Re: Poll: So, How Would You Rate The Nintendo Direct Partner Showcase?

I said 3. I wasn't really interested in most of the stuff. The stuff I am interested in was already revealed previously (Unicorn Overlord, Another Crab's Treasure, Penny's Big Breakaway).

I haven't played a Monkey Ball game since 2 for the Gamecube. The reviews I read for the newer games always seem to indicate they aren't as good as the Gamecube games (they don't use real physics anymore, for some reason? I think I read that).

I loved Battlefront back in the day, but I'm not interested in console FPS controls.

The only new reveal that I'm mildly interested in is Endless Ocean.

@TheSovryn I am not against buying digital games, per se. My collection of games I've purchased on Steam, for example, is gigantic. There is a big difference between what Steam is and what Nintendo has done, however. With Steam, my games are available on every new computer I buy for as long as Valve stays in business, and the games work or can be made to work on new PC's. With Nintendo, my Virtual Console purchases are gone forever. Sure, I can download all my digital games before the Nintendo shops close, but if my memory cards die, I'm SOL. And the games won't be re-downloadable on the next Nintendo console.
