I still need to pick up the DLC and do a replay through especially before BoTW2 hits.

I recently grabbed Persona 4 golden for Vita, but if it came to switch I'd be more likely to play it there since i'd love to play it on my TV over portably. Also I'd consider double dipping on P5 Royal if it was on switch I have regular one on my PS4, but don't have the time for Royal at the moment, and still not sure if there is enough new stuff there to want to play through it.

@Iacobus I'm a big nintendo fan, but I just get tired of them putting out these peripherals to never touch them again most of the time by only making 1 game that uses them, it's hard to want to pick up one of these types of things when they do so little with it. I never quite got why nintendo doesn't support more of these products.

I'm not really into Animal Crossing, but it really does seem like they are trying to limit a lot of things people want from this. I don't understand why people would care so much even if there is such things as time manipulation in what is pretty much generally a single player game. I could understand if there was online multiplayer, but seriously Nintendo really likes to make their cloud saving pointless for almost any entry people want it in, and making it difficult to even get save info elsewhere. Any chance at me getting this game keeps going down with all these rules and stipulations they keep putting on the game.

Yep i just don't understand Ring Fit Adventure, I think it would be easier to think about getting it if you knew for sure they'd use the gimmick included with it in more than 1 game. Always some peripheral that gets used for one thing and then goes by the wasteside.

As soon as my free year is up from twitch prime special I will not be renewing unless they do more to keep me. The SNES games they added were a good start, but it's not enough at this point. They have really just done the bare minimum, while yes the price is cheap it feels like they have not put any of the money they are getting from it back into the product to push for more subs. I'd like to see more free games, more deals, and stuff like new themes added especially. Voice chat should be fixed as well, while I wouldn't really use it it's in a bad state.

Not getting any games, but thinking about grabbing Byleth & Hero tonight before I head to my buddies for the weekend where there will definitely be some smash action.

I played the heck out of the original Dungeon Defenders, and played some of the sequel, but had trouble enjoying it as much as the first one. This might be worth a shot. I think I could see this game being easily playable with a controller.

Imagine if they actually put more work into making the game better than it was it probably would have already outsold everything at this point. It's not a terrible game, but it just could be so much more if they put just a little bit more effort into the series. I'm hoping the expansions are better than buying a sequel or 3rd version of the game that they would usually do. Only time will tell, I generally have a lot of troubles coming back to games for DLC so that tends to be a problem with DLC as well.

I'm still waiting on Monster's crown that I kickstarted. For now no plans to kickstart anymore until i get some more of the games I've put money on in kickstarter. So far I've gotten 2 out of 5, with at least one of the titles i'm pretty sure will never come out, and my first one I did was an MMO that I think may eventually come out, but god knows when it will come out and what shape it will be in. I do think Monster's Crown will eventually release, but the creator has had medical issues.

When you think about cartridge rot it makes you think about the fact that some of these old games that are worth pretty good amounts of money are they worth continuing to hold onto when eventually they will be unplayable due to components going bad makes me sad. Then again I haven't played any of my super nintendo games from the games themselves in such a very long time due to going through various SNES & retron type systems that have crapped out on me, amazingly I still have a working N64 though lol.

The moment they took away national dex and being able to collect them all now gave me little reasons to want to pay for this. I did the bank a little bit, but hardly ever used it and only subscribed for 1 year. At least not everything is behind a pay wall like using at least 1 GTS at a time.

This is a game I want to pick up at some point it seems like one i'd like, but my backlog is super thick at the moment and afraid it would just go on the pile for now. I do think I might get it sooner than later in case it's one of those games that ends up hard to pick up later.

After watching the TV series I picked up the game on Steam on sale and look forward to giving it a go at some point, additionally I want to read the books now as well. A good work of fiction should drive you to check out everything about the universe so I think it's a good thing. However I do think his thinking is pretty "interesting" to say the least. I definitely feel the TV show will help sell more books though for those interested to see where the story is going since the games are more of a sequel.

I'd think they should get the controller as a bonus in addition to the prize money, I've heard nintendo was bad at prizes for tournaments, but that's really bad if it's true that it's just a controller. Also dang that sucks to just drop the controller, but being in that box i'm sure it offered it some cushion, and those pro controllers seem to be pretty strong overall even if it had landed on it directly which it wouldn't have with the box.

@Razer This news matters because it's a japanese based company, and a lot of the trends for games they produce are based on the japanese market so it is actually important. Just looking at the sales numbers alone you can see how much of a juggernaut japan is for nintendo's sales of this console when it's over 1/4 of the units sold most likely for one smaller nation.

I definitely feel some these games should be heavier on discount by now, especially with how old they are and how many times they've been released. If they were cheaper maybe i'd consider a triple dip at this point for my switch for something like Cave Story+.

@DLevene17 Yep was thinking the same thing anyone could take a shot in the wind that Byleth could be a potential fighter, now if they get Crash accurate as well then it might lend some more credence in their leak potential.

17th place for Tokyo Mirage Sessions seems bad, hopefully it does better in NA

I just don't understand why this isn't done for all regions, though in this case I already have the game physically when I picked it up on sale at some point. It's still in my backlog lol.

It seems like a pretty small list when you consider this is what' we've got for all of 2020 right now because we are lacking a direct, and not much here from nintendo themselves.

Interesting, I loved the base game only played through one path though being Black Eagles. I might come back at some point to check out other houses, or maybe this DLC would be tempting if you can play as that 4th house and see some new characters.

Definitely seems like a bit of a stretch, but odder things have come to smash. I think if we were to see the game ported over to switch somehow then maybe we'd have a chance at it.

I need to get back and finish this, I got impatient and finally just played through a majority of the game while on vacation in handheld mode. I had several issues when it was docked so maybe that stuff is mostly fixed when I get around to finishing it up.

I love 3 houses, but this doesn't seem like a great choice for the next Smash character, Personally I'm picking up on DLC characters I'm interested in and there is plenty of FE representation already. If they were going to do 3 houses would have been way more interesting to choose to do the 3 house leaders. It's a good thing there is going to be more characters or else this would have been a bit of a thud to finish off the roster.
@thesilverbrick I agree the music for the game is great to be added though!

Hoping I can get into the HD remaster, I tried playing it on 3DS and I just felt like I couldn't get into it too much. After enjoying XBC2 so much hoping a second look is going to make this much better now.

I was mildy interested in checking this out on Wii U didn't get it, decided to pull the trigger for it here, though it is going on the back burner while I work on some other stuff like Tales of Vesperia i'm working through and some PC stuff i'm also working on lol. Hoping I enjoy it.

Ugh where the heck is our first direct this stinks. I'd say at this point with the capcom announcement of DMC stuff on the 16th this pretty much all but confirms Dante for Smash. I like the choice, but I really want to know more about what Nintendo has planned this year. I'm not super into Smash DLC I only picked up Joker so far and Piranha plant since he was free. I don't know why you need a 35 minute video just for information on the smash character.

Definitely getting a bit tired of the overpriced ports, I'd maybe consider playing this, but not for 60. It's going to have to go down to at least 40 before i'll think about grabbing it.

So yeah I tried Miitomo and thought it wasn't very good let alone really much of a game. Any chance of putting a serious thought in games of the decade discussion came to a big halt by putting this on the list! I respect that someone can have an opinion about this, but there are so many great nintendo games that this really doesn't belong on something like this. I also did not like anything mii related for the most part. The whole mii thing never seemed like that good of an idea even.

I wonder if Tokyo Mirage sessions will even have any remote chance at number 1, I'd guess something will eventually knock it out this month or next.

@patbacknitro18 I wasn't the biggest fan of Zombie U, it felt a bit bland. I think it was only successful due to the time it came out at the beginning of Wii U lifecycle when there were less game options available. Just my opinion from playing it.

@rjejr Yeah I have a feeling they are going to charge more than bank was going for with this. As cheap as bank was it wasn't so big of a deal to pay for, but it feels like they are working on squeezing more and more money out of Pokemon now.

@readalie I have it pre-ordered it was just a comment because the games 8 days away and probably would have fit more on next weeks nintendo downloads instead . However there wasn't many games for this weeks downloads, and maybe that's why they included it early.

Only thing i've got so far for this year is Tokyo Mirage, whenever Xenoblade HD comes out i'll probably grab it to and hopefully get into it this time I had issues getting into the 3DS version I think i just wasn't in the mood for a handheld version of it.

Only thing about this is that really Dark souls comes from Demon's Soul, but the series in general has been a very big influence, and sadly most people don't say it's a Demon's Soul like experience. When you are basically identified as a genre you know it's been very influential.

I don't care very much for home, only things I might be quasi interested in would be DLC if it's cheap and worth it, and Diamond and Pearl Remakes.

If it's pretty cheap might consider it would be nice to replay some of my GBA games, but on my TV instead.

Since it's of the decade I guess I can understand a bit more, if 3 Houses had a bit more time I think it could replace it for some people. Personally I tried to play awakening, and got a little bit of play out of it, but it wasn't until 3 houses that I finally fully enjoyed a Fire Emblem game. Maybe I just enjoyed some of the simplifications of stuff there. However you also can't ignore Awakening reviving the FE franchise though.
