As someone who rarely replays games, this news isn’t as big to me. But, I do appreciate preserving the games into a next generation. I will likewise miss games like Super Little Acorns on my 3ds.

I finished Echoes of Wisdom this past week. What a great game. Rocket League, Rush Rally, and my coworker encouraged me to get Persona 5 Royal. Never played Persona, and it’s been a while since a proper RPG. I am excited.

@1UP_MARIO Likewise, I just finished the game yesterday after 30 hours. I am going back to clear up spaces on the map that I did not explore, but I am pretty much finished.

Echoes is a beautiful game with a good story and good dungeons and it just puts a smile on your face. It is a great and necessary addition to the Zelda universe.

I just finished the game after 30 hours. I love it but frame rate is a drawback. Also: I did feel that overall the game was a little too easy. But maybe I am getting better at gaming. I do think it deserves the 9 score.

Reading the comments here cured me from the desire to buy the clock. At first I was very interested, but people here make good points: the cost, power supply, UI limitations.

@russell-marlow it’s not rude. I asked myself the same question after finishing Gris in less than 10, maybe 5 hours. Though it is short, it is very beautiful and thought provoking and emotional.

I decided Gris was a 10 in my rating. The game blew me away.

While I love this website, I have been trying to avoid news of EoW. What a great game! Now: back to the game…

@Otoemetry Very true. But as a caretaker for five goats and a chicken, I still love farm sims (when done well). Maybe that’s because I can do all the work with only a few button pushes.

A week back into TotK, and I see no end in sight. I am using the book to find remaining quests, there is so much in this game!

@Tyranexx absolutely. I did that with TotK and was so happily surprised when a tree got up to attack me on my first session. What a game to go into knowing only a little. Likewise, after watching the very first trailer, I have avoided all news on EoW. Yes, I accidentally saw a headline on this site—but I will start the game knowing very little. And I am excited! It can be done.

I give this review a 9. Good descriptions and good humor. Great writing! And, I’ll check out the game.

I just got back into TotK. After finishing the game a year ago with 230 hours, I am back into it completing quests I never finished. This game is so good!

@Late I forgot about that quest in Yoku, but I agree it’s a great game. Especially how they incorporate pinball seemlessly into gameplay.

“Highly challenging stages” in the description nixes it for me.

Also, I would hesitate to compare to Celeste. This game looks like others I’ve played where there is one room/screen after another—challenging, fun yes, but lacking overall narrative continuity.

I will always remember the 5000+ times I died in Celeste, not only because it was hard, but also because I had to finish the story.

@JalapenoSpiceLife @Wilforce I was also wondering why I stopped, then I remembered that the racing is good, but too much of the game is not racing.

Give me a game where I am in the drivers seat as much as possible, and not asking for money.

“Control issues” is what stands out to me. It breaks the immersion when I am constantly trying to figure that out. Thanks for the review!

@BoFiS I recently finished Big City Little Kitty and it was great. But this looks on a whole different level. I am interested, but will wait to see how reviewers judge the visuals. I can hope.

@Snatcher I love Okami, but I do remember it was too long. At some point, maybe 25 hours into it, I thought it was done. Then there was another 10 some hours. While I love the art and gameplay, I wish it was shorter. I understand that you didn’t finish it.

@jorel262 yes, I loved it on 3ds. First because it was a good game with good story, second because it was like no other game I played on 3ds. Sad that eshop closed, but I hope for you it gets ported.

@abe_hikura thank you for your take on Build. I almost bought it a few days ago on 40% sale, but I decided not. I am happy with that decision. I love Dig and liked Heist, but I just thought Build didn’t look as interesting and fun.

Mallow from Pushmo. Dungeons filled with block pulling puzzles, and give the guy a sword. That’s my hope.

This reveal was the best part of the direct for me. I like the art style and playing as Zelda is great.

While I expected Zelda to wield a weapon, I am excited to try the echo ability. I love a game that allows more than one way to overcome obstacles.

While I was really hoping for ww, I think I am happier with this. Go Zelda!
