@Felixfromdownunder I've heard putting your Switch in airplane mode fixes this, and if it's the one after you fly the plane, doing barrel rolls consistently towards the end.
@imgrowinglegs Interesting, they've been on my wishlist but the artstyle and supposed difficulty have been holding me back, might pick 'em up if they get another good deal, thanks for the heads up!
Love the Adventure Time art-style and character design. I heard the first 2 are very difficult but if this one is more laid-back I'll probably pick it up sooner or later.
Fantastic list! I’d definitely add the criminally underappreciated Red Steel 2. Could maybe work with a Skyward Sword-esque controls in handheld, or make it Docked Only.
People defending this game should look up some footage of LA Noire and compare the two. It runs smoother, in a higher resolution with way better textures and lighting.
I really hope they fix it through updates because this would've been a day 1 buy for me if it wasn't so crap.
Or just give us a port of Chinatown Wars, that was a great game.
Them not releasing a single second of Switch footage and the review embargo being on release day are not great signs. No way I'm buying it until I'm seeing at least some footage.
I don't blame EA, they're transparent about what they're doing (it even says so on the eshop page), I blame the people buying the game anyway. Enough for it to be a top seller every year in Europe.
It wasn't as bad as Twilight Princess' dreadfully slow start, but I'm still happy they're streamlining this. Between this and Fi's unwanted advice they're doing a pretty good job convincing me to pick it up again.
Treasure should make a Star Fox game, they'd be perfect at that. They make great games, but they sell poorly so they should attach a stronger IP to it.
I'm still trying to get into this game. Its world is amazing and its writing is great, but its combat and gameplay loop aren't grabbing me. Kinda bummed I paid full price for it, I was hoping it'd give me the "adventure feel" that BotW and RDR2 give me.
I'm curious how this isn't copyright infringement? Is he paying Nintendo for using their characters? Getting paid to draw fanart sounds like a dream come true, good on him.
Just what I was hoping! Nintendo isn't splitting up their Switch audience with games that some people can and can't play. Just bring a real successor in like 2 years with PS4-quality graphics.
People interested in a good Monkey Ball game should check out Marble It Up! and Glyph (thanks @AlexOlney), both great indie ball-rolling games with fantastic level designs. Glyph is more about bouncing/air time though.
I like the game but dislike that an exercise where you casually twist your wrist does 3 times as much damage as an exercise that actually tires you out, like doing 70 squats. I ended up giving up on the game after like 7 worlds because the game was forcing me to do gimmicky new moves instead of the exercises I wanted to do.
Hope they add ring con modes to more games, I'd love to work out while playing BotW2.
I assume they're buying full-priced games day 1 (which have gone up to $70 recently for the new generation) and buying all the services (Nintendo's the cheapest, but also does the least). That plus the energy bills makes them the cheapest? Not really a fair comparison, though.

Re: Nintendo's New Year Sale 2022 Is Live On Switch eShop, Up To 75% Off (Europe)
Death's Door been at the top of my wislist so I jumped on that one. Considering Banana Mania, Boomerang X, Fire Emblem and Phoenix Wright.

Fun trailer btw, definitely worth a watch!
Re: Nintendo Announces Massive Sale, 1000+ Games Up To 75% Off (Europe)
Looks like the regular crowd so far to me, but I'm sure my 300+ games wishlist will have some good deals. I've been eyeing Baba Is You.
But 35% off on Hot Wheels sounds promising, too!
Re: Review: Unsighted - A Fantastic Top-Down Metroidvania With A Warm, Vintage Feel
The demo's well worth a shot, I immediately put the game on my wishlist after playing it.

Re: Rockstar Apologises For GTA Trilogy Issues, First Of Multiple Updates Due In 'Coming Days'
Ah yes, “unexpected technical issues”. So why didn’t you send out any review copies or show any gameplay footage again?
@The_Pixel_King I’m curious what you mean by “no matter how much they probably deserve it”?

Re: GTA Trilogy Dev Responds To Fan Frustrations, Says Updates Are Already In The Works
Rockstar should've delayed the game or picked a different development team with a better track record.
Re: Nintendo Download: 11th November (Europe)
Where's the GTA review? Did you guys not get an advanced copy? Is the embargo not up until after release day?
Re: Top-Down Roguelite 'Tunnel Of Doom' Digs Its Way To Switch Next Month

Loquaciousness! Those word-of-the-day calendars are great, aren't they?
Re: Nintendo Talks About Its Future And Reconfirms Next Gaming System Is Coming In "20XX"
I'll go with late 2023, 6 years seems like a good run.
Re: Review: Sin and Punishment - A Genuine Treasure And No Mistake
I always wish Treasure had a chance to work on a popular franchise like Star Fox. Based on the sequel to this game they'd do an amazing job.
Re: Review: LEGO Marvel Super Heroes - Still One Of The Best Lego Games
Defintely picking it up! ... When it's like $10-20
And definitely agreeing with some of these comments, Lego City Undercover is amazing!

An umbrella, brilliant
Re: Best Nintendo Switch Roguelikes, Roguelites And Run-Based Games

Re: Grand Theft Auto: The Trilogy Gets Confirmed Release Date, First Trailer And Screenshots
Sounds and looks good! Not sure about $60-good, but I'll pick it up sooner or later. Can't believe they never ported GTA V.

Every silver lining has a cloud
Re: Human: Fall Flat Celebrates 30 Million Sales And New Level Reveal On Fifth Anniversary
@Clyde_Radcliffe It reminds me of the shrines in Breath of the Wild, it's entirely physics-based and it's fun to just mess around.
Re: Human: Fall Flat Celebrates 30 Million Sales And New Level Reveal On Fifth Anniversary
30 million? I thought this was a niche game. Through humble bundle and things like that, maybe? Either way, really fun.
Re: Nintendo Download: 15th July (Europe)
I'm considering spending a coupon (so, €50) on Skyward Sword since it's my favourite pre-BotW Zelda, but I do agree that it's overpriced.
Re: The First Review For The Legend Of Zelda: Skyward Sword HD Is Now In
Famitsu doesn't count

Re: Poll: What's The Best Metroid Game?
10/10 for Prime, Prime 3, Trilogy, Super Metroid, Zero Mission and Fusion. This is one of my favourite franchises, for sure.
8/10 for Prime 2 and Samus Returns, great games but not quite as good as others in the series.
7/10 for Other M which was fun, but had an awful story and was pretty ugly.
Re: Here's How Nintendo Is Improving Zelda: Skyward Sword HD Over The Wii Original
Cutting the Fi explanations will cut the game by 2 hours, and it’ll be so much better for it.

Re: Poll: Mario Golf: Super Rush Is Out Today On Switch, Are You Getting It?
Tony Hawk for me as well. I hope they'll do a free week for this one like they did with Aces. Otherwise, maybe on a sale.

@Yodalovesu MercurySteam, same developers as Samus Returns

So here's hoping this one's good!

Re: Video: 14 Exciting New Games Coming To Nintendo Switch In June
Tony Hawk for sure (might wait on a discount though) and Game Builder Garage if it lives up to its potential.
Re: Glyph
This game's seriously underappreciated, it's one of the best 3D platformers on the system.
Re: Nintendo Thanks Fans For Celebrating Mario's 35th Anniversary

Re: Poll: Monster Hunter Rise Is Out Today On Switch, Are You Getting It?
Awful demo for beginners, they should really work on making it more accessible for new players. So it's a pass for me.
Re: Immortals Fenyx Rising's Second DLC Expansion Launches Later This Month
I'm expecting a lot of skin swaps with the main game, but we'll see! The original game was fun but fizzled out a bit for me due to repetitive content.
Re: Introducing Pokémon Legends: Arceus, An Open-World Prequel To Diamond And Pearl
It sounds like it has potential; it looks like it needs a lot of work.
