo abandoning its small Wii U fan base by aborting it. . . these are the diehards who have supported them all these years. Gotta say, Ive been disappointed with the games trickling through at snail's pace BUT 3D World has vindicated my Wii U purchase .... Its a glorious celebration of all things videogame and a joy to play!

Not my cuppa tea (hate turn based - is there anything more unnatural than LETTING something attack u), but its a great Xmas for Ninty systems ... Totally puttin the next gen to shame!!

The connection signal from Wii u to gamepad is pathetic.

Off screen play is irrelevant ... Most families have a tele in every bloody room these days! The gamepad looks smart but finding ways to apply functionality to games in a way that actually improves the experience is the hard part. Zelda WW and ZombiU are the only 2 that seem to enhance the overall experience! ZombiU in particular, just couldn't be played on any other system. We need more games like that!

"Months of top-notch entertainment"!!!??? Um, I've had 3 weeks entertainment from my Wii U in a whole year. Zombiu, mario n Wind Waker only games I liked at all on Wii U, ignoring inferior multi platform ports which I have on PS3 anyway. Sorry but Ninty made a dreadful mistake releasing a console which they couldn't support themselves. We get delayed drips and drabs for a year and most of the games have been underwhelming to say the least. Regardless, I'm hanging onto mine hoping things pick up soon.

I'm more than happy with a Wii U and PS3... I couldn't care less bout incremental graphical improvements ... If games never looked better than The Last of Us, GTA 5 or God of War 3 I wouldn't care! That's enough for me!

Wow!!! Better than OoT 3d .... That's a bold claim!!! Can't wait! Part of me wishes they released this on both 3ds and Wii U. A Wii U version could've really improved U sales leading up to Xmas ... what, with Mario 3D World being the ONLY game I would buy for Wii U!

Ninty will always be fine ... But what bout the fans. I'm an extremely disgruntled Nintendo fanatic who's enjoyed 2 Wii U games in a whole year. That's not enough for me!!! The 3rd party promise turned out to be BS ... the eshop is sparse!!! The titles at launch were average at best... Although I did enjoy Zombiu! Its pretty grim for me just now.

Pants... another Ninty fumble!!! Releasing this seemed like a desperate attempt to recapture the old Wii crowd n shift more U units ..... At this stage, with all the naysayers, they really had to deliver something impeccable!!! .... They didnt!!! This should've been easy... A simple refinement of a simple game and add an incredible online experience!!! Someone at Ninty is not doing their job, which, at this stage, with so much at stake, is unforgivable!!!

Way too expensive anyway... Should a came free with system. 50 quid for 3 reasonable decent tech demos n umpteen crappy ones is pretty pants value for money.

Rotten concept... Mario Kart minus online (the most appealing feature) = crap!!

This is a series well past its sell by date... Take it out on the pasture n put it out of its misery!! How do these Devs get continual funding when its the same average, uninspired pish they churn out time after time!!

Cave story?? Damrey?? I'll pass .... And dig back into my GameCube Resi collection. Remake of Resi 1 prob my fave... Scarier than Resi 4.

Services to broaden U's appeal might help but a killer title is maybe the only way to salvage it back from the brink pre Christmas... Mario 3D world has to be exceptional .... And I'm not talking like the 3ds version, which is great and earned 90% on metacritic .... unfortunately an average score of 90% isn't good enough now ... It needs a 97-99% system seller! Nintendo know the stakes ... There really isn't any excuse in delivering anything less than exceptional ... as payback to the early adopters for loyalty (nothing on Wii U has interested me this year and mines been gathering dust) as much as to attract new buyers! Games like Super Mario U/ Luigi U, Pikmin 3 and 101 just won't shift units!! ... Hopefully 3D Land will be as incredible as it has to be!!

Loved my Megadrive. Still remember Christmas morn with Golden Axe, Revenge of Shinobi, Altered Beast. Time hasn't been too kind to the Megadrive/Genesis though. . . I couldn't play any of my fave Megadrive games for more than 20 mins these days. Sonic was always over-rated... There were just no gameplay "experiences" like SNES classics Super Metroid, Mario World, Zelda ALttP, Chrono Trigger, Shadowrun, Mario Kart ... All of which still feel fresh today.

Last of Us deserves game of the year over GTA... At a time when most developers are releasing updates of old games (Nintendo too), Naughty Dawg deliver a brand new IP with stellar production values and a real emotional story. GTA is an exceptional game but feels like I've seen it before.

Funny how 2 Zelda's are on it but only one Galaxy... Galaxy 2 was superior in every way!! Still, happy Nintendo are taking over the list!

Mario 64 looks crap now!!! Weve seen Mario in HD... Does the job but doesn't have much of a difference compared to Wii version.... What's the point in having blue ray size capability and not utilising it!! Sure, Mario 2D Land looks "nice"... It looks like a Wii game in HD .... Nintendo have the ability/resources to make it look glorious in HD!!! ... Instead we get a file size smaller than most Wii games AND 3ds games.

Irrelevant as I'll buy disc but disappointed in the small file size. Wish Nintendo would give us a 20GB mario masterwork, completely go over the top with graphics and orchestral score. Not a big difference in Mario Bros Wii and the Wii U version... Why not show what the Wii U can really do!! Hell, GoW 3 came out 3 1/2 years ago, was 40GB and Wii U hasn't came anywhere near the graphics and production of it... Yet! We need a showcase!!!

If Watch Dogs and Batman Origins are the same price on PS3/XBOX360 as Wii U versions, there's no need for this to cost more!! Sheer opportunism!!

Don't know why they can't offer the same gameplay experience as the console (not Wii) version. Obviously graphics will be pared down but u could create a similar version. . . or not ... Given the crappy omission of dual sticks and 4 shoulder buttons (which the vita is guilty of 2)!

Never liked the look of this (action looked like a confusing mess) and enjoyed the demo even less! A below par 79% on metacritic would be a turnoff for lots ... Why invest time and money to create something that's ordinary at best. . . and they wonder why sales are poor ... buck up on quality control and you'll sell more!

Arkham City was incredible!!!! A 2.5d Super Metroid style Batman sounds great on paper. Hope it plays great as the potential is there!

This looks like bollock awful trash. Aimed at kids and easily duped parents who don't read reviews this is a cynical, sinister example of Disney at their worst. . . Adult gamers have no need for this crap. I buy a game, I complete a game and I'm satisfied. I stopped collecting figures when I was 10 ... I certainly have no need to start again ... especially for crazy amounts of cash. Predicting 60-70% reviews... But people will probably shell out anyway.

Tried so hard umpteen times with this one. . . I'm more a Zelda action RPG kinda guy. These FF style games with hit points n powering up bore me to tears. The same animal sniffs u out over and over for a fight. Ni No Kuni was exactly the same. Wanted to love it but CANT STAND turn based crap... Is there anything more unnatural/illogical than ALLOWING an enemy to attack u.

Actually have both on GameCube and the new play versions on Wii. Really bore me .. Can't get into them. Must've tried 7 or 8 times.... Not my cuppa tea.got mad world, bayonetta n vanquish. Vanquish was the only one I saw out to the end. W101 trailer looks awful to me.
