A played a fair bit of this on ZX Spectrum, which actually had a proper lightgun option.
Would never have believed that in thirty years time, this wouldn't really be possible any more.

Great news for anyone who likes farming RPGs, not so great for the rest of us...

Still playing a lot of this, though it crashed on me twice today. I think I preferred Hospital overall, but this is still one of my favourites of 2022 so far.

Playing a lot of this! Very good, but could do with a patch to sort out a few pretty noticeable bugs.

Mainly Two Point Campus, and I also just picked up a heavily discounted Katamari Damacy: Reroll.

Plus getting my Tetris 99 dailies, as always.

Interesting to see the 'nicer rooms make people happier' mechanic actually making a difference in this one. Because they tell you in matters in Hospital, but I always found the best tactic was to still build the smallest room possible, stick a cursory pot plant in it, then maybe have to give out a small pay rise two years later. Or maybe not, even...

Could it really be? A game I was looking forward to is actually getting released in 2022? I thought this day would never come...

So...why does Two Point Campus go in this week's new download article for the US but (presumably) next week's for Europe? It releases on the 9th everywhere, right? What are the rules, here?

I kind of half wish they would start to fall off a bit at this point, just so there's some incentive for a new console release.

I'm sure new hardware has something to do with it. Still, this doesn't tell us that they'll actually be releasing a new platform any time soon.

Not Switch related but I hope they have something to share about RockSmith+. One of the many games I was looking forward to a year ago that have now been delayed indefinitely.

@Kyloctopus I went back to the PC version not too long ago and these changes were already in effect there too. For the record, the Steam FPS counter was sitting at a solid 120.

This might be the next release I'm actually looking forward to at this point. Let's hope tomorrow's direct changes that...

Pretty sure I won't be jumping in day 1 like I did back in 2017, then. That said I'll probably get one after the supply has stabilised as my battery life leaves a lot to be desired at this point.

Day 1 review: it's somewhat okay.

This genre is oddly thin on the ground on the Switch. If it gets half-decent reviews I'll probably give it a shot.

Looks a bit... cheap. Still, I'll probably play the demo. A good, new R-Type would be an extremely welcome thing.

What about if you fast travel? Ideally, I want not to know where he is, but that somewhere he is It Follows-ing his way across the countryside.

I just went back to this last night and beat it for the first time. That last level is frustrating but now I'm determined to get the good ending on hard mode.

Finishing Resi 4 and then mopping up my missing two and three star objectives in Two Point hospital.

Also sort of trying to get back into MK11 but it's not going too well...

Ooh, interesting. Something Stardew-ish but a touch faster paced would be my preference. I enjoyed it for a while but gave up when I got through a full (in-game) year and had still hardly uncovered any of the plot.

I'd probably buy this if it the reviews were half-decent. The dodgy Switch port of Cities Skylines leaves us a bit lacking the genre.

Might leave this until I've got my Hori Split Pad joy cons. The game is good but playing on the standard non-d-pad gives me cramp.

It's not that surprising, really. Spotify has over a hundred million users. Developing for a whole new platform to get 11,000 more must look like a drop in the ocean.

I prefer the look of performance mode as well as the frame rate. The lack of smoothing effects gives it a nice sharpness.

I still can't decide whether I want this or not. The major factors are:
Pros - 150 hours of gameplay.
Cons - 150 hours of gameplay.

Pretty cool that now you get to review the old SNES classics. Who'd have thought any major(ish) sites would be doing that again, eh?
