Yeah, they probably just wanted a digital release of these games since they aren't printing DS games anymore.

I'm picking the game up since i don't own the original DS version but i probably wouldn't if i owned the original one.

I'm more than happy with the current 3DS library so even if it doesn't get any more new games i'm fine with it.

If i could ask for one last thing it would be Persona Q2 english but aside from that i think the 3DS had a very good run.

Still need to clear my backlog though...

@SubtleGris Not everyone buy at release and there is also new players everyday.

Continued support for game can help bring new players who are on a fence or just got their console. Maybe they aren't interested in a "surf DLC" in particular but the image of an active and good developer can drive more sales.

On the other hand you see developers who barely touch their game after the initial release. More than often leaving bugs unfixed, let alone releasing new (free) content.

It seems they want to make something different and not just stick with the same type of games.

Hoping they make something great again in the future.

One or two of these games per year wouldn't hurt i guess. I rather they spend more time on new games after all

It's probably because of PQ2, it was released a few days ago in Japan for the 3DS.

@aznable Online only, you can hunt solo but still needs to be online connected to their servers.

This game is really underrated, more people should play it.

It runs like a turd everywhere, i wasn't expecting to be any different on the Switch.

Such a shame because i really like the idea of the game, but the poor optimization really kills it.

Planning to get a 2DS for my nephew and niece, they love playing it every time they visit me.

Backlog on my 3DS is still pretty huge, i actually see myself playing it for the next few years considering the exclusive gems i have yet to play.

Feels like an okay-ish game, but releasing alongside Dark Souls is just the worst timing ever.

It was certainly a very polished entry in the series and worth playing, i don't regret buying it. Can't wait to see what they have in store for Wario on the Switch.

First one is still the best. I don't recommend playing this one if you haven't played the first two.

Jokes aside i wouldn't mind a "Netflix" type of service (with an offline option like the current NES games, not streaming) if it had at least the size of the Wii U VC library. Right now the offering is incredibly underwhelming.

If they are going to keep at this pace, i rather just buy and own them.

Games being leaked has been a thing a long time ago. I think the last Pokemon games got leaked one week before release.

@Lando_ Sold around 75k copies in the first two weeks back in March in Japan. These Switch numbers are probably the result of a 6 month old port i think.

Since the Switch version was only released now in Japan i'm not surprised with these numbers, until now japanese players could only buy the PS4 version after all. I have a feeling the Switch version it'll do better in the west though...

Better battery and a dock with more features (like ssd or external hdd support) would be nice. Not that i would buy right away (got my Switch less than a month ago) but i could potentially upgrade in the future.

The website got updated, now it only says "Nintendo 3DS" which probably means it'll be playable on all models.

I wish WO3 was released in english for the Switch, gonna have to live with just WO4.

This visual novel is great and i recommend even to people who aren't into visual novels but still enjoy a good read.

Maybe... just maybe some of us wouldn't mind paying a bit more for a better service. It's not always about being cheap you know.

Game is so much fun on PC, great time killer. Shame it doesn't run great on the Switch. Even my PC gets pretty hot when running this game, i guess games like this is too heavy on the CPU side.

@maruse One or two weeks would be more than enough in my opinion. I personally wouldn't complain if they made that clear. I'm not expecting 6 months either but most cloud services gives you at least 30 days to recover your data before deleting permanently.

Some people has really busy schedules or live in places with poor connection, a small grace period window would be very very appreciated by some of us.

@maruse should have a grace period at least for a few days, like any normal cloud server service. I'm not expecting eternal storage though. But i guess that's asking too much from poor struggling Nintendo.

Not sure about your apartment analogy, but where i live you can actually make a contract that gives you a few days to move your belongings with you. Like you know... a grace period

I think saves should still be in the cloud and only block the ability to sync, not straight delete them.

So what's the point of cloud saving then? Might as well not exist if this is going to be an excuse from now on.

I'm planning to get my Switch this year so i was hoping for some cool bundle to be announced. I guess i'll just settle with a cheap standard model and pick a skin from DecalGirl.

Well, in Splatoon case they could save your progression server side like... you know, any other half-decent shooter in the market.

After playing the full version on PC is hard to justify buying this. Hard pass.

I don't understand why some people are freaking out. It actually costs MORE to maintain a GMS license than Unity or Unreal.

If anything, Unity is way more accessible to shovelware with the amount of pre-packaged assets on the Unity store to create asset flips, like Hammer 2 and UnitZ.

I hope we get another top view Zelda game, like A Link Between Worlds.
