As a musician with a small home studio: I would absolutely love this. But, from a practical business viewpoint, I cannot envision enough switch users buying this hardware.

Taking advantage of the sale, I am finally playing Tropical Freeze, what a great game! And I am playing it while finishing Hoa, what a contrast.

Many of these games gave me hours and hours of enjoyment. Captain toad, Gardens Between and Lumines etc. One I would add is the Quell games. They are nice to look at, peaceful, with a gradual learning curve.

@SteamEngenius I was just thinking the same thing. And a different story could be told of the crazy ways preinternet that we solved puzzles and beat bosses.

Oh, brothers! I didn’t like the game. It was alright, my daughter and I played to the end. The video documentary at the end was interesting. But overall I just couldn’t get into the story of the game. And the ending: talk about sad. Okay, now I want to throw a controller…..

Okay, I’ve played Everspace and Starlink, enjoyed both of them. But I am surprised by the inclusion of Inner Space. I remember wanting this game but passing it because of the Nintendo life review:6/10. Rereading the review, I have to wonder why it is included in this list?

@UsurperKing thank you! I figured as much, but the amount of time they work on this is incredible. But I guess it’s all relative: some people think the hour or more I play every day is a lot.

Okay forgive my ignorance; how do these people support themselves? I respect the dedication and skills, but where do they find the time? Is there money to made in doing this? And do they play other games?

I recently finished Arise: a simple story. Great game where the protagonist is older. I love the controls of the character. He does not move fast and when he falls down, it takes him a moment to get up.

“Arise: a simple story” is a great puzzle platformer: beautiful, good story, decent mechanics. Still progressing through Hot Wheels unleashed, some of those tracks are pretty intense. Going backward I played Trials Rising, it is so fun and there are tracks I missed in my first play through.

@nukatha I was just playing that game a couple days ago. I picked up my 3ds to play at work and it was the first game I went to. It is a truly great puzzle game and I don’t know why there is not a sequel.

Picked up Arise on sale: it is beautiful and fun. Progressing through the map on Hot Wheels: Unleashed. There is some very fun tracks in that game. And Rocket League, I am almost to level 70 of this season.

@zaka Yes, I would love to play it for the first time! A few months back I tried to replay it, but just couldn't. A co worker of mine is actually playing it for the first time right now. He just got a switch and is amazed by the game. I can't imagine . . .

I recently purchased the Splatune 2 soundtrack from Japan. It took about 3 weeks and I can’t read most of the information. But that’s okay because it is great!

Just yesterday at work I listened to about an hour of K.K. Slider.

I would be very happy if their music was more available but I doubt they will change course.

Yes, after 2 years and well over 600 hours, I am finally done. It has been a very good time on my island. I have visited to look, but that great game play loop is no longer captivating me. I am now starting to think about the next animal crossing.

@invictus4000 thank you for mentioning Gris. I haven’t played it since it launched. I just went back, played a few levels and was amazed, again. What a beautiful experience that speaks so much without words.

@Andy_C444 I actually bought the game a few weeks ago on sale. For half price, it is worth it. I am not a fan of the micro transactions: so I don't use them. But there is more than enough content to have a good arcade type racing time. It is a fun time.

Great video: wow! The animation is excellent but also the story telling is well done for the short length.

Yes, I got this game soon after launch. I beat several levels, and I love the music. But I guess my rhythm is not so good, I had a hard time getting farther. I actually thought of this game recently as one to redownload.

I absolutely love this game! I played digital and loved it. I bought physical and have yet to play it. Now with final fixes, it may be time. I highly recommend this great game!

@Richnj I like what you said: the non toxic voices need to start drowning out the toxic ones.

Spiritfarer: last year I lived with my Dad for a month before he died. Though I played Spiritfarer months before that, parts of the game gave me strength. I was truly like Stella in the game, doing little quests for my Dad.

Games can be incredible mental and spiritual touchstones that guide us and encourage us.

I went back to Mario Maker 2 and tried some of my levels: it was fun! Looking at my levels I could see how much time that I put into that game. It is a great game!

I am alternating Hot Wheels Unleashed with Grid: two different racers that are fun to play back to back. And Rocket League.

it has been two weeks since I last played Animal Crossing New Horizons. That was a great game.

I am almost finished Kirby, I have been taking it slow and enjoying every minute! Rocket League, Travel Mosaics and,

I am really liking the Hot Wheels Unleashed. Having played many of the racing games on switch, this one is similar but different in that it really feels like racing little cars. The tracks are great and the music is cool. Of course, the micro transactions are annoying, as is the adverts for DLC. But, except for that, it is a fun game.

These are two great games! They are in my short list of racing games. I have played many racing games on switch, what I like about these two is the mechanics feel so good, the visuals are nice and the load time is quicker than other racers.

I am curious about the sound test disc: there is only a little music during loading (which I like) otherwise is it just the motor sounds? That would be cool.

This article is utterly fantastic! It takes the buttons we mash every day with nary a thought and gives them life and meaning.

Its been a week since I have played Animal Crossing and I do not regret putting that game down to play Kirby. Kirby is excellent!

Yay, Kirby! I am enjoying almost every minute of this game!

After two years I finally stopped my daily visits to my island on New Horizons. Thank you, Kirby!

I love Animal Crossing, and I have played many many games in the past two years. But I would always spend at least twenty minutes each day on my island.

But as I started Kirby, I really wanted to jump all in and spend all my gaming time on this game. It is really a fun time!

Kirby! Rocket League! Mario Kart!

And I don't have a problem with "escapism" We need to "escape" our daily environment to create a better perspective for ourselves and our world. Like escaping into books, escaping into video games brings adventure, exploration, understanding, joy and yes, sometimes sadness.
