Mine is on the way. Really excited to finally get my hands on it! Just in time for Pokemon Sword/Shield, too..

@Ralizah Mine too, but I'm waiting in fear because I heard the drifting sticks are still a problem. :/

@Zeuseksy I haven't heard about masses of the things drifting. Some controller/handhelds/whatnot are always going to suffer from this. We won't know if it's a wider problem on the Lite for years, probably.

Looks nice, but I'm content with my V2. Still mildly concerned about potential drift problems to even consider purchasing a Lite. Although, heaven help me if Animal Crossing or Bayonetta 3 get a dedicated Lite similar to this.

That's A LOT of black between screen and bezel. Distracting, and waste of space. Base color is nice though.

@Ralizah That's the scary part. My standard switch joycon started drifting as soon as the warranty expired. Let's hope it doesn't happen with the Lite...

Got mine from Amazon Japan on Monday. My US one shipped today, so waiting on that

I much prefer the darker grey Lite with the white buttons. Much nicer contrast.

As someone who hasn't been following Sword & Shield all that much, my first thought was "Zamazawhatnow?"

I mean, at least the "Super Mario Maker for Nintendo 3DS Nintendo 2DS Super Mario Maker Edition" used words that won't summon an ancient demon into our realm.

If I was a bigger Pokémon fan then I would have caves and bought this already when Shopto were doing it cheaper, because it does look varry nyce.

I'm bound to hop on the Lite wagon eventually. A Mario Kart or Smash Bros. themed one would be right up my alley.

Yeah I saw this back when they were announcing the Switch Lite and I didn't really care for it then, and I still don't care for it now. The split colors doesn't work on the Switch Lite IMO.

Just not into the lite especially since I already have the normal switch. Now give me a cool new switch pro then maybe depending on the bump it gets if we get a switch pro.

I hope Nintendo treats the Switch Lite like the 3DS line and gives it endless limited editions. There is literally something for everyone in the 3DS line. I'm not a big enough Pokemon fan to buy this one but I'll watch out for others. If you are getting this, I hope you enjoy it.

Honestly, I'm really not a fan of the color scheme. Even if I liked the Switch Lite, this pastel blue and purple on grey... Yeah, not digging it.

Where are those colors in Sword and Shield? Like when I think about the games, pastel blue and purple are not remotely the colors that come to mind.

I'd have imagined a Sw/Sh theme'd console to have been navy blue with red and yellow. Or maybe steel grey with deep red and blue buttons.

I love the idea of a more portable Switch model, but the Lite doesn't really do it for me. I already own an OG Switch, and the Lite is only marginally smaller.

By 2021~ we should have a lot more color options and hopefully a couple new models.

I got the EU version of this preordered together with Pokémon Shield. I admit I was doubting the purchase for quite a while but it was that D-Pad that sold me. It won't replace my launch Switch unit; that one will stay in the dock more often.

I intend to grab one. I'll use it for trading with myself and those odd occasions where I might want to travel just a bit Liter.

@Heavyarms55 Where the hell are you seeing purple? I'm genuinely confused. Sky Blue for the Sword symbol, Hot Pink for the Shield symbol. Now granted, the Shield symbol could have been a bit more Red(ish)... still! Where the hell are you seeing purple?
