A played a fair bit of this on ZX Spectrum, which actually had a proper lightgun option. Would never have believed that in thirty years time, this wouldn't really be possible any more.
Still playing a lot of this, though it crashed on me twice today. I think I preferred Hospital overall, but this is still one of my favourites of 2022 so far.
Interesting to see the 'nicer rooms make people happier' mechanic actually making a difference in this one. Because they tell you in matters in Hospital, but I always found the best tactic was to still build the smallest room possible, stick a cursory pot plant in it, then maybe have to give out a small pay rise two years later. Or maybe not, even...
So...why does Two Point Campus go in this week's new download article for the US but (presumably) next week's for Europe? It releases on the 9th everywhere, right? What are the rules, here? (Not complaining, just insterested...)
I had to manually prod mine into updating. That's never been necessary before.
So yeah, if anyone out there is confused as to why they're still on 2.0, put the cursor on MK8D, press the minus [ - ] button and choose Software Update.
Not Switch related but I hope they have something to share about RockSmith+. One of the many games I was looking forward to a year ago that have now been delayed indefinitely.
@Kyloctopus I went back to the PC version not too long ago and these changes were already in effect there too. For the record, the Steam FPS counter was sitting at a solid 120.
Any idea of an ETA for the review of this? I'm probably going to get it but I'm just looking for confirmation that the whole thing isn't ruined by some stupid decision they've made...
Pretty sure I won't be jumping in day 1 like I did back in 2017, then. That said I'll probably get one after the supply has stabilised as my battery life leaves a lot to be desired at this point.
I just went back to this last night and beat it for the first time. That last level is frustrating but now I'm determined to get the good ending on hard mode.
Ooh, interesting. Something Stardew-ish but a touch faster paced would be my preference. I enjoyed it for a while but gave up when I got through a full (in-game) year and had still hardly uncovered any of the plot.
It's not that surprising, really. Spotify has over a hundred million users. Developing for a whole new platform to get 11,000 more must look like a drop in the ocean.

Re: Review: NieR:Automata The End of YoRHa Edition - A Modern Classic Shines On Switch
Well, I'm sold. Just finished Shovel Knight Dig, too - perfect timing.
Re: Nintendo Launches Official Website For Newly Acquired 'Nintendo Pictures'
Coincidentally, I have recently been asked to stop providing unique and surprising images. Honestly, it's one rule for etc.

Re: Talking Point: What Did You Think Of The Latest Nintendo Direct?
Great news for anyone who likes farming RPGs, not so great for the rest of us...
Re: First Class! Two Point Campus Enrolls One Million Players Worldwide
Still playing a lot of this, though it crashed on me twice today. I think I preferred Hospital overall, but this is still one of my favourites of 2022 so far.
Re: Gallery: Here's A Look At Wave Race 64 For The Switch Online Expansion Pack
@DreamlandGem @YoshiF2 Update!
I installed the browser extensions 'Privacy Badger' and 'HTTPS Everywhere' and it stopped happening.
Re: Gallery: Here's A Look At Wave Race 64 For The Switch Online Expansion Pack
Wooooo!
BTW, this website keeps trying to make me download a file called pbcas.bin - what's going on there?
Re: Anniversary: Impossibly, Sonic Mania Is Now Five Years Old
Best Sonic game of all time!
8/10
Re: UK Charts: Two Point Campus Sells More On Switch Than Other Consoles Combined
Playing a lot of this! Very good, but could do with a patch to sort out a few pretty noticeable bugs.
Re: Nintendo Download: 11th August (Europe)
Mainly Two Point Campus, and I also just picked up a heavily discounted Katamari Damacy: Reroll.
Plus getting my Tetris 99 dailies, as always.

Re: Review: Two Point Campus - A Beautifully Balanced Sim That's More 'Friend' Than 'Fiscal'
Could it really be? A game I was looking forward to is actually getting released in 2022? I thought this day would never come...

Odd.
Re: Deals: Nintendo Switch OLED Consoles Are £25 Off In The UK Right Now
Must resist.
Current Switch fine.
So broke.
Nnnnnng....
Re: Nintendo Switch Sales See 24% Increase In June In The UK
I kind of half wish they would start to fall off a bit at this point, just so there's some incentive for a new console release.
Re: Nintendo Appears To Be Stockpiling Raw Materials, Doubles Its 2019 Spending On Supplies
I'm sure new hardware has something to do with it. Still, this doesn't tell us that they'll actually be releasing a new platform any time soon.

This might be the next release I'm actually looking forward to at this point. Let's hope tomorrow's direct changes that...
Re: Flashback Returns In Long-Awaited Sequel On Switch This Winter
Interested, not fully convinced.
Re: Stylish First-Person Action Game 'Neon White' Launches Next Week On Switch
Okay, I'm in. Well overdue to buy something or other.
Re: Nintendo UK Executive Andy Yates Retires After 26 Years
Did he get a gold Game & Watch?
Re: Random: Reggie Fils-Aimé Doesn't Think Much Of Facebook's Metaverse
Yeah, there doesn't seem to be much to it as it stands. Just kind of like a multiplayer game without the game.
Re: Ubisoft Subject To "Cyber Security Incident", But No Player Data Was Compromised
Choose carefully which services get to store your credit card details, folks.
Re: Talking Point: What Are You Playing This Weekend? (February 12th)
I'm playing some not at all new stuff that I got in the current sale. Ori and the Will of the Wisps and some Pinball FX3 tables.
Re: Where To Pre-Order Advance Wars 1+2 Re-Boot Camp On Switch
Never heard of it.
Re: Microsoft Wants Call Of Duty On Switch, Along With Other "Popular" Activision Blizzard Games
Well, there's a mobile version, right? A slightly up-res'd port of that but with proper controls might be worth having...
Re: MLB The Show 22 Gets Its First Switch Gameplay Trailer
I was always rubbish at roundersas a kid. Then I played it as an adult with a can of beer in my hand and I was quite good!
Anyway, what's a baseball?
Re: Nintendo Reconfirms Release Windows For Major Upcoming Switch Games
The leak of Re-Boot Camp's date being 8th of April hasn't been confirmed, then. Hmph.
Re: Nintendo Download: 12th August (Europe)
Got Islanders with the reward points from my last pair of Switch Online game vouchers. It's good! And was free! Sort of!
Re: Review: The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword HD - A Remaster That Truly Soars
Am I finally going to have to give in and buy an Amiibo, then? Oh wait, they're all sold out until 2035. Never mind.

Counter point: not crab.
Re: Monster Hunter Stories 2: Wings Of Ruin Demo Lands Soon On Switch
I'm not planning to try out the new Rise content, and of course the Stories 2 demo when it arrives on 25th June!
Re: Multiplayer Shooter Retrograde Arena Just Launched On Switch For Free
Day 1 review: it's somewhat okay.
Re: The Colonists Is A Cute City Building Game With Robots, Out On Switch In May
This genre is oddly thin on the ground on the Switch. If it gets half-decent reviews I'll probably give it a shot.
Re: The R-Type Final 2 Demo For Switch Can Now Be Downloaded In The West
Looks a bit... cheap. Still, I'll probably play the demo. A good, new R-Type would be an extremely welcome thing.
Re: Random: Take Yunobo Anywhere In Zelda: Breath Of The Wild With A Simple Exploit
What about if you fast travel? Ideally, I want not to know where he is, but that somewhere he is It Follows-ing his way across the countryside.

Re: Hyrule Warriors: Age Of Calamity Is Already The Best-Selling Warriors Game Of All Time
My right thumb is exhausted.
Re: Talking Point: What Are You Playing This Weekend? (June 20th)
Finishing Resi 4 and then mopping up my missing two and three star objectives in Two Point hospital.
Also sort of trying to get back into MK11 but it's not going too well...

Ooh, interesting. Something Stardew-ish but a touch faster paced would be my preference. I enjoyed it for a while but gave up when I got through a full (in-game) year and had still hardly uncovered any of the plot.
Re: Tickets Please, Switch Is Getting A New A-Train Entry
I'd probably buy this if it the reviews were half-decent. The dodgy Switch port of Cities Skylines leaves us a bit lacking the genre.
Re: Nintendo Has Just Surprise-Dropped Some Free Cadence Of Hyrule DLC
Might leave this until I've got my Hori Split Pad joy cons. The game is good but playing on the standard non-d-pad gives me cramp.

Re: Video: Digital Foundry's Full Tech Breakdown Of GRID Autosport On Switch
I prefer the look of performance mode as well as the frame rate. The lack of smoothing effects gives it a nice sharpness.
Re: Guide: The Witcher 3 On Nintendo Switch - 10 Gameplay Settings To Check Out Before Starting
I still can't decide whether I want this or not. The major factors are:
Pros - 150 hours of gameplay.
Cons - 150 hours of gameplay.
Re: Pilotwings - 16-bit Flight Simulation, The Nintendo Way
Pretty cool that now you get to review the old SNES classics. Who'd have thought any major(ish) sites would be doing that again, eh?
