The only thing I’d be excited for is borderlands and maybe bioshock, the first borderlands was my entry into the role play games so would be nice to play that again
When I seen the side view I instantly thought about the old Argos catalogs here in the UK. Unsure if they make them anymore but they were big meaty books
I’m a fan of collector/special/limited edition games but why have a lot of companies gone the route of statues?? It just drastically drives up the price and makes my living space seem cluttered
Art is like music and other Forms of media, the best ones can make you feel different feelings and emotions, with that in mind, if a statue of a nude person offends you then that proves it’s good art.
I have noticed that before the 10.0.0 update, restoring the switch only took about 60 seconds but now since then it’s gone up to about 10 minutes, even when the System has just been wiped clean.
All the games I’ve played are listed here and I’m not complaining because they are beautiful, not got around to New Horizons yet so can’t comment on that but I’ve seen videos and visually it looks okay but I’ll be playing handheld so might look a little better
@iNintendo yeah I have tried it but there’s only a handful of games I was interested in and even then it didn’t hold my attention long enough. I understand some people enjoy it and would like the idea implemented on the switch but personally I don’t like the idea.
I disagree with Nintendo creating something like Apple Arcade because the games on there are still shovelware just with a monthly payed subscription instead of micro transactions, maybe if it was something compared to Xbox game pass then fair enough
I hope it does get ported over because I’m yet to play a Mario game on the switch and I enjoyed playing 3D land on 3DS, plus this will allow me to play some of the WiiU games
@Noid Now you mentioned weird and obscure games, I remember playing a real odd game back on PS2 called Gregory Horror Show, now I’m gonna have to see if there’s a speed run for that
@ComposedJam that’s fine, you can play however you want I’m just putting in my opinion. I just believe that time skipping takes away from the experience of the game by rushing into the end game
I think that if this was to happen it would end up in the style of the new Mario Lego than the traditional mini figures, I also think it would go down the generic route and not specifically based on a specific game. Possibly a boss dungeon. Goron mountain area. links house. Hurdle castle and so on
Anyone paying the ridiculous prices for these are the reason why the prices are going up. Just hold off until Nintendo releases a new series or a reprint
@Eddy9000 The Nintendo UK website sells physical copies too. Unfortunately the prices are slightly more than other retailers. However they do seem to have plenty of stock but nothing ever goes on sale there. I mean Starlink is still full release price
Not really excited about anything here, I’m loving Animal Crossing but I don’t celebrate the Easter holiday, might pick up Xenoblade Chronicles one day
The toys to life idea is clever if it’s done right, amiibo work across multiple games so tend to keep the interest going, I think if Starlink was just the standalone game and used the fox Amiibo to use the Starfox stuff it probably would have done a lot better
Personally nothing really interested me, the Xenoblade Chronicles looked okay and didn’t manage to pick it up on 3ds so may pick it up when there’s a quiet month of releases
This physical with a massive download is getting ridiculous. If the amount you have to download is more than what is available on the console then they should use bigger carts or sell them individually. Fair enough if your downloading from the eshop but not the physical copy
The one complaint stating that there’s no clear objective to the game shows they never played Animal Crossing before, that’s the purpose of the game.
And also the one about Sony respecting its customers? Really? Releasing unfinished games then releasing patches all the time to fix what shouldn’t be an issue?
Seriously though I don’t really see any of it as an issue
Well turns out I’m off work now for 3 weeks. Luckily I picked up my new Switch lite and Animal Crossing yesterday, so now I can binge play that and not worry too much about going out or getting bored
The only reason to buy these code only physical games is if you’re planning on getting the game anyway and you need a replacement case for another physical game that got damaged somehow
@Shambo I think the vibrancy in colours between the NA and EU copies is just the image that’s been uploaded rather than the actual artwork but I agree I think the zoomed out view is slightly better
I don’t see the point in cheating because it ruins the game for them. Back in the day I used to use cheats in games but going back and playing them legitimately is a more enjoyable and rewarding experience,
Personally I’d rather play the game as it was intended
I ended up having such a backlog that during the life of the wii u that I owned about 20 games and hadn’t managed any of them so I sold them all. Now with my switch being my only system. I watch a few reviews and a couple of walkthrough videos and if I could see myself playing through to the end I’ll get the game. Now down to playing the games I only get to play on weekends so I’ll get myself excited to get back into the game
Going all digital in China will be easy because you wouldn’t need to get a micro SD card yet.
I guess if you look at it from a different view point it’s not too bad because it would give you enough time to finish a game rather than building up a hefty backlog, also avoiding the cluttering shovel ware on the eshop
I do agree with some of the comments that Its a pointless waste of time but he has footage to show what he accomplished, however the people I believe who have too much time on their hands are the ones watching the stream, they chose to sit there and watch it instead of doing something productive.
I’ve actually been looking for a new in box nes classic because I do like the back to basics style of gaming but I refuse to pay the scalped prices. Buying an original system and the games I want would be too costly for me and the nes mini has those games
I’ve kept myself in the dark with animal crossing because every one I’ve owned I’ve put in way too many hours so I’ve tried my best to read anything on it but screw it, I’ll just pre order it
This weekend I started Mario Kart 8 Deluxe for the first time and done the 100cc with 3 stars on all cups, thinking of maybe playing something that doesn’t involve continuously getting hit with blue shells, possibly Captain Toad

@Anti-Matter I completely agree, I hope Nintendo change theirs too from the red border

Re: Random: Cadence Of Hyrule Guitarist Petitions For Time Travel Cheater Stamp In Animal Crossing
I quite like the stamp idea, however I wouldn’t brand it with cheater, just simply time traveller so that it doesn’t have a negative stigma attached
Re: UK News Outlet Calls Animal Crossing's Nature Day "A Farce", Says It "Teaches Kids Toxic Lessons"
Everyone knows The Independent is for the privileged people and they’re still sore about the ban of fox hunting.

Re: Nintendo Switch Players Advised To Secure Accounts After Numerous Unauthorised Login Reports
This issue wouldn’t affect me as I don’t play online and all my games are physical so I never bothered creating an account,
The only places I have an account is on my mobile and tablet device and even then my password is long and can only be accessed on those devices.

The way I see it is time travelling is cheating, plus it takes away from the purpose of the game
Re: Random: Hey LEGO, The Next Nintendo Set We'll Take Is Hyrule Castle From Zelda: Breath Of The Wild

Re: Talking Point: What Are You Playing This Weekend? (April 4th)
@JoeM103 same here, my original switch died so I got a switch lite just before all this happened so starting all my games again isn’t too bad

I can see that it’s an interesting idea but the question is why?
Re: Talking Point: What Are You Playing This Weekend? (April 4th)
I’m gonna start Breath of the Wild again but this time I’m going for the 100% completion

Re: Did You Know You Can Customise Your Joy-Con's Colours In Animal Crossing: New Horizons?
@JayJ ah that sucks. I have the grey one so I guess I could just change it to the grey joy cons and pretend
Re: Did You Know You Can Customise Your Joy-Con's Colours In Animal Crossing: New Horizons?
I hope they do the same with people who have the Switch Lite.

Re: Animal Crossing Producer Hopes Fans Will Use New Horizons To "Escape" Reality Right Now
To be fair it’s excellent timing that Animal Crossing was released as now if I need to go into isolation I’ll have something to occupy my time.

Re: Poll: Box Art Brawl #33 - Castlevania (Nintendo 64)
I voted European purely on the fact I’m not a fan of the 90s style 3D used for the characters on the box art, makes it look kinda goofy
