Kind of want Hotline Miami but I can't find any reviews of the Switch version yet. If it doesn't have any silly problems and HM2 has its level-sharing stuff intact then I'm in.

They don't do a great job of explaining how the music is linked to the gameplay. Do I have to keep time, like an actual rhythm action game? Or does it just sort of happen without me while I keep blasting away regardless?

Superhot is the most innovative shooter I've played in years. That said, I kind of got my fill of it on PC so I won't be double-dipping.

Anyone know if the Switch version of HM2 includes the level editor and some way of sharing levels? I got bored of waiting for it on PC but I suppose by now it might be worth going back for...

I probably will pre-order but not for a while yet, just in case news of some undesirable issue comes to light in the mean time.

Good (implied) news about the games but the SNES style 8bitdo controller with all the Switch inputs is close enough for me. Not buying a pad if it's no good for other games.

Currently up to level 43, I think. I haven't spent anything but I did have to use some gems I got free for something or other. Interested to see if I can get right the way through without opening my wallet.

Things is, I like being able to run Switch games on my Switch. I don't really want to sacrifice that to turn it into yet another Android tablet.

Wouldn't mind betting the Switch Lite comes with an optional Link's Awakening pack-in, then.

Well they've just invested a load in putting out another SKU, haven't they? That costs money now but should keep the Switch revenue coming in for longer.

It might be a good game but that is a really terrible title.

This is now my one installed mobile phone game, which is high praise. I don't allow myself more than one or I'd never talk to anyone. DMW has now beaten out Geometry Wars 3D, which I have thoroughly played to death.

Sort of tempted by God Eater but having just learned about the Summer Sale I'll probably go for a heavily discounted South Park: TFBW.

Currently on my fourth playthrough of this. The thing I wish they'd fix is the run timer in standby mode. It just keeps ticking, so you can end up with times of dozens of hours even if the run only took a couple of hours in actual game time.

Still a great game overall, just remember to save and quit when you put it down.

Doesn't quite follow that most of WW Hyrule is 50 metres underwater when the sea level in the village has only increased about 1m. Still, looks similar enough that I can believe it's a deliberate callback.

@Welshland Gah. Well, from my Amazon investigations I gather generic styluses (styli?) sold for use with Android phones, tablets, etc. do work with the Switch, so you can still have the functionality but without the Nintendo branding.

Is this the same Special Reserve that used to sell PCs in the 90s? They sold us one with 128 mb RAM and a Voodoo 2 graphics card. I used to read their catalogue cover to cover.

... that you can get it through the eShop with the limited edition. But when you look there - or at any of the options listed above - it's not explicitly listed.

Does anyone know for a fact what the deal is here?

I hope they don't go mad with the difficulty on these. Slightly harder than the main quest levels would be good but some of those B- and C-sides were a bit too much.

Can't see a lot outside of MM2 that excites me. If Battle Worlds reviews well I might give it a shot, but then if NecroZelda really does come out tomorrow I may be too busy...

What about Super Mario Kart 99? Like SNES mk but with 99 players. Clearly this would be insane to an almost unplayable extent, which is why I'm suggesting it.

The original was one of those well recommended indie games that I just never got around to, so this seems like the perfect way to make up for that.

That's a weird angle for their marketing to take. Basically saying, "Hey, we know everyone hates this franchise but here comes more of it!"

I mean if that's the best you can do with it, maybe it's time for a new IP.

My main hope for this is that part of the promotion is a sale on the Switch version. I liked what I saw in the three hour demo but it still seems like it should be about £20 cheaper.

I think the big game companies would like all games to be streamed by then but I reckon a lot of people's home Internet connections still won't be up to scratch.

If it does happen though, the Switch might have a way longer lifespan than 7 years. All you'd need is to download the streaming app; the hardware is easily good enough already.
