Paper Mario: Color Splash may already be available for a few lucky customers in North America, but that doesn't mean there's not plenty to indulge your senses in should you not fall into the aforementioned category.
We've been playing through this and have been picking out some fun sections for videos. Below you can see a neat level that's featured in Nintendo's trailers - because of how cool it is, no doubt - and a trick to max out on gold coins.

I'm still very much excited for the game though the negativity around it is a minor turn-off. The wait's killing me, what's the UK's release date for the game?
looks a joy to play tbh, lucky people getting it early. still makes we wonder why not put the game out when it's done rather than wait for the release dates at least the digital ones.
I'm likely going to buy Paper Mario: ColoUr Splash at launch if it reviews well. I know a site where I can buy it for about €40. Yes some aspects of the game have annoyed me but I'm keeping an open mind and it is the last Wii U exclusive game made and published by Nintendo.
I'm really looking forward to it! Hear good things from those who managed to grab it.
@kenrulei B/c if companies made their digital games available the moment they were done, the 6 week wait to press the gold discs in China and slow boat them to the USA, would mean peopel would buy digital, and stores like Gamestop and Target and Walmart would stop carrying the discs in stores. And maybe the hardware as well.
Only way to be fair to everybody is to release disc and digital on the same day, which means holding back digital for weeks while discs are made, boxed, and transported. That's just the reality of the situation.
This looks pretty great.
If only my friends and I weren't all die hard physical media people. Ugh I could have been playing this after work today...
Being from the US and not Europe, I will (eventually) be buying the game this post is highlighting: Paper Mario: Color Splash. Not Colour Splash. I don't know why someone has to bring this up every time. Yes, the UK spells the word a different way- so what?
PS: not @ replying is intentional
Lol he just spontaneously smashes Toad
@DreamyViridi
Yeah, as of today it's 14 days! Can't wait!!
It does look very polished, but I just hope the mechanics are fun. See, no matter what anyone says, I think that was the same thing with Sticker Star; it was an extremely polished game with just boring gameplay and character design.
@Ryu_Niiyama
Lol.. You got enough space?
One of reasons I go disc besides being a die hard disc fan... Is I refused to buy a seperate hard drive
@SLIGEACH_EIRE Where are you getting this for €40? And here I am looking at €49.99 listings like a sucker.
I wish I could turn my customers into blobs of smoosh. That's right "the customer is not always right!"

£29.99. I bit the bullet and ordered it myself just there. I'm paying in £ rather than € as my bank I'm sure will give a more favourable exchange rate than their site does. It's €37 including delivery and of course if you're living in the UK you don't need to worry about a postage charge as delivery is free. I don't think anywhere else will be cheaper at launch.
Those Shy Guys goes crazy.
Poor of them, squished at the end, remain blue droplets.
@Ryu_Niiyama
There's nothing wrong if you owned Physical media of Wii U games. All my Nintendo games from NDS, 3DS, Wii and Wii U are Physical copies. My Wii U still have enough space even without external hard drive.
rock, paper..... remind me of alex kidd on master system
@sailornic Same. I wonder if he will make a cameo in this game...?
Looks great! But I don't like the soundtrack...
@JaxonH Reported for violence against Toads.
@arrmixer Plenty. Flash drives are cheap. And even if they weren't I have a few 2 TB drives kicking around somewhere. I am a bit of a digital hoarder so I was likely the only person on the planet happy that the wiiu was bring your own storage. My ps4 on the other hand with its mandatory installs.... :-/
What do people who got the game early say about it?
This game actually looks really good. I will wait for reviews, but I am seriously considering getting this game.
@SLIGEACH_EIRE That's not a bad saving at all. Thanks for that man.
Looks a lot better than before! I think I'm actually kinda excited for this game. Will wait for review scores once it comes out.
A beautiful game only matched by the awesome gameplay it looks to have. I can only hope the story is awesome too!
@Ryu_Niiyama "flash drives are cheap..." I've got a 128G in mine. But it wasn't exactly "cheap" in 2013 when I bought it.
@Ryu_Niiyama
oh you and me are on opposite polarities with that one. either way it's all good hope I didn't offend
@arrmixer lol, its all good. Storage space is only offensive when you run out haha! Besides, I knew when they announced the WiiU I would be in rare camp of pro self storage. But again Storage is cheap. I put a 128 gb flash drive on mine for 20 bucks. Which is more than enough for me and I've got a 1.5 TB drive on standby just for the wiiu. The only ganme I've deleted was the skunk bundle... since I only "bought" that for the coins.
Got it preordered a while ago. I cancelled my preorders only twice. Federation force and tenns smash.
