Got Planet of Lana on sale, and it is good. Beautiful visuals. Stitch is still my favorite chill game. WRC 10 and Rocket League.

My amiibo look sweet on my shelf with my other Nintendo stuff. Sure, I used them a little in some games, but for me they are cool reminders of great games I’ve played.

Like others said here: I enjoyed it, I wanted to continue playing but difficulty, together with punishment for failing, frustrated me to the point where I said goodbye. I don’t mind a difficult game: I died 5000 times in Celeste, but I would simply restart the room. HK would throw me back to a save point too far back. I really appreciate Prince of Persia: the boss battles were taking me way too long. So I was able to change difficulty and finish the game. I understand that some games are too hard for me, I respect that. But I also like when a game allows a gamer with my abilities the chance to experience the game easier.

@FirstEmperor ok, late reply. You make a good point. Yes Mario Kart is incredible, but look what’s below ACNH: Wonder, Princess Peach, Splatoon 3, all newer games with decent sales.

Mario Kart has incredibly amazing sales, but I would argue ACNH has pretty amazing sales itself.

Song of Nunu. Very good so far, much more linear than my last game Prince of Persia. Back to racing on Grid, I was playing a good bit of WRC for a while, but Grid’s visuals are better. Rocket League and to chill out: Stitch.

Forget 7 year olds, I want this game! Is there a boss rush mode?

New Horizons is fourth, despite being four years old. I find that amazing.

This is a great game that I finished just about a week ago. I am more into exploring and the story, but the bosses were good. Some of the platforming sections were intense! Having enjoyed it for 30 hours, I think I am done now.

You got me with “beautiful art and music”. I skipped most of review to avoid spoilers, but I will check out review after game. Thank you for the review!

Over 200 hours, less time than BotW, but I like TotK better. I love the verticality of the game. And that plays into the final part of battle. Sorry if spoiler.

Just finished Prince of Persia this week. Wow. Great game. I didn’t come close to 100% but had a great time. Great platforming, some tough bosses. I love the visuals and the story was good.

Started Song of Nunu, playing WRC 10, Rocket League and Stitch. Stitch is a good chill out game.

Prince of Persia, WRC 10, Rocket League and I just bought Stitch cause it looked so good. And it plays great. Handheld is the way to play that game!

As one who has played Grid, WRC, Wreckfest, Need for Speed, Paradise City and more, I look forward to this. It looks pretty good, we will see how it performs on Switch. Ahem.

This direct was very good for me. Several games interested me. I bought stitch as soon as I got home. After 10 minutes, I love it. It’s like Piczle line game, but I like the visuals, UI and puzzles much better. Of course I just started and don’t know the difficulty curve yet, but there are help options. I really like it so far.

@Diogmites are you still playing Shapes and beats? I loved that game, but the difficulty got too hard for me after only a few hours. I tried and tried but just kept dying. I hope you are crushing it!

20 hours into Prince of Persia, and loving it. But, this relaxing game looks perfect for me. I don’t need difficulty, but I do like beauty and good sound in games. Thanks for the review!

Ok. I played the whole game and really liked it. True: it’s fetch quest heavy, but I like the characters, the dialog and the extra abilities each character gets. I would recommend it not as great, but solidly good.

I do have Power Up by Chris Kohler which is good, a little too detailed for me. I still need to get Iwata Asks. And I’ve borrowed some books from the library.

This book looks pretty cool and I am a fan of the genre. Thanks for the review!

When I tried Badge Arcade yesterday, it claimed I was not connected to the internet.

Although I rarely played online, I lament the passing.

So….someday my Switch will lose online functions? It is hard to imagine that future….

Prince of Persia is pretty cool, only 16% through, and liking it. WRC 10, Art of Glide, Trees and Tents.

And, opening my 3ds to see if I will miss anything tomorrow.

Ok, the story about the developers sold me on this game. Definitely want to support them. And, it looks pretty good.

Ok, other sets were too much shelf real estate for too much money. This “set” might be a good, but not imposing, addition to my Animal Crossing paraphernalia. Hmmmm.

Thank you for the reminder! Oh, 3DS! I miss you! (But not enough to charge you up to play again). Back to my switch.

Thank you for the article. I am going to pick up Song of Nunu, and play it after Prince of Persia. Both games have the same middle name.

@MindfulGamer I couldn’t think of it when I played the demo, but you are exactly right. I love will o the wisps.

As a musician and songwriter, I know I have one shot to make a song good. If a person doesn’t like my song, that’s fine. I don’t expect them to listen to it again, telling them I made changes. I am glad the devs did work post release, for future buyers, but I think more work should have happened before the release.

Do more stables mean more horses?

I have been fortunate to visit the store—on a NYC trip I told my family we had to stop there. We did, they were patient, I was out of my mind happy. I don’t think I bought anything—I was so overwhelmed.

I really wanted to get this game. I liked the demo, even though I thought it easy. But the scores and descriptions make me very hesitant to spend all that money. I realize it won’t go on sale soon, or ever, but I am definitely not buying it right now.

This reminds me of Far: lone sails (and it’s sequel). That is a great game and this game is definitely going on my wish list, if not first day buy.

Trying to finish Wonder, I have been playing a level here and there since launch. It’s so good I don’t want to finish it, you know? WRC 10, Rocket League, tents and trees and art of glide.

Ok, I already forgot the physical Mario kart game that Nintendo released a couple years ago. I can’t imagine how Lego would improve on that. Simple kart builds would seem—too simple. Remote control? I don’t understand building hype a year away unless it’s something big.

Art of glide is a simple, inexpensive flight sim that gives the feeling of flying a paper airplane. Though bare bones, it is worth the price.

Tents and trees is still on my every day playlist after more than a month. It is a great 10 minute chill puzzler.

Thank you for the review and pictures. That’s about all I want from this: just to check it out. I can’t see buying this since my display space for gaming stuff is relatively small. But it does look cool.

Pushmo, Pullmo, Crashmo. I think there were three? Great games that should not be too hard to port.

Fortunately I already have a good amount of animal crossing collectibles. I can’t see fitting this on my shelves. But a K.K. mini fig: that would be a must buy for me.

@Kyloctopus thank you for saying “luck simulator”. My problem with the original was I didn’t feel I was progressing even though I played a lot. I tried the demo, it is good. But in a weird way, this game is too luck based and too addictive for me.

Yes! The artwork draws me in automatically. My only wish is that it is not brutally difficult. It doesn’t appear too difficult. It just looks so good!

Thank you for the review. As someone who has played many nonogram games, I can appreciate how you mentioned the cursor movement. In these games those little things can add up.

Pocket card jockey? Oh no! That game is too addictive.

There is a circle on the bottom right of my 3DS from pocket card jockey, which is why I don’t like that game!
