Re: Feature: Games That Got Us Through Tough Times

Spiritfarer: last year I lived with my Dad for a month before he died. Though I played Spiritfarer months before that, parts of the game gave me strength. I was truly like Stella in the game, doing little quests for my Dad.

Games can be incredible mental and spiritual touchstones that guide us and encourage us.

I went back to Mario Maker 2 and tried some of my levels: it was fun! Looking at my levels I could see how much time that I put into that game. It is a great game!

I am alternating Hot Wheels Unleashed with Grid: two different racers that are fun to play back to back. And Rocket League.

Happy gaming everyone!

it has been two weeks since I last played Animal Crossing New Horizons. That was a great game.

I am almost finished Kirby, I have been taking it slow and enjoying every minute! Rocket League, Travel Mosaics and,

I am really liking the Hot Wheels Unleashed. Having played many of the racing games on switch, this one is similar but different in that it really feels like racing little cars. The tracks are great and the music is cool. Of course, the micro transactions are annoying, as is the adverts for DLC. But, except for that, it is a fun game.

Happy gaming everyone!

Re: Rush Rally Collection Is A 2-In-1 Physical Edition Coming To Switch

These are two great games! They are in my short list of racing games. I have played many racing games on switch, what I like about these two is the mechanics feel so good, the visuals are nice and the load time is quicker than other racers.

I am curious about the sound test disc: there is only a little music during loading (which I like) otherwise is it just the motor sounds? That would be cool.

After two years I finally stopped my daily visits to my island on New Horizons. Thank you, Kirby!

I love Animal Crossing, and I have played many many games in the past two years. But I would always spend at least twenty minutes each day on my island.

But as I started Kirby, I really wanted to jump all in and spend all my gaming time on this game. It is really a fun time!

I love the article, yes yes!

And I don't have a problem with "escapism" We need to "escape" our daily environment to create a better perspective for ourselves and our world. Like escaping into books, escaping into video games brings adventure, exploration, understanding, joy and yes, sometimes sadness.

I am loving Kirby!

@Anti-Matter Congratulations on the robot! The robot is the last thing that I would like to do, but probably will not be able. I believe I am missing the recipe for a rocket (different than the other rocket) and I think Celeste gives that recipe. But I still love the game.

What was the final thing that you got to put the robot together?

Re: Ori Developer Moon Studios Labelled "Oppressive" Workplace In New Report

Part of my job is to train new hires. One thing I often say is that bosses have one job: get as much done in as little time as possible. And I tell them bosses can be jerks--it's not right, but it is permissible at my job. Harassment is difficult to prove, but, I tell them, if you think somethings not right, tell someone.

While I do believe people (and companies) are innocent until proven guilty, allegations need to be investigated. Since it has become public, I think an independent organization needs to look into this. Ultimately an investigation would be good not only for employees but for the company in the long run.

Re: Video: Why Is Animal Crossing So Much Fun?

I can't believe I played New Horizons almost every day since launch. This is a great game. I am about to attend my 100th K.K. Concert.

Hey I get people's dislike: I dislike other games.

But in my view, Animal Crossing is a masterpiece.

Coming to the end of Fynex Rising, great fun! Rush Rally 3, Rocket League but my favorite new game:

Far: Changing Tides!!!

I am only about an hour in but I am savoring every moment. It is even more beautiful, more atmospheric, more engaging than the previous game, Far: Lone Sails. I am loving playing Far: Changing Tides!

This might be good for me: I've tried Olli olli and Tony Hawk. I like those games, but I don't have the time to invest in getting good. And, honestly, for me, the reward of being able to do a multi button technique is not worth the effort.

But, a chill game like this might be for me.

Animal Crossing New Horizons (I can't believe that I am still playing this and creating new things on my island!)

Immortals Fenyx Rising: I liberated Athena and Aphrodite and I am finally getting into the swing of the whole game system. Yes, it is similar to BotW, but the dialog, the humor, is so much fun.

Rush Rally 3: The Rush Rally Origins is great, so is this game!

Happy gaming everyone!
