Re: Talking Point: What Was The Best Switch Moment Of 2023?

YoshiTails

2023 is the best year for the Switch for my money. So many top tier games

Metroid Prime
Octopath Traveller 2
Advance wars
Zelda
Pikmin 4
Sea of Stars
Dredge
Metal gear games on a Nintendo console
F-ZERO 99
Mario Wonder
Super Mario rpg

All golden releases, knocked it out the park. Good luck 2024, you'll need it!

@PinderSchloss Definitely a mature response that chimes with me. Internet comments are quick to jump into black and white, red or blue team and it's far too polarising. There are always shades of grey, unknown truths and this ultimately a tragedy that a once committed, hard working, entertaining YouTuber could fall so badly from grace.

And the all time greatest pinball game: Psycho pinball on the mega drive! Anyone remember it? Still play it with my dad from time to time, unreal level design and music.

Re: Soapbox: Ganondorf's Villainous Intro In Ocarina Of Time Is One Of Gaming's Best

YoshiTails

I actually think his villainous outro is the greatest in gaming: climbing the final castle stairs, the huge clunking door opens to reveal Ganondorf himself is playing the villainous theme that's been accompanying you this whole time on the organ. He keeps playing, building the tension and suddenly pauses, and turns around unfurling his cape in frustration at you, hiding in plain sight the triforce piece he needs for total power.

Just brilliant, let's have that in the live action film please!

Re: Switch's Game Boy Library Doesn't Have A Set Schedule, According To Nintendo

YoshiTails

Although I am enjoying these titles more than previous retro additions, the drip feed approach is outrageous. It baffles me these weren't added years ago. Why wait until near the end of thie console's lifespan? And then slap an insult by only releasing a tiny selection of retro games? By now, there should be a Netflix level library of a thousand or more retro titles - maybe this will be the future but the fact it's a subscription service that works slowly like a snail on an escalator to deliver a content range, is irksome. We deserve better from Nintendo.
