Re: Ubisoft Says The Original Rayman Legends Is "Staying Put"

@SalvorHardin oh, I know. Every game company does something really cool and a bunch of stuff that's really dumb and not even in their own best interests. I'm just making a list of good policy decisions for my future mega-corporation. I mean, I can't think of another good policy Ubisoft has implemented in a decade or more, but I wish that Sega and every other company would follow suit on this one. Preservation is important! Just ask a Doctor Who fan

@GoldenSunRM I love free roam mode, especially now that there's a tracker, but I just don't care about any of the rewards. I'm usually all about just doing things for the sake of a challenge, but a sticker that you can barely see on your kart feels almost like an insult. It feels like this is where you'd be getting parts to customize your kart, but that's been strangely removed entirely. It's not the world that feels empty, it's the game itself. Mind you, I still really love the game, it's just got a lot of baffling design choices holding it back.
Edit: and I'm real sore that you can't play free roam split screen, because that would be amazing.

I love MKW and it's probably my favorite entry in the franchise, but when Nintendo stated specifically that this was the big game that needed to be 80 dollars because it had so much content I was shocked at how little actual content there is. I was certain we would be getting periodic updates, that must be where the content is, right? I mean, surely Donkey Kong and Pauline will get additional outfits when Bananza comes out, right? I don't need new tracks, there are honestly plenty, but there's still so much... emptiness. I still love it but it kind of seems abandoned.

Re: Switch 2 Rating For Bethesda's Newest IP Appears Online

I was going to say that part of the reason many games ported to PS5 run like crap is because Sony doesn't play nice when getting ports from Microsoft (Minecraft for PS4 was a years long debacle, and it STILL doesn't run right,) and almost seems to sabotage any crossplay they get (not relevant to this game, just an example of Sony's "does not play well with others" ethos,) but then I remembered this is a Bethesda game and it will never be fixed because they're all built like Rube Goldberg Machines. I'mma' get it.

@StarCollector oh yeah I know the deal with the switch 1 version, I just know that for a long while there the bedrock version, which is the console version, had done really serious corruption bugs that they didn't address for a really long time. It went on for so long that it got to the point where 99% of the replies on any social media post by the Minecraft team was just "fix bedrock" and other variations of that. I was getting ready to start a new world with a friend of mine and we had to quit.
