If you've been keeping an eye on Remothered: Tormented Fathers for Nintendo Switch, you may well have noticed that the game hasn't appeared on the eShop as planned.
Originally scheduled to be launching on the system today, the game has been pushed back to 30th August. A press release covering the announcement explains the situation:
The shift in release date adds more time to polish and tune the final product to meet the developer’s award-winning pedigree. Stormind Games says that “they are committed to providing an immersive and gripping experience for the player. The extra time for the project will help us reach that goal. We want the Nintendo Switch version of Remothered: Tormented Fathers for North America, Europe, and Australia, to be a release that lives up to both the standards of our players and our studio.”
You lovely readers seemed to be pretty excited about the game when we last shared juicy information about it at the beginning of this month; hopefully the wait for the new release date won't feel too long.
Still hyped for this one? Will you be checking it out when it eventually arrives next month? Tell us below.

This is the first I am hearing about this game. Now I can't wait for August 30th!
It might be a good game but that is a really terrible title.
Now this is what they should have done with bloodstained ritual of the night!!!
Will I be checking it out?
Short answer. Nope.
Long answer. Hell nope.
Oh my word, that room with the mannequins...
this looks amazing, I have so much to play through so I dont mind a delay if it means it runs better. gives me silent hill vibes
The title is as creepy as the game! I loved Clock Tower, so I'll keep an eye on it.
Its available on the Japanese eshop. Playable in English.
I really like horror games. So, i’ll pick this up.
I can wait a while longer, and rather have a good first ACTUAL impression than a bad one. My first impressions are good, that's why I'm looking forward to it like I do.
I still can’t get over how awful that title is!
@Brady1138 how about Reaunted: Tormented Estranged Uncles
@Ultimategamer132 I’m partial to ReUncled: Disparaging Mother-in-Law myself
I am picking this up day one, it's been awhile since I played a good horror game!
@Brady1138 Jebus, dude. You just had to bring the elongated subtitle into this.
