@progx it has been confirmed and reconfirmed countless times that the only available size (until today apparently) was 64 gb.

@Mirage-5x5 wait until he calls her the master of unlocking. I know I've spoiled it for you, but you'll probably still pee your pants a little when you get to that part- it's just that terrifying.

While its gameplay is typically not described favorably, this game's story and aesthetics have seen near universal praise. Some people seem to hate it a disproportionate amount and I can't seem to figure out why.

Looks great. Maybe slightly divisive, but it seems to be really well liked by those who found it. I'm certainly going to be giving it a go.

Village was a great game, but it starts on a really high note and it's all downhill from Lady Demetrescu's castle. If Capcom has any idea what they're doing they need to bring her back. I don't care if it's fan service, she's the most compelling villain in the series by far.

@shgamer it's capped at 30 fps and in my experience it crashes nonstop on Switch 2.

@JohnnyMind good choice on 4. It's the only game in the series I've enjoyed, but it's probably still in my top 10 games of all time.

Paramount would be worse.

Hoping for a switch 2 version soon myself. I know it took years for PS5 to get it, but remember, PS4 used legacy console edition for years while Switch had bedrock and crossplay. Sony was likely the hurdle, and that's not true of Nintendo. Microsoft and Nintendo had a whole marketing campaign together mocking Sony over it.

@Polvasti I like your optimism, but to put that into perspective, The original Psychonauts came out only 3 years before they announced beyond good and evil 2. So this game has been in DEVELOPMENT for longer than the entire gap between both Psychonauts games.

It's been so long since the first game that some of the people who worked on the first one could have died of old age. Nobody wants this anymore, even if they think they do.

The one day I didn't check, it happened.

@MrCarlos46 lol sorry I figured that was the case but it did take me a lot longer than I'd care to admit to figure it out. I just really enjoy the concept of "Polish Brazilian Portuguese" as a language. Hopefully we'll get Mario Maker 3 and it will have support for these languages. Portuguese in particular is a terrible omission, it's one of the most widely spoken languages on the planet. It's not like these are massive RPGs with walls of text to read through, there's no excuse in this day and age not to include these languages.

@ShadLink not everyone who reads reviews is a 733t g4m3rz like you. Casual fans and the younger crowd might see Kirby and think "easy kid game," and being warned that this might not be for them is a service that some critics are inclined to provide.

The dev kit situation is an embarrassment.

This game gets a lot of hate from the civ community but as of patch 1.2.5 it surpassed civ iv as my favorite entry. I love everything about this game (except for certain aspects of the UI that, while improved greatly in the last two patches still has a long way to go) and the future looks even brighter.

For everyone saying GTA 6, I believe what Miyamoto is saying here is that Mario Kart will remain the best selling franchise on the Nintendo Switch 2. As of today, November 6, 2025, GTA 6 has not been announced for the Nintendo Switch 2.

As of 2:22 pm EST on October 30, 2026 10% of respondents to the first question stated that they would not be playing the game. In the second question 16% say they aren't playing. Which is it, people? I need to know.

@Pillowpants I played it back then too but picked it up on sale for Switch 2. I didn't expect to fire it up, I just bought it because it was so cheap. I played it for hours a day for like 3 months, it's like a sequel to what I played back then. More like the sequel to another sequel even. I'm not going to try to talk you into playing it again, but it's really good.

@HingryHuppo it doesn't wake the Switch 2 yet though. It's still my favorite controller.

@ShieldHero firstly, they didn't have copyright laws during the Renaissance. That said, if somebody was copying someone else exactly and presenting it as their own work, that would still be messed up. But wait, there's more! During earlier periods, like the baroque era and Renaissance, resources like pigments and tools were severely limited, so their color palettes and techniques might make them look similar to the layperson, but I can assure you that it's incredibly easy to tell the difference between a Botticelli and a Bosch. Certain eras and regions even had religious rules governing the creation of art. For example, a very large amount of baroque music is composed in 3/4 or 3/2 time because these signatures were thought to invoke the holy trinity. Today these works might sound samey, since most of our popular music is in 4/4 time, but this is all a matter of perspective. It is from this modern perspective that most people here seem to have come to the conclusion that this "art" for the game described looks like a screenshot from animal crossing.

From the makers of the rpg that inspired Undertale? Yes please. I didn't know they made a new one, so this is good news for me! I should probably play Moon at some point, too. Or maybe finish Undertale. Dear lord my backlog is insane. There are still nes games on it ffs

@IronMan30 I remember when the Wii came out and everyone was whining about Nintendo always making underpowered consoles and it was literally the first time they'd ever done it.

It's good. I got it just to support full games on cart (and partially because I wanted a physical Switch 2 game since I got the MKW digital bundle) but I really enjoyed it and I'm not a fan of FPS games at all.

Five bucks for dragon's dogma is a steal. I'm still hoping for 2 on Switch 2. Maybe that's why it's going to be at TGS?

@LikelySatan A lot of people don't like the limits that the energy system put on you in the beginning, but you can upgrade your tools very shortly after starting, and you level up pretty quickly, too. If you dislike the way it feels though, I get that. It's kind of clunky in a SNES kinda way and it didn't feel great to me at first. But if you've given it a fair shake it's safe to say it's not for you. I'll say that I pretty much hated it at first but my wife was enjoying it (she wasn't a gamer at the time) so I stuck with it. Now I own the soundtrack on vinyl and it's in my top 5 games of all time.
