If you didn't get around to pre-ordering Mega Man Zero/ZX Legacy Collection before its release on the Switch earlier this year, you likely missed out on the special timed pre-order exclusive: Mega Man Zero/ZX Reploid Remixes DLC.
The good news is this downloadable content has now been made available for all owners of the game. Here's exactly what it contains, according to the official Nintendo website:
This package includes six alternative in-game background music tracks, as well as four specially arranged songs by series veteran composers available exclusively in the Music Player.
If you're curious to know more about this collection, be sure to take a look at our review. We gave the six-games-in-one release nine out of ten stars and said it was definitely worth a look. Will you be downloading this free content for this particular Mega Man Collection? Tell us down below.

When will they make a Mega Man Zero 5, the game that took place between Mega Man Zero 4 and Mega Man ZX?
It's about time. Now if they could patch the ZX games to have a pixel-perfect mode... THAT would be really awesome.
That's nice though I imagine the people who pre-ordered will feel cheated a bit.
@Kalmaro Well, at least they announced it would be "available at a later date" back then.
Music tracks, yawn, anyone who thought that was an amazing pre-order bonus and no one else should get it is just being silly. Nice job not charging for it Capcom.
@rushiosan Oh they did? If so then that's cool.
@retro_player_77
Mega man ZX and Advent basically are Zero 5 and 6. At least that's what i like to call them. They might as well be.
So when's the next Legacy Collection? Better yet, when's the next game?
We need a battle network collection! Oh and it better include the gamecube game. That was definitely a hidden gem and sadly overlooked. It's like they turned battle network into a classic style mega man game instead of a turn based RPG and i really enjoyed it!
@retro_player_77
Only unless they retcon Zero 4’s ending and ignore ZX which is somewhat within realm of possibility actually considering how bland ZX is.
All preorder exclusive dlc should be available to purchase
They did the same thing for Mega Man 11, so I'm glad that they're doing this here too.
Basically this punished any EU players who wanted to import a physical copy of the game from elsewhere, and couldn't redeem the code it may've included.
I jumped straight onto the download page on the Nintendo UK Website and started the free download.
@Slowdive
They already did. The instrumental tracks have been free for anyone to download for a long time.

I'm glad that they did because these tracks are far better than the standard ones. Mega Man 11 has a weak soundtrack, mostly due to instrumentation though.
@Zeldafan79 I have a feeling we'll get one or two battle network collections soon. That's such an easy win for them, and we've gotten nearly every other classic mega man game in the last few years.
Why am i just now hearing about these free DLC updates that add new music? Now we just need an 8-bit music update for Mega man 11! Time for a replay!
This collection is glorious, and the Reploid Remixes are fantastic, with the remix of Crash (the boss theme from Zero 1) being a particular standout
