People defending this game should look up some footage of LA Noire and compare the two. It runs smoother, in a higher resolution with way better textures and lighting.

I really hope they fix it through updates because this would've been a day 1 buy for me if it wasn't so crap.

Or just give us a port of Chinatown Wars, that was a great game.

Rockstar should've delayed the game or picked a different development team with a better track record.

I always wish Treasure had a chance to work on a popular franchise like Star Fox. Based on the sequel to this game they'd do an amazing job.

@Clyde_Radcliffe It reminds me of the shrines in Breath of the Wild, it's entirely physics-based and it's fun to just mess around.

30 million? I thought this was a niche game. Through humble bundle and things like that, maybe? Either way, really fun.

I'm considering spending a coupon (so, €50) on Skyward Sword since it's my favourite pre-BotW Zelda, but I do agree that it's overpriced.

I don't blame EA, they're transparent about what they're doing (it even says so on the eshop page), I blame the people buying the game anyway. Enough for it to be a top seller every year in Europe.

It wasn't as bad as Twilight Princess' dreadfully slow start, but I'm still happy they're streamlining this. Between this and Fi's unwanted advice they're doing a pretty good job convincing me to pick it up again.

Treasure should make a Star Fox game, they'd be perfect at that. They make great games, but they sell poorly so they should attach a stronger IP to it.

I'm still trying to get into this game. Its world is amazing and its writing is great, but its combat and gameplay loop aren't grabbing me. Kinda bummed I paid full price for it, I was hoping it'd give me the "adventure feel" that BotW and RDR2 give me.

Just what I was hoping! Nintendo isn't splitting up their Switch audience with games that some people can and can't play. Just bring a real successor in like 2 years with PS4-quality graphics.

10/10 for Prime, Prime 3, Trilogy, Super Metroid, Zero Mission and Fusion. This is one of my favourite franchises, for sure.

8/10 for Prime 2 and Samus Returns, great games but not quite as good as others in the series.

7/10 for Other M which was fun, but had an awful story and was pretty ugly.

Cutting the Fi explanations will cut the game by 2 hours, and it’ll be so much better for it.

Definitely keep these articles coming!

People interested in a good Monkey Ball game should check out Marble It Up! and Glyph (thanks @AlexOlney), both great indie ball-rolling games with fantastic level designs. Glyph is more about bouncing/air time though.

Given that the vast majority of the dozens of titles will be completely unknown to virtually everyone one, maybe add some screenshots or trailers?

I like the game but dislike that an exercise where you casually twist your wrist does 3 times as much damage as an exercise that actually tires you out, like doing 70 squats. I ended up giving up on the game after like 7 worlds because the game was forcing me to do gimmicky new moves instead of the exercises I wanted to do.

Hope they add ring con modes to more games, I'd love to work out while playing BotW2.

Tony Hawk for sure (might wait on a discount though) and Game Builder Garage if it lives up to its potential.

This game's seriously underappreciated, it's one of the best 3D platformers on the system.

Awful demo for beginners, they should really work on making it more accessible for new players. So it's a pass for me.

I'm expecting a lot of skin swaps with the main game, but we'll see! The original game was fun but fizzled out a bit for me due to repetitive content.

It sounds like it has potential; it looks like it needs a lot of work.

I assume they're buying full-priced games day 1 (which have gone up to $70 recently for the new generation) and buying all the services (Nintendo's the cheapest, but also does the least). That plus the energy bills makes them the cheapest? Not really a fair comparison, though.

6/10, would've been a 7 if it hadn't been this long or if we had more to look forward to this year. Not many games that are to my taste, Fall Guys looks fun and I'll keep an eye on Mario Golf and Neon White. I'll pick up Skyward Sword when it's on sale. Splatoon 3 is a cool announcement, but they should've showed off some of the single player stuff.

Love the game, definitely want to play it again, but not for $60.
IMO it does have the best dungeons, items and sword combat in any of the Zelda games. I'll wait for a sale, which will take years.

Bowser's Fury turned out to be an absolute delight, combining Odyssey's freedom with a much stronger focus on platforming and skill. It's not worth the full price (what 5 hour game is?) but since I was expecting an hour long with content repeated from 3D World, I was pleasantly surprised. I was originally hoping for Galaxy 3 next but now I'm hoping they use this format.

@Rambler That's correct, it's a region that isn't in the main game and you're free to explore it. Good call by Ubisoft.
