They already have me sold, but if they manage to add in co-op/multiplayer, like having both Mario and Luigi on the boxart suggests... that would be insane.
Would love a port of SSX Tricky or 3 but would probably be difficult due to music licensing. SSX on PS3 seriously sucked (wasn't any fun), so I'd love it if they did another shot at it and made it... fun.
1. Amaterasu - The most unique, would have hilarious taunts 2. Joe - Cool mechanics 3. Wonder Red - haven't played 101 yet (sorry) 4. Dante - too many anime boys, too many swordfighters, too much like Bayo
Does anyone know if the game lets you keep the pokemon you've caught as a second player through co-op? So let's say I'm the second player, catch a bunch of pokemon and quit the game. Then I join back in at some later point, will the pokemon still be there?
It's an alright addition, but I'd much rather have an "endless" or "chill" mode with all the different recipes mixed. Now that would really keep me coming back for more Overcooked.
If you have friends over for local multiplayer, this game is an absolute blast.
It's a bit short on content, so I'm happy they're going to keep updating it for the first year. It kinda seemed like there's some new single player content too based on that trailer?
Child of Light's definitely one of the best RPG's I've ever played. Highly recommended to everyone. Not sure if I'll pick it up a second time but I'm hoping that Child of Light II document is a tease rather than a troll.
I'm seeing framerate issues pop up on various sites and threads, bit weird that this isn't covered in the review especially given how unforgiving the game is. Apparently the developers have commented they'll only patch the game if enough people complain? Odd.
As for the IGN debacle, they handled it well, let's not celebrate that someone lost their job, though.
@krvstkvlt First Overcooked doesn't have online, I wouldn't get it for single player personally. This one does have online, but there's no voicechat on Switch.
Some of the moving kitchens in Overcooked 1 were a lot of fun, because you got to move them yourself for example (space levels). The ones that were worst were the ones that changed without giving any indication they were going to, and then completely ruin your chances to get a 3-star rating.
I did beat the original game all the way but I felt like some poor levels, the harsh star requirements and the occasionally inaccurate controls (which thankfully has been fixed in 2) soured what would otherwise be a 10/10.
Played a couple of levels this morning, it looks like they made some solid improvements.
What I didn't see right away but I was really hoping they'd add is an endless mode or something that lets you do a ton of different recipes (focusing on cooking and cooperation rather than level obstacles).
Gotto agree with @Damo that art style really isn't working for it. Feels so early 2000's edgy with cheap DeviantArt character design and poor animation to boot. Since the Switch has an insane library and I've got a 70+ games wishlist, it's a pass from me.
I'm pretty good at shmups so I have no clue why I suck at this game, but it's kind of a bummer only seeing like 1/3 of the enemy types and bosses. I guess now there's even more content that I can't see, yay.
15 hours in, what a masterpiece. It can feel a little padded at times (endless hallways with the same monsters) but the gorgeous environments and unsettling feeling make it all worth it. They absolute nailed it. Pun intended.

@mazzel @electrolite77 @Friendly @gortsi you know there's an ignore button, right?
Re: Get Great Discounts On Top Multiplayer Switch Games With The 'Play Together' Sale In Europe
Captain Toad and Guacamelee 2 for me.
I highly recommend Use Your Words and Crypt of the Necrodancer for those insanely low prices.
Re: Overcooked 2 Celebrates The Chinese New Year With A Free Update And Survival Mode
Survival Mode sounds awesome! Really glad the developers are listening and adding some new modes.
Re: Get Up To 66% Off Some "Weird And Wonderful" Switch Games In Nintendo's Latest Sale
Lovers in a Dangerous Spacetime is a highly recommended co-op game to those that don't have it yet.
Personally, I'm a lil' interested in Pool Party but otherwise most of these games aren't too high on my wishlist.
Re: Feature: 17 Remasters We'd Love To See On Switch In 2019

Re: Feature: Vote For Your 2018 Nintendo Game Of The Year
Hollow Knight, Furi and Night in the Woods. Played a ton of games from 2017, though. Smash, Overcooked and Aces for multiplayer games.
Not a huge fan of the categories. Wonder how much % even played 3 3DS games this year that they think are worth "game of the year".
Re: Nintendo Goes Discount Crazy With More Than 600 Games Now On Sale In Europe
I recommend Thumper for €8, it's my #3 favourite game on Switch (after BotW and Hollow Knight). I'm considering picking up Mario + Rabbids for €20.
EDIT: Also Furi is well worth €10 if you like a challenge.
Re: Video: An In-Depth Look At Degrees Of Separation, A Beautiful Co-Op Platformer Coming To Switch
Sounds like it has some great gameplay mechanics. But man, the animation and physics look rough.
Re: Random: Hideki Kamiya Asks Which Of His Characters You'd Like To See In Smash Bros.
1. Amaterasu - The most unique, would have hilarious taunts
2. Joe - Cool mechanics
3. Wonder Red - haven't played 101 yet (sorry)
4. Dante - too many anime boys, too many swordfighters, too much like Bayo
Re: Review: Rival Megagun - A Unique Competitive Shmup That Is Perfectly At Home On Switch
@janpampoen How do you feel about shmup?
Re: Travis Strikes Again: No More Heroes' Physical Edition Officially Confirmed, Will Include Season Pass
Absolutely love No More Heroes, but like almost everyone else I'm extremely cautious about what we've seen of Travis Strikes Back so far.
Re: Review: Pokémon: Let's Go, Pikachu! and Let's Go, Eevee! - The Perfect Entry Point For Newcomers, A Nostalgia Trip For Veterans

Re: Review: Pokémon: Let's Go, Pikachu! and Let's Go, Eevee! - The Perfect Entry Point For Newcomers, A Nostalgia Trip For Veterans
How's co-op? Does the second player get to play through the game and keep all the pokemon they've caught?
Re: Review: Child of Light: Ultimate Edition - A Painterly Action RPG Which Still Shines Four Years On
Highly recommended! I can't wait for Child of Light 2
Re: Overcooked 2's Mysterious Update Revealed, Brand New Surf 'n' Turf DLC Available Right Now
This DLC is a lot tougher than the main game, but I'm having an absolute blast. Still hoping for that endless mode with all recipes mixed, though.
Re: Overcooked 2 Will Receive New Game+ Mode To Heat Things Up In The Kitchen Next Month
It's an alright addition, but I'd much rather have an "endless" or "chill" mode with all the different recipes mixed. Now that would really keep me coming back for more Overcooked.

Re: Nintendo Download: 13th September (North America)
Undertale for now, probably Bastion when it's discounted.
Re: Limited Run Games Locks In Physical Release Dates For Furi And Golf Story
I'm playing through Furi now and it's fantastic, highly recommended if you like the No More Heroes boss battles, Bayonetta or bullet-hells.
Re: Untitled Goose Game Looks Like It'll Be A Honking Good Time On Switch
This looks fantastic, I'm 99% sold on it already
Re: Rodent-Based Beat ‘Em Up Game Hamsterdam Launches Kickstarter For Switch Version
Hard pass.
@DTFaux Lest we forget: Hollow Knight.
Re: Turn Up The Heat In The Kitchen With Overcooked 2's New Game Plus Mode
Endless mode please something relaxing with lots of recipes so I don't have to yell at my girlfriend to chop faster
Re: Praise The Sun! Dark Souls: Remastered On Switch Has A Confirmed Release Date
Ah yes, that sweet summer month of October
Re: Motion Twin Apologises For Frame Rate Drops In Switch Version Of Dead Cells
I'll pick it up when they've patched it.
Re: The Euro Nintendo Summer Sale Continues With Up To 80% Off Lots Of Switch And 3DS Games
Crypt of the Necrodancer (60% off) and maybe Danmaku Unlimited 3 or Floor Kids for me.
Re: Review: Minit (Switch eShop)
I find it very hard to believe the constant rebooting doesn't get grating after, like, 10 deaths.
Re: Ubisoft Is Releasing Two Hand-Drawn Adventures On Switch Later This Year
Child of Light's definitely one of the best RPG's I've ever played. Highly recommended to everyone. Not sure if I'll pick it up a second time but I'm hoping that Child of Light II document is a tease rather than a troll.
Re: Review: Okami HD (Switch eShop)
How are the motion controls? I figured I'll probably mostly play it in handheld mode given that Okamiden's touch controls were fantastic.
Re: Review: Dead Cells (Switch)

Re: Review: Dead Cells (Switch)
How's the framerate, does it hold up? I heard some rumours about it not hitting 60 fps when things are busy but I figured that was BS?
Re: Tied Together Is A "Crazy" Co-Op Platformer Headed To Nintendo Switch
Looks like a more annoying version of Ibb & Obb
Re: Review: Overcooked 2 (Switch)

Re: Talking Point: What Are You Playing This Weekend? (August 4th)
Hollow Knight! I'm at the final boss (I think?) but there's plenty of stuff to do, still.
Highly recommend everyone to download the Yoku's Island Expres demo!
Re: Review: Salt and Sanctuary (Switch eShop)
Gotto agree with @Damo that art style really isn't working for it. Feels so early 2000's edgy with cheap DeviantArt character design and poor animation to boot. Since the Switch has an insane library and I've got a 70+ games wishlist, it's a pass from me.
Re: Nintendo Download: 2nd August (Europe)
Iconoclasts for now. Maybe Guns, Gore & Cannoli 2 later on.
People calling games they don't know shovelware is pretty damn annoying.
Re: Review: Iconoclasts (Switch eShop)
Yeah, definitely picking this up
Re: A Free Demo For Yoku's Island Express Is Now Available On Switch
I also highly recommend the game, it's such a nice mix of exploration and arcade-y gameplay.
Re: Mario Tennis Aces Version 1.2.0 Adds The Much-Wanted Mission Retry Feature And More
Hopefully this game will get some actual post-launch content cause it kinda needs it.
Re: Get Up To 60% Off Lots Of Fantastic Games In The Euro Nintendo Switch Summer Sale
Picked up Rayman Legends and Furi. Maybe Toki Tori.
Has anyone here played The Adventure Pals in co-op? It looks pretty fun but the co-op part is make it or break it for me.
Oh and I highly recommend Use Your Words as a party game, €6 is a steal.
Re: Review: Go Vacation (Switch)
I'd love it if Nintendo makes another Wii Sports for Switch. Couch multiplayer goodness!
Re: Hands On: Things Are Hotting Up In The Kitchen Thanks To Overcooked 2
I really hope there's a endless / chill mode where you just have to cook a whole variety of recipes for as long as you want. And tons more recipes.
Re: Enter The Gungeon's Free Expansion Is Now Live With Bucket Loads Of New Content
I'm pretty good at shmups so I have no clue why I suck at this game, but it's kind of a bummer only seeing like 1/3 of the enemy types and bosses. I guess now there's even more content that I can't see, yay.
Re: Review: Heroki (Switch eShop)
@KIRO I'd recommend Yoku's Island Express if you haven't played it already.
Re: Review: Adventure Time: Pirates of the Enchiridion (Switch)
So, the best Adventure Time game is still Adventure Pals? Bummer, there's so much potential there.
Re: Hollow Knight: Gods & Glory Arrives On Switch August 23rd
15 hours in, what a masterpiece. It can feel a little padded at times (endless hallways with the same monsters) but the gorgeous environments and unsettling feeling make it all worth it. They absolute nailed it. Pun intended.
