Next month is shaping up to be something special with quite a number of exciting Nintendo Switch releases. One of these games happens to be the Ubisoft title Mario + Rabbids Sparks of Hope.
If you're looking forward to this, you'll be pleased to hear the game has now officially "gone gold". It means the main development of the game is now done, and it's all ready for the 26th October physical and digital release (pre-orders are available now). Of course, there's still room for launch updates and more when it is finally made available.
As part of post-launch support, Ubisoft has announced a Season Pass and Gold Edition for Sparks of Hope. This includes a third DLC update starring Rayman. This was announced earlier this month, alongside a look at a Wiggler boss battle.
Will you be picking up Sparks of Hope on release? Have you played the first game yet? Tell us down below.

Maybe not on release, but most likely for Christmas. I need to put all my focus on Xenoblade 3 before Pokémon releases.
Question : Will you be picking up Sparks of Hope on release?
Me : Maybe later, not day one. I still busy to build my PS3, PS4 & PS5 games library.
Question : Have you played the first game yet?
Me : Yes, but I still haven't finished yet.
I've always been a big fan of the "gone gold" announcements from way back when, but when the game gets news of the THIRD DLC having Rayman in it, well "gone gold" barely means anything anymore.😝
I'll wait for the price drop, 90€ für the Gold Edition is insane
Preordered, can't wait. The newest footage the recent Ubisoft Forward made me even more hyped, game looks bigger and better than the first.
Yes, cant wait for this gem.
Ubisoft dev gone gold with this game.
One of the few games I’ve ever preordered. They’ve earned that trust with their first release.
@DarkFighter Regular edition is a respectable 50 euro.
The Gold Edition includes the Season Pass (all upcoming DLC).
Pre-ordered the Gold Edition as soon as it was available. The first game is in my top 3 Switch games for sure! And the DLC for that one must have been one of the most expansive (while still being fun!) DLC's in decades!
@Jeronan yeah I know. but I got Kingdom Battle Gold Edition for 25€, so I'm not willing to pay more than 30€ for this 😁
@rjejr I'm pretty sure "gone gold" means "we've started working on the day 1 patch"
@DarkFighter Then it's just a matter of waiting till the first inevitable Ubisoft sale.
Well considering how it has a Gold Edition I'd bloody hope so!
Still haven't changed my mind on it being a bargain bin title for me now.
@Mrkittyhead same here! right now I have 15 hours..
@Yosher Same for me. It's one of those rare occassions you'll ever be able to get a Mario title at a hefty discount at some point!
waiting for the release to see the review I loved the first one!! and the second looks like is on steroid, but I need to see how no man skies will performance, and decided which one i will get first kk augh dilemma
pre-ordered from base.com £42 something, so happy with that. As for the DLC, will wait and see? With regards to the game, the first one was great and this looks fantastic, so more than happy with the pre-order! As for playing on day one, that depends on if I can tear myself away from Splatoon 3???? Regards, Splatman
Can’t wait for this.
So excited for this but holding out for the inevitable sale! Looks fantastic
Maybe I'll get the base game and the DLC later on. Probably won't go for the Gold Edition since it will most likely be the base game on the cart and a download code, like in Kingdom Battle.
Not to mention, 1400 Mexican pesos is too much for a game I'm not even sure if I'll commit to when I have it. It's a Ubisoft game, so it shouldn't be too long before I find it for a decent price.
@chardir "we've started working on the day 1 patch"
Sad but true.
I’m not buying that crappy new fake mario game with the dumb lookin rabbids, it looks terrible just like the last one
