I don’t bother with preorders anymore. On my switch I’ve gone entirely digital so I’m not worrying too much, plus Nintendo first party games very rarely see a price drop

“the first time the regular Switch itself (not just the dock) has been available in anything other than boring black” has everyone forgot there was a Nintendo Labo themed Switch that came in a cardboard colour brown all over? I know it had something to do with a competition but it does exist.

Anyway I guess it’s kinda cool but usually red Nintendo systems seem to look cheap and nasty, it would look better if the joycons were a denim blue with yellow joysticks.

Damn Simpson’s Road Rage was a fantastic game. I might just have to dig out my copy just to have a good run through

I guess they’re only worth what people are willing to pay. I wonder if I should sell my collection.

@IronMan30 I’d say they would stay steady or even spike because new consoles always have teething issues that put people off the system.

The game sales during Black Friday might not be doing well because most people already own the games they want.

Themed consoles should be based on first party games in my opinion, I’m over getting limited/special/exclusive/themed consoles because they are more often than not an eyesore, Fortnite as a game sucks in my opinion

I don’t bother because I wash my hands before playing and wipe it down after a session, plus it’s only me using the system

Best way is on the switch as it’s the cheapest and easiest to get a hold of

My 4 local Argos has an abundance of them

I’m open for spin offs providing it’s not over done. To be honest I’d rather a 4 swords/triforce heroes style game for switch

Was contemplating it until I saw the price. I don’t mind paying a little extra for an official Nintendo design (already own the 256GB with the star) but at that price knowing I’ll probably never fill my current card I’ll give it a miss

The only game I’ve got that’s still sealed is my copy of The Legend of Zelda Links Awakening DX for Gameboy Colour

I was looking forward to this game because I enjoyed the original but I didn’t know it had already released

I personally don’t think there will be a switch pro as such but I do think there will be some variant of an upgrade like they did with the 3DS. Maybe with all the remade games being called DELUXE then I’m willing to guess it would be called Nintendo Switch DX.
Not much more powerful but fixing some hardware issues

Never owned a snes but I did pick up the snes classic so I can only really go on those games but yoshis island and Zelda was my most played

The controller ports on this looks kinda like a 2007 Alfa Romeo Spider

Most people on here more than likely own a switch anyway and if you want a game you’ll get it regardless weather it’s discounted.
I’ve gone all digital with my switch so much of the discounts I’ll miss but I save money on only buying games I know I’ll get my money’s worth out of

My Switch Lite and I’ll stick with my current One X as my second system to play some games I missed in this “generation”

15 years you say? I only started using the internet 12 years ago so that’s interesting

Sold. Loved the original back in the day and never knew there was a second until last year so I’m getting day one

Played this on Xbox and found it was quite an interesting game, kinda like Hitman so it’s worth a play if you’re into stealth

@SwitchForce I agree. I only play handheld but for some games it’s easier using a separate controller

If they re released the new 3DS XL I would buy it in a heartbeat, I miss mine that got stolen along with all my games and I didn’t want to invest in the 2DS because I always used the 3D

Having just done some research I’ve discovered that I have never played a Rare game so for me to get 4 was decent

@Anti-Matter for the cost of this you could almost get the Nintendo Switch Lite in all 4 colours

I’m not defending Apple but it is a bit scummy what epic have done,
It’s the equivalent of going into a shop and telling someone that they can get what they want cheaper down the road.

I’d love to get back into Pokémon games but the last one I played was ruby and sapphire on game boy so I feel way too much has changed for me to jump in and understand what’s happening

Never played a paper Mario game because I didn’t think I’d enjoy it but I might give it a try.

Sonic games have been a bit of a hit or miss for me sonic heroes and generations were good though

It should have been that in the first place. Personally all home icons should be the same as the box art, numerous times I’ve looked through my digital games and thought “what game is that?”

I’d love to have it but I could buy a brand new Switch Lite for less

@rockodoodle with the success Smash Ultimate had with all the different characters I honestly think it will happen even if it’s just adding more first party characters

Neat. I personally always use my switch portable because of preference but I can see this being a good alternative if you’re still worried about the dock scratching your screen

I’m hoping it will be exclusive to Nintendo because I played the first 2 on Switch and feel that if it’s also on Playstation and Xbox then the switch version will be below par (like Outer Worlds)
