That is a little expensive. I know proceeds go to charity but if you think about it it won’t be that much. The hotel will still take for the room, I’m sure Nintendo might take something for supplying the systems and games.

Personally it might be better to arrange a get together with friends and raise funds for charity that way.

Interesting. It seems to be releasing the switch in the same colours (although a slight different shade) as the Gameboy colour. Maybe a purple Or green one is on the horizon.

I’ve been tempted to get Lego Harry Potter but with it being one of the first Lego games without the voice acting and lower detail I’ve held off, possibly get the sky walker saga when that drops but I’ll see how that fairs out

Gutted I payed £27 each last Friday on amazon, still spyro was worth it however I noticed in handheld (not played docked) it has this weird feint dotted pattern across the screen

Personally I think cloud based gaming will just become an addition to what we have now with discs and cards

I’ve been playing since gen one but lost interest due to them becoming ridiculous, personally I preferred the starters in gen 2

I owned a ps1 and loved the few games I had, never was allowed the n64 because we couldn’t get copied games. Now I’m going back and buying the originals

The next Mario kart should be changed to Nintendo Kart. Have the roster size of smash bros. With a wealth of themed stages from other games

My favourite was probably tennis or golf, at the moment the only thing near the tennis is Mario aces and I’ve not got it due to the bad things I’ve heard

I never noticed it until I put on a tempered glass screen, I knew what it was but what did confuse me why there? Surely it would be better placed at the top? Or even centred in the middle rather than off to the side

@Richnj as I work away Monday to Friday and have very little time on the weekend I’ve made my switch my primary system.
Sold my Xbox to get a few games and the PlayStation is mainly for when I have friends around or the occasional exclusive.

Not bothered downloading as it didn’t have any features I’d use and by the look on things it still doesn’t, I was expecting something like the Xbox or PlayStation app where you see friends online, what games they’re playing and how long they’ve played the game but I guess that’s asking too much

Personally this whole thing where game consoles ‘compete’ and have to come out with new iterations around the same time is stupid.
Owned an Xbox one at launch and went through about 5 within a year because they were rushed to compete with PlayStation so I just gave up and had my money back, that’s why I stick with Nintendo.

@rockodoodle have yet yeah? Not really used my 3ds in a while as I’ve already built up a backlog of switch games I need to get through

@rockodoodle I forgot about street pass, possibly one of the most used features on my 3ds, unfortunately I didn’t get into it until About a year after the new 3ds was released but I loved collecting the puzzle pieces.

I understand the hype for Pokemon go because it did well and even got people playing that would usually turn their nose up at Pokémon so I can see why it would get game of the decade, however since 2010 there have been more games that I believe are better. Breath of the wild being one but hey that’s just my opinion

Personally I’m surprised it hasn’t already vanished. The prices are higher than anywhere else I get my games Preowned or new, new games are unsealed unless you’re buying within a week of release, trade in is a joke £13 for breath of the wild when down the road at CEX I’d get £33.
Personally there are 2 local to where I live and one has really bad customer service and the other is really pushy, now I only go in While my wife goes shopping and I’m just looking to waste time

Personally Senran Kagura is not something I’ve played or have any interest in, I don’t think the people who enjoy the games are perverted just that they have a different taste in games than I do.

@Rayquaza2510 assuming you’ve never heard of or seen Senran Kagura, it’s kinda like those Dead or Alive volleyball games where there are a load of semi nude females.

Personally I could take it or leave it. I used to use the black theme now I stick with the white but I think it would be cool to change the highlighted parts from blue like you could on the DSi. I’d much prefer a red or green

I’m not fussed on any of them as I’m not a fan of the art style but I voted for the Japan release purely because it Slightly reminded me of the home menu on the new smash bros

personally I quite enjoyed Disney Universe and I can see how it would feel at home on the switch with the LEGO style multiplayer and also there’s potential to add loads more characters to the game

if only he’d gone all digital. The game would have still worked too

I have one of these for my Nintendo switch after using the official aluminium case and I much prefer this case as it’s really good quality and I love the slim form factor. I’d highly recommend one

@Crono1973 again I don’t know what the content is like in the US but here in the UK it seemed more like a novelty way of getting a few channels, I just assumed it died off.

Do people still use Roku? I can’t speak about the US content but in the uk I found it quite underwhelming

@step_over I did but all the ones near me only had ones I wasn’t interested in or only had one of the games in stock. Shows it was a good deal I suppose

I used to enjoy going to a midnight launch at my local game but the nearest one to me on this list is Pontypridd and damn they suck. Not helpful and just can’t wait to get it over with.

@Yorumi I don’t particularly care how people earn their money. If they can earn money doing something they enjoy doing then great but I wouldn’t class playing games a profession. I’d say he was more of an entertainer of sorts, a lot of my work involves driving but I wouldn’t call myself a professional driver.

this is the equivalent of paying money for a wallpaper for your computer. Yeah it looks good but doesn’t add anything. Then again I’ve never played fortnight so...

I’m not a huge fan of multiplayer games as I tend to play when the wife is watching something or has her friends over so a pass for me.

Personally haven’t followed Pokémon since my Gameboy days. I have been tempted to jump back in but I’m not sure because they seem to have advanced drastically since then so there’s probably way too much new things going on.

Would be playing Luigi’s Mansion 3 but my wife decided to make me wait until our anniversary but it gives me time to finish up Link’s Awakening and make a start on Kirby Star Allies or Hyrule Warriors

Standing in the queue would effectively be longer than my travelling To London and I don’t even live in the country

Damn expensive for a children’s game. Perhaps they should have done something like this for saints row or just invested the money in remastering Destroy All Humans!

I may be in the minority but I prefer to stick with the standard controller for all my gaming.

I’ve been considered addicted to video games but I probably only play about an hour or two a week and that’s usually if I’ve got nothing to do, however I bet if Facebook was to go down for a day or two I’m sure some people would just loose their mind.

@DAHstroy I remember those days. Either you or a friend had to be the one to go out and buy one so you could play together or trade Pokémon

I’m sure the breath of the wild expanded game guide came with a decent size map with all the items and shrines and stuff, having said that this is still awesome and well done. I’d love to have the patience to sit and do something like this.

I’ve never played any of the Metroid, Kirby, Donkey Kong, Pikmin or Yoshi games.

I have been tempted with Kirby and Donkey Kong for the switch as I vowed to only buy games I know I’ll play to the end.

When I’m not playing the system it is placed back in its case and back in the drawer ( unless a long gamin session I let it cool first before using the case. Have done with all my systems.
However maybe mentioning about falling asleep whilst playing maybe a bigger issue.

Downloaded it because I enjoy Nintendo’s 1st party games and enjoyed some of the Mario karts but this was deleted not long after being installed, mobile games usually suck or at best tolerable and this is a typical mobile hame
