If you're still dancing to the rhythm of the beat weeks after the release of Cadence of Hyrule, you'll be pleased to hear a new update for the game is now available. While the game was actually updated to version 1.0.1. last week, it wasn't until a few days later the patch notes were discovered over on the Brace Yourself Games Discord channel.
While it's not much, it's always nice to see a developer ironing out game bugs to enhance the overall experience.
We had a small bug fix update for Cadence of Hyrule yesterday, containing:
- fixed a crash that could occur after dying in Permadeath Mode (or Daily Challenge)
- fixed an issue that could place wind turbine crates in front of doors in dungeons, blocking progression
More "bug fixes" will be released in the future.

I'm more worried about the Deku Seeds, in some playthroughs I've found 21, while in others only 20. This makes a full inventory impossible to achieve if you're unlucky.
@PBandSmelly Knack? You kids still use that unfunny overused dead meme?
Having trouble accessing the Error house.
I've seen the vids, hopping up on a cliff in Gerudo Valley, but no matter how many times I start a new game, there's no rock face blocking off the left side of the screen as shown in the how-to vid.
Anyone manage to access it a different way? Thank ya
This has been sat on my switch waiting for a day I can play it without distraction with music up... The moon's have aligned (day off in the week, wife in work and kid in school.) That day is today!... Cue my wife with a list as long as my arm to throw a spanner in the works! Get her out the door before she realises.
I’ve moved on to Mario maker but I’ll be back........
I really wish there was an eshop demo for this game. I love the Zelda series but I'm not sure if I would like this because it's a rhythm game.
@Beermonkey lol, I know what that's like.
Currently on my fourth playthrough of this. The thing I wish they'd fix is the run timer in standby mode. It just keeps ticking, so you can end up with times of dozens of hours even if the run only took a couple of hours in actual game time.
Still a great game overall, just remember to save and quit when you put it down.
As much as I respect the company, the problem with naming your ‘Brace Yourself Games’ is it sort of carries with it the expectation that everything you do has to be epic.
When a headline starts with “Brace Yourself Games”, I want it to finish with “UNLEASHES THE APOCALYPSE” or something similar.
There’s something oddly... anticlimactic about reading “Brace Yourself Games releases “Small Bug Fix” For Cadence Of Hyrule”.
Like, I feel it should be a “COLOSSAL BUG FIX”, even if there was nothing much to fix with the game in the first place.
I wonder how often we can expect a Nintendo ip indie game?
Since this one worked so well we might start seeing one every direct?
They are smaller games and many studios want to make them and in can be kind of a cool edition to the exclusive line up of Nintendo
@PBandSmelly I actually am. I don't bring up dead memes to be funny.
@Nomad The original Necrodancer game was $3-$4 a few weeks ago. Wait for that to go on sale again. Cadence of Hyrule is more of a Necrodancer game than it is a Zelda game. If you like Necrodancer, then this game is an easy purchase.
