From the makers of the rpg that inspired Undertale? Yes please. I didn't know they made a new one, so this is good news for me! I should probably play Moon at some point, too. Or maybe finish Undertale. Dear lord my backlog is insane. There are still nes games on it ffs
@IronMan30 I remember when the Wii came out and everyone was whining about Nintendo always making underpowered consoles and it was literally the first time they'd ever done it.
It's good. I got it just to support full games on cart (and partially because I wanted a physical Switch 2 game since I got the MKW digital bundle) but I really enjoyed it and I'm not a fan of FPS games at all.
@LikelySatan A lot of people don't like the limits that the energy system put on you in the beginning, but you can upgrade your tools very shortly after starting, and you level up pretty quickly, too. If you dislike the way it feels though, I get that. It's kind of clunky in a SNES kinda way and it didn't feel great to me at first. But if you've given it a fair shake it's safe to say it's not for you. I'll say that I pretty much hated it at first but my wife was enjoying it (she wasn't a gamer at the time) so I stuck with it. Now I own the soundtrack on vinyl and it's in my top 5 games of all time.
@StewdaMegaManNerd Anti-Matter knows his stuff regardless of his ownership status and he didn't mention whether he participated in the poll. Regardless, he did choose a title that he does have access to.
@AverageGamer I'm playing devil's advocate here because obviously this wouldn't make much sense, but Bananza is widely loved by pretty much everyone and MKW, a game Nintendo claimed had enough content to demand an $80 price tag is being derided by its player base for not having enough content. It could be reasoned (poorly) that Nintendo would prefer MKW to win, proving that it's worth every penny and the naysayers are full of it. For my money, if Nintendo did any bribing (they most certainly didn't) it would have been to have them bother awarding Switch 2 games at all since there are so few that I own almost all of them, which is not a feat.
@Bunkerneath I had that on the Sega Master System back in the late 80s (I'm one of the few Americans who owned one.) It was really quite a good game for its era. The first part, at least. The tower level can kiss my
@Wewewi oh wow that's different. The original problem was that docks using their own power supply provided too much power and overloaded the system. I have an extra Switch 2 power supply so I was going to look into one of the ones that runs on that but I guess there's still reason to be skeptical. TBH I'm sure most are okay but I just don't need one badly enough, however minimal the actual risk. Maybe in a year or two.
I really want one of these but somebody is going to really have to do some convincing to get me to risk third party docks. Judging from the comment section I'm not alone in fearing these docks.

@Bass_X0 Even Street Fighter II got updates. I personally had "Street Fighter 2 Turbo" on SNES and a year later they put one out that had 4 new fighters, like Cammy. Oh, and it (SF2T) cost $80.00 back in 1994.
@Pillowpants I wonder if there's some value in that for the performers. I imagine that, at least for some people, already being a huge fan of the material might create some blocks and inhibit experimentation. I doubt we would have gotten such a commanding performance from Tim Curry in Red Alert 3 if he was a gamer himself.
The game gets more difficult and complex as you go along. If you haven't gotten the second Bananza yet, you're basically still in the tutorial. 9 for me, I'm at SL800 i think? Maybe about halfway through I would estimate since I don't have all the Bananza yet.

Five bucks for dragon's dogma is a steal. I'm still hoping for 2 on Switch 2. Maybe that's why it's going to be at TGS?

@StewdaMegaManNerd no harm done. You're right about most of these votes coming from people who don't own the console for sure.

Nintendo being stingy with dev kits is already biting them in the ass. It's ridiculous that they're still not widely available yet.
