Pretty slow week for titles i've heard of.

I've gotten a shiny Nickit random in the wild & a shiny Minccino. Also breed up a shiny sobble, and I never checked for the shiny whether they have stars or squares going to have to check while at lunch today lol!

@Jayofmaya Agree wish there had been some gameplay, though if it's already released in Japan I'm sure I could find some, but it's harder to sell the game when you don't include that in the trailer.

I'm less interested in the awards themselves, but more for the announcements that come with the show lately haven't been terrible.

Will wait until actual Black friday deals finally hit before making any decisions on what to pick up. There's still a couple of games I wouldn't mind getting like the 2 dark siders games, and Tales of vesperia at some point which seems always on sale anyways.

If this was old pokemon games they would never be able to remove that even, modern patching allows them to make it go away. I'm still enjoying the game, but it does not run well and the graphics & animations really could have used more work. Also really felt like when that first scene of the game comes up this would have been a great point to bring in voice actors for main scenes.

@Expa0 Gamefreak just needed to not give excuses such as we are cutting this because we are doing better animations and graphics & working on more mechanics. They got caught in a lie instead they should have just said this is a decision from here on out we will be cutting down the dexes to not include as much due to the number of pokemon there is now. If they had not given those other excuses people would be mad, but they just brought more fire on themselves by not really feeding the excuses given very well.

35 hours in over the weekend, I'm enjoying the game for the most part. However I gotta say this game definitely performs pretty poorly at times, and a lot of the graphics are really not up to snuff for a switch game performance and graphics (and lack of voiced lines) have been the most disappointing parts of the game so far.

@BenAV I'm hoping you've figured out by now that there are sometimes different pokemon in shaking grass that don't pop up their sprites since you said you were ignoring most of them that you just saw.

@Kirby_Girl I just didn't like Sylvando's overly flamboyent personality personally, he was my least favorite character by a lot. I only used him when I had to pretty much . @shining_nexus I also agree in enjoying Jade's arc.

Favorite for me is Jade best girl, and least favorite was Sylvando.

I think this is one of those situations that proves sometimes it's best to not look at scores and look at the review itself. Even if it was scored at a 7/10 i'd still be playing it. I am irritated at the laziness of this game, and the cuts. However I'm still looking forward to playing it because I love pokemon. I think it just can't be said enough though that GF/PC can do much better, and I think most would agree it was stupid to straight up lie about things like graphics/animations being worked on as their excuse for cutting the dex, instead it's just better to be be honest about it that they straight up know the dex is getting to big for a game that has to be released on a yearly or 2 year cycle and it's getting difficult with time crunch which I think is the real reason.

@Brittroberts Yeah it was fun this game looks a lot like it, it also had 100 levels basically you beat the floor then you'd scroll up 1 floor. I remember it being pretty tough, but still fun and a pretty good amount of content for NES with 100 puzzle levels basically.

When this hits a 20 dollar or less sale i will probably pick this up, I really loved the original back on the NES.

@Dm9982 To me based on the trailer this looks like it could be a return to the great 90's Jim Carey I'm pretty excited to see that alone.

@Spanjard If the dang things were not so expensive maybe i'd have a 2nd set, but i'd rather get another pro controller over the joycons at that price.

It's too bad they didn't proceed forward, but move development to the GBA instead, probably would have been a hit especially hot off the heals of the popularity of Diablo 2.

@ShadJV I'd say very little of the pokedex was actually officially put out this time. Unfortunately as it is lately the whole thing has been leaked at this point, but that's not per their choice. Heck I was super disappointed they didn't even officially reveal the starter evolutions and was forced to look at leaks in order to get an idea on which starter I wanted.

You know I really liked Final Fantasy Legend 3, and it's amazing that most would have no clue those games were actually SaGa games. I think this is one I want to try at some point once it goes down in price.

It all comes down to you are ruining someone else's experience when you cheat on a multiplayer game, just because you think oh this is enjoyable content it's still ruining someone else's experience. Now I think people do stupid stuff though, and lifetime ban is not where to go right off the bat, but something like a month or 3 month ban should be allowed, and then if you have 2nd or 3rd strike you are banned for life. I think that should apply for everyone, and definitely should not be any different treatment for content creator over normal players.

I think this game is going to sell gang busters, the core base that have the complaints will buy it either way more than likely (I have complaints, but not enough for me to not buy it). Unfortunately the crowd that is not complaining that will buy this well outnumbers the vocal minority. I think it would take a lot of mess ups to ruin the first regular pokemon game on a console, and due to it being that it is less likely to fail. I think the game will be fun either way, but do wish the things like no full pokedex, and some of the graphics upgrades were better were solved. I still hope someday maybe we'll see something like the mythical pokemon rainbow idea where basically the game allows you to go to every area that's been released in the past so you can literally catch them all, but it seems less and less likely that Game Freak/Pokemon Company will ever want to put that much into the series for that idea.

I hope pokemon home is going to be free, because if it's like bank even with a small yearly fee with the lack of knowing when some of your favorite pokemon may come back it's going to be a hard investment I think.

I don't play smash enough to pick him up. Only DLC I grabbed was Joker, though I might grab the DQ one at some point as it's the only other one i'm interested in.

I'm glad I checked the leaks for those at least, since I would not have liked what I was going to choose I think based on just the base starter.

So yeah I'm interested in Romancing Saga 3, but sure the heck not for 29 bucks lol. I'll wait for a sale down to at least 15.

I only have 1 pair of joy con, and I probably need to get them sent in since i'm getting drift it appears. However with Pokemon coming out next week i'd rather wait until I finish it up before I possibly lose use of my joy con for an unforseeable timeframe. I do have pro controllers, but still rather wait.

Oh the NSO service where you have no longer committed to timeframes for new games to show up, and haven't added anything new since the launch of SNES online lol. It's sad how much of a waste their online service feels like, it's going to be hard to renew it from the free twitch deal I got once my free year is over.

Well we can definitely tell these numbers for systems are off by a bit since Nintendo announced they passed 10 million units in JP.

@MsJubilee I went and checked out the leaks for them purely because it kind of seems like they are not even going to do an official announcement of the starters evolutions. I always choose my starter based off final form since you'll spend the most time with the final form imo. I might go with grass starter for the first time since Treecko, but sadly its more because it's the one I dislike the least.

Just not into the lite especially since I already have the normal switch. Now give me a cool new switch pro then maybe depending on the bump it gets if we get a switch pro.

I ordered Shield, and can't wait to play on my big TV. I took Friday off for a 3 day weekend and hope to make a really good dent in the game in that whole weekend.

Interested, but only if it gets brought west, hopefully that happens. I still wish we could see some Persona 5 Royal or P4 action on switch in addition to this game.

If I ever got the game early I'd just be to busy enjoying the game instead .

I want to pick this up at some point, but i'm probably ok with digital since I don't want to pay the extra cost for physical.

I wonder how many people want a 45 minute smash direct, mostly dealing with 1 new character and already advising no new announcement for next character. I'm curious if there will be one more pokemon direct before it launches.

If you cheat on a multiplayer game you are ruining another persons experience in the game, he got what he deserved. If you decide to cheat on something you should be 100% willing to go with any consequences associated with this. It's one thing to use cheats in a solo game, but if you are playing against other players and they do not even know you are cheating then they deserve it.

I went looking for the starters because for some reason pokemon company has been holding those back and I like to know which pokemon I want to start with. Going to be honest not a huge fan of the trio's final evolutions, but leaning towards grookey or sobble. I really dislike scorbunny which my inital lean after just starters were announced was scorbunny or sobble.

I'm really surprised that D4 wasn't announced for switch as well, based on it seemed like D3 did really well on switch. That game doens't look like it would have issues running on switch.

Definitely was quite a few bugs and slow downs and loading issues when I played it, I still need to go back to work on finishing it up. I was primarily playing on vacation handheld though. It will be interesting to see how much better it is when I get around to finishing the last 20% of the game. The screenshots don't make the graphics changes look like much though, but i think most just mainly really want the fixes to gameplay more than anything.

Definitely say it has a good opportunity to sell between NES and Wii, that is unless they do a Pro and count that in with normal switch sales like the PS4 Pro and Xbox one X, if it's a big enough jump to stay somewhat competitve then I think it could surpass the Wii numbers since it would extend the lifecycle.

I want to pick this up at some point I believe, but knowing that there will be a future sale I have backlog to get through first. I'm also tempted to grab DQ3 at some point, though it doesn't sound like it's the best version to grab.

@BarefootBowser Pretty surprised we haven't seen anymore remasters coming to switch I'm pretty sure the first dark souls remaster did pretty well.

They sure know how to make good value out of their cloud saves from nintendo online /s. The games you'd really want to use cloud saves for are the ones that never have them it seems.

Besides knowing the space it's going to take up on your system, I think it's hard to take much else from file sizes just due to their variety and how different companies use those file sizes even.

Normally I only buy nintendo on controllers, but I like the afterglow controllers, and while I wasn't interested in a wired one I'm a bit more interested in wireless. It's especially tempting because Nintendo apparently doesn't like money since they have not been doing more options on pro controllers!
